Hosting a pup may be easy but understanding the psyche, taking measures to ensure all dogs are safe needs skills and that sets Arya apart. Few weeks before hosting, I took Bubbles for a meet and greet, only with Arya. He introduced Enzo and Igor to me as well, but, only after Bubbles was in the car. It gave me a wonderful feeling how much he cared about not just his pups but mine too. The stay- Arya is a brilliant and talented host and has been updating me with many videos and pictures about the walks, food and stays. He diligently walked Bubbles everyday. As Bubbles is a black lab, he was being mindful of the heat and took him out for walks at night. I was impressed how much he cares and loves the pups he is boarding. About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

I have lots of experience with senior cats with health conditions; managing pet prescriptions and special diets. I'm comfortable administering medications if needed. I've taken care of a variety of different animals since I was very young, from dogs, cats, lizards, bunnies, chinchillas, guinea pigs etc. I've grown up living with dogs since I was a child so I'm extremely comfortable around many dog breeds big and small. About: Miranda has grown up in a home with furry friends since she was 6 months old! Everyone in the family has always had dogs. Miranda has raised 3 of her own from being a puppy to a full grown fur baby! Charles has also grown up his entire life with dogs running around his house. Please do keep in mind that we are dog sitters not dog trainers... If your pooch is destructive or disobedient; please let us know before hand, those kind of surprises are not always fun. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. About: My whole life I have been into only 1 thing! And that is animals. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at a local horse rescue everyday after school and by the age of 18 I was volunteering at my local SPCA feeding and walking dogs. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill for 4yrs and graduated with honors and received my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I studied many different training techniques with both horses and small animals, I even learned how to clicker train a chicken! ;) I’ve taken classes in care, management, training, behavior issues and many more. After graduation I became a riding instructor and horse trainer at a near by stable. I now run my own business as an equine dentist which leaves me with tons of extra time as I usually only schedule trips 1-2x a week! I currently have 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 really friendly German Shepherds, small Maltese, a ball python, and a Quaker Parrot named Echo. I have my own business! As an equine dentist I normally can only visit farms when owners are home so that means most weekend days are spent doing that while during the weekdays I’m totally free! Yard behind the house for the dogs, it is fenced off. We own a 3 bedroom so plenty of room for more animals! I am right in town so I can take dogs for walks or to the park. I share my house with my bf and his 10yr old sister who is my foster daughter. Also a huge animal person!

About: Update: though I am no longer a FT pet sitter, and I’ve returned to work in Liverpool 10-7p M-R/8-5p Friday, I still love to take clients when I can! — I always have waste bags, dog treats, and carriers with me. I have common vet meds memorized. I own plastic syringes. I’m a part of a group that provides emergency wildlife transport & rescue. I don’t scare easily if at all, and I know how to keep your pet, and myself safe— most importantly! I will care for your pet with so much patience, empathy, care, space (if needed), cuddles (if they are asking for it), or whatever is appropriate. Animals can do no wrong out of evil or malice in my eyes, they just need guidance and love and help! My biggest flaw as a sitter is that I tend to over communicate as a baseline — usually out of confirming their health / safety first — but I can discern what is an emergency and send summarized updates (i.e. by night or by weekend if housesitting longterm, for example.) I have done long term dog walking and dog sitting for a few local families in the Cortland area. They love me and I love them and their pups! About: Hi! I have taken care of my friend’s dogs for 8 years, while they’re out of town or just at work, from puppies to adults, and it’s a lot of fun! I work full time with a food delivery service, but I’m all over town all day and can be super flexible on when I need to take breaks As far as safety goes, I always walk dogs on a leash, and treat them with the same love and care as if they’re my own. I am happy to follow care instructions for any clients

About: I have grown up with animals my whole life. Between dogs, cats and horses I have bathe, fed and taken care of them all. I enjoy being around all different types of animals. I am working part time from 3pm-7pm which will give me plenty of time during the day to take care of your pup or kitty! In a clients home I will follow their instructions on how to take care of their animal as well as provide and fun and playful environment for them!

About: Well hello everybody! I have owned and cared for cats my whole life! I would consider myself an expert even with the most challenging kitties and cats of all ages. Most of the cats I have had as pets have been special needs as well so please don’t think your little fur baby is too “difficult” for me! Also, I have been professionally taking care of pets all of my whole life. at most I’ve had 15 cats, 4 dogs, 1 turtle and 1 lizard. poop doesn’t scare me and neither does piddle! I have also had a plethera of pets that had special needs. therefore, if your pet requires special care, I am 100% willing to do that to ensure that you’re comfortable and that your fur-baby is too ☺️ Elderly pets are no worry. If your pet sprays I don’t wish to board them mainly because I don’t want their potty scent throwing off my animals. I have 3 cats of my own at my house. if your pet doesn’t agree with cats boarding probably won’t be the best solution for you! I have a completely open schedule that allows me to be around for you and your pet needs almost everyday of the week. I’m awake around the clock and don’t mind working with odd hours either! I would refer to the pet owners wants, wishes & concerns and of course treat them like as if they were my own little fur baby!
About: I love animals of all kinds! Dogs are my favorite. I like them more than people. I had a Weimeraner for nearly 15 years and I miss him everyday. Dog sitting has been very theroputic for me. Im not working at this time. I'm out of work until further notice do to a repedative motion injury to my right arm. I am available Monday- Friday. I live in an apartment house located near a school. I have a back yard but it is not fenced in. It's a very nice area to walk dogs.

“One of the big reason why I decided to go with Arya for my 3 year old Lab, Bubbles, is the way he explicitly explained about the expectations and facts, how we as customers should expect him to host. Hosting a pup may be easy but understanding the psyche, taking measures to ensure all dogs are safe needs skills and that sets Arya apart. Few weeks before hosting, I took Bubbles for a meet and greet, only with Arya. He introduced Enzo and Igor to me as well, but, only after Bubbles was in the car. It gave me a wonderful feeling how much he cared about not just his pups but mine too. The stay- Arya is a brilliant and talented host and has been updating me with many videos and pictures about the walks, food and stays. He diligently walked Bubbles everyday. As Bubbles is a black lab, he was being mindful of the heat and took him out for walks at night. I was impressed how much he cares and loves the pups he is boarding. Overall it was a great experience and I am sure Bubbles will love to spend more time with Arya. I would highly recommend Arya for your pups. I have already decided to go with Arya and use his services henceforth.”
