About: I've been a foster and pet sitter for mostly greyhounds for the past 20 years, and have always had dogs of my own. I've gone through obedience classes and grooming, and am pretty good with most temperaments. I am very available and flexible, since I'm retired. About: Murphy and I are a tag team! Please only reach out if your pets are good with other dogs. I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. I also have experience working as an enrichment specialist at a well-known doggy daycare in Rochester and volunteering as a foster for local rescues. I am experienced with anxious dogs and can adapt to your fur-baby's specific needs. I'm trained in basic human and canine CPR, and I'm skilled at recognizing early signs of reactive behavior in animals. While I'm not perfect, I'm highly attentive. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.

I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! About: I have had Bruno since he was 4 months old, the first year was in and out of vets, I finally figured out he had pretty bad allergies since started allergies pills and making his food from scratch he is living his best life. Lots of space to run and play both inside and out. Daily updates with photos Genuine concern for our dog both physically and emotionally. We are so happy with the care provided that we are looking for excuses to leave our dog with them again 😁”
“Debra was wonderful! My blue heeler loved staying with her! He is a bit clingy to me so I was worried leaving him, but he was quite comfortable with Debra. She sent me pictures and ensured me he was doing great throughout the stay. I would absolutely recommend Debra for boarding. My dog was well taken care of.”

About: I’ve been walking dogs for a while now, and I’ve always had dogs of my own. I also have experience fostering. I have experience with all ages, sizes, and breeds. I currently work from home, so I have flexibility in when and how I can provide care. I’m available weekdays for drop ins and walks. I look forward to taking your dog on walks, and can transport them securely in my car if needed. Depending on the dog, a service I offer is jogs. I take my own pup, Flo, on runs all the time.

“Had a great experience with Patrick. We had an unplanned trip for family reasons and had to find a sitter for Whiskey (1yo unfixed cav) a day before leaving. “Matt & Rachel we’re great dog sitters for us! This was our first time using Rover and having our dogs stay with strangers so we were a little nervous going into it. We had a meet and greet with them and their dogs prior to booking and it eased all our nerves! We loved the daily photos and videos from them. They were great about providing an update on our dogs daily including the status of them eating. One of our dogs gets really anxious and depressed when we leave him (even if he’s staying with our parents) and tends to skip meals. Rachel and Matt kept a close eye on him and updated us regularly. Pups came home very tired from playing - safe to say, we’ve already booked them again for a future trip!”
