About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I’ve always had cats around and have taken care of strays and making sure they always got the love and food they needed! I’ve recently started to help take care of family and friends cats and have researched and learned a lot of things. I love to give my kitty friends space when they need it and all the love and snuggles. I love deep cleaning litter boxes to make sure that they have a clean place to go potty. I also enjoy brushing cats and am very good at getting their nails clipped, even if they’re grumpy!

About: I've never understood the "cat person versus dog person" rivalry because I grew up with and love them both! I currently live with two cats and their personalities are completely different even though they are both females and look alike! I enjoy slowly building trust with cats by respecting their boundaries. I love to play and cuddle with cats, but I never force a cat to do anything they don't want to do, which helps them open up to me. About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. About: During my high school years, I attended a BOCES program specifically for small animal care. There, I learned how to handle and restrain many animals such as cats, dogs, and other small friends! I have three rabbits, two dogs, and my kitty. About: I used to dog walk a couple dogs. Then I moved onto horses. So I know I can handle the hardest canines. They’re fun to have around. I’m working but also just thinking about doing this instead. Work gets boring and this wouldn’t. I love animals and they tend to love me back. I have a giant yard. They can’t be off leash but we can have fun running in the grass. I also help my sister who fosters at a local rescue by letting her fosters take breaks, give them endless love with cuddles, and treat them like my own. If your pup needs a bath and is well-behaved in the tub, I'd love to freshen them up! (I do not cut nails). All of my pups are on flea and tick prevention year round. About: I’ve taken care of, rehomed and have rehabbed dogs for quite a few years. I’ve taken in special needs dogs, and dogs that have had behavioral problems and have worked with them to reach their full potential. I love watching my family and friends animals and give them all of the comfort and loving they need. Oh, and also all of the snuggles! I believe in being able to read a dogs body language to make sure that they can be as comfortable as can be! About: I have been fortunate enough to have had animals most of my life. These have ranged from dogs, rabbits, chickens, horses, cows, and fish. I have volunteered time at a wildlife rehab and also worked a few years at a dog daycare facility that would average about 50 dogs a day. I have a bachelors degree in Animal behavior, ecology and conservation. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. I currently have 2 rabbits and a dog. I am a substitute teacher so my schedule is rather flexible. It allows me to arrange my week how I need it. My afternoons are usually pretty open. I will ensure that each pet is safe, secure and well taken care of in the comfort of their own home while providing updates to their families.

About: I've fostered a variety of dogs and puppies of different ages for many years. I have also dog sat for friends before and am reliable. I’ve had dogs all my life, so know how to take care of them in every stage of their life. I'm currently working part time, so I will be available to play with your pets and fulfill their needs. I always make sure my dogs are well taken care of and exercised. I always go outside with the animals so they won't run away and so I can keep an eye on them. About: Having worked as both a dog trainer and a pet care associate for PetSmart for 3+ years - as well as having always been a pet owner myself - I’ve learned a great deal about how to suit the needs of each and every pet and how to best communicate with them and accommodate their needs! About: I have my own dog named Finn who is a 1 year old newfiedoodle. He is pretty relaxed but we enjoy going on walks and hanging out. I have always loved pets and been happy to help take care of the pets of my family and friends. I currently have weekends off to be available for pets. I also do not work in the summer months (July and August) and have time to watch and walk pets much more often. Our yard is not fenced but we have 20 acres of land to go on safe walks with a leash. I also have a large crate and can crate if needed.
About: I’ve taken care of many animals in my life. Neighbors, friends and family have all relied on me to watch their pets including barn animals. I’m currently working part-time so i’m looking for something that I can do on the side. I’m available 2 days of the week and every morning or late night. I have one cat and 2 dogs at home. Diesel is a 2 year old black lab and Rudy is a 3 year old pit mix. I enjoy taking them for walks or just hanging out in the yard throwing a ball around.

About: I’ve always had a dog growing up and currently have my own black lab! I also help my sister who fosters at a local rescue by letting her fosters take breaks, give them endless love with cuddles, and treat them like my own. Helping many different fosters, I have a lot of experiences with different breeds. My sister has a Husky and Australian Shepard who I take care of regularly too. I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, etc. I currently am a teacher so I will be doing this part time on evenings and weekends. I will be available on breaks of course! However, I will be available during all of summer including the weekends and weekdays for your dog’s needs! I have a big fenced in yard. I have a black lab to keep them company as well. I can put them in crate, feed, play, and walk them.
About: I used to dog walk a couple dogs. Then I moved onto horses. So I know I can handle the hardest canines. They’re fun to have around. I’m working but also just thinking about doing this instead. Work gets boring and this wouldn’t. I love animals and they tend to love me back. I have a giant yard. They can’t be off leash but we can have fun running in the grass. I have animals that will stay upstairs when the dog or cat is here.
About: I love dogs and had one for 17 years! Our good boy recently crossed the rainbow bridge and we miss him so much. I have experience with young dogs, but also with senior dogs I am currently available during the day every weekday, so whether it’s an early morning or late afternoon walk, I can be there no problem! About: My parents have been breeding basset hounds since I was 6 years old. Ever since I can remember I have always helped my parents take care of our bassets. I would also help with the deliveries, which means I also have experience with taking care of puppies! My boyfriend has a pit bull mix and whenever I visit with him I will also help take care of his dog as well. She has a lot of energy so we take lots of long walks together. I work part time as a behavior technician so my schedule is pretty flexible. I mostly work evenings and I am off on Sundays and Mondays. I am also available most mornings. I am very good at sticking to a schedule and I am super organized so I will make sure that your pet gets fed at the correct time and has plenty of fresh water. I am an animal lover so I will be sure to give your pets lots of love and attention as well.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
