“Darien was absolutely fantastic with our girl (Elsa)! From the onset of booking she made me feel completely at ease by setting up a video chat so that we could meet and I would be comfortable with where Elsa would be staying. Darien would send frequent updates of Elsa’s activities at her place and I could tell Elsa was so well taken care of by Darien and her family (she looked like she was right at home!!). I was also very happy to hear that Elsa got along well with Darien’s dog because Elsa is normally not a very social dog. All in all, Elsa had a comfortable and happy stay and I would definitely bring Elsa back for future boardings 😊!”

Since I was nervous leaving my dog she provided updates and pictures through Troubles stay for me which was a gigantic relief. I also had to change my return plans to significantly earlier because of weather and again she accommodated the last minute request. I'm very happy and Trouble had a fantastic time. She was concerned when one of my kitties wouldn’t come out, but she is a very scared cat around new people, so I wasn’t worried about it, but within a couple days she came out while Belle was there, so I knew they loved her and trusted her. I try to give my pup walks once a day and give my cats and my dog play dates once a day so my puppy does very well with other cats as well as other dogs my cats are very sweet and loving with any kind of animals. All furry friends deserve a loving environment to be cared for in and I’m here to provide that! I am available any service you may need! My schedule is weekdays amy time before 7:20 annd afree 3:00 usually and weekends anytime . Overnights I can do we just have to discuss it together for weekdays and any time weekends I always make sure that my dog is taken out enough and has enough exercises and playtime outside are taken out since every hour, to make sure there are no accidents.for my cats I change they’re litter every day and play with them at least an hour- 2 hours a day as well as cuddle time on top of that. The kittens get fed 3 times a day wet food. My dog is deaf so I try to use my hands to communicate he’s only 3 sadly buts he’s very well trained and a very great dog listens great.

Gen and Alex are very loving, caring and intuitive in their approach to meeting the needs of each individual ‘loved one’ entrusted to their care. Gen is a gentle, thoughtful soul who has shown us that Charlie’s well being and comfort are as important to her as they are to us. Gen and Alex have a home that is reflective of their desire to make sure that our pets have everything they could possibly need… toys (squeaky, squishy, large, small, mentally stimulating, etc.,), places to rest and snuggle (comfort/calming pet bed, couch, Gen’s bed for Charlie as he likes the security of being with his ‘loved one’), they have thought of everything! We didn’t know if we could find anyone who would tick every box when it came to leaving our Charlie in their care for a month while we were away, but Gen and Alex made us feel confident in them after Charlie’s first meet and greet!!! Charlie took to them after his second meet and greet (Gen suggested a second one to make sure that Charlie was 100% comfortable with them, which was wonderful). We booked a day camp for Charlie to become better acquainted with Gen and Alex before his long stay and the entire experience was great for Charlie and he settled right in for the day… Gen sent photos and updates to us to help us as we adjusted to leaving Charlie and it really did let us see that he was well taken care of, happy and having a great time. Look no further than Gen and Alex, we don’t think there could be any better than these two!! Highly recommend!!!”

Dogs love routine- whether they're staying with me or at your house. Waking up at the same time each morning makes certain they get the ya-ya's out and don't have to wait to go potty. Puppies and older dogs with more urgent bladder needs will of course be accomodated with extra supervised trips outside and puppy pads if needed. I'm very conscious that there are no animal-toxic foods/plants/fragrances left out for pets to get into. You can rest assured your pet will be fed the proper amounts, medicines, and brands of your choice to protect their digestive system. My home offers a big beautiful bike path on the river, where your pet will get tons of good walks and a big house to explore. For cats, I have a large but contained space for them to roam and also find seclusion without getting lost. Their litter box will stay in the same spot every time so they know where to go, and they will always have fresh litter. I would love to play with them so bring their favorite toys! No other pets are in the home as all of our babies passed of old age. Adult family members share the home, so there is extra help. No kiddos are in the home so no concerns there. If in your home, I'm very diligent about making sure doors are secure and locked so pets don't escape. I always know where your pet is and make sure their environment is calm and quiet.

I have also had a Shih tzu of my own for 3 years now. I work part time and I am a full time student. My summer schedule has classes and work several days of the week. I’m generally free most mornings and after 9pm on days I work. I let my dog walk around our home freely. However in our backyard I have a leash for him so he can walk around while not being able to run off! When I am dog watching when I am away I would crate the dog if im gone for several hours and let them roam if its for a short amount of time.

About: I have had both cats and dogs for nearly my entire life. I have owned and cared for dogs of all ages and sizes, some with special needs. I believe that for the love and companionship animals offer us, the least we can do for them is make sure they are well loved back and always happy and healthy! I do work part time during the week, however I am available Tuesdays and Thursdays indefinitely and have the ability to work around my work schedule for bookings on other days of the week if need be. I took some classes and this one I took at my vet which I was amazed because they taught me how to drain the adrenaline glands and some dogs have a severe issue with that quite often. My dog does! There are classes that you can go in and they will take the time and show you for some things. I like to to participate in these classes so I have knowledge when it comes time to if anything happens. I started dog walking at 12 years old. A long with other jobs of course throughout life. I have been pet sitting for almost 15 years. I am a full time pet sitter with all of your needs and wants for your fur baby as if your fur baby was my own! You see...... From the onset of booking she made me feel completely at ease by setting up a video chat so that we could meet and I would be comfortable with where Elsa would be staying. Darien would send frequent updates of Elsa’s activities at her place and I could tell Elsa was so well taken care of by Darien and her family (she looked like she was right at home!!). I was also very happy to hear that Elsa got along well with Darien’s dog because Elsa is normally not a very social dog. All in all, Elsa had a comfortable and happy stay and I would definitely bring Elsa back for future boardings 😊!”
