She spent a lot of time with us during our initial meet and greet. She answered all our questions and allowed our dogs to hang out in her backyard and just really reassured us that she will love them the same way we do. She communicated regularly while we were gone and sent pictures and videos. What I also appreciated is that she is flexible with drop off and pick up times. About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was ten years old, and I have seventeen years of hands-on experience as a dog owner and caregiver in my adulthood. Family, friends, and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their dogs. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, including puppy training and reinforcing established routines. I am comfortable administering medications and caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and I am CPR certified. My own dog was my baby and truly like a son to me. We spent seventeen years together before he recently passed away in April. He traveled with me, went everywhere with me, and was a huge part of my life. Being a devoted dog owner myself taught me how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care. I will treat your dog with the same love, patience, attention, and respect I gave my own. I work full-time during the week, so I am primarily available for boarding and daycare on weekends and holidays, when I can devote plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. If your dog is comfortable being home alone during my workday, weekday care may also be possible, and we can discuss your dog's individual routine and needs beforehand. When I am caring for your dog, I want their normal routine to remain as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, bathroom breaks, and bedtime routines. I live in a quiet home with a securely fenced backyard where your dog can safely spend time outside. I will only host 3 small or 2 medium dogs at a time. Dogs are welcome on my couches and beds, and if your dog normally sleeps with you, they are welcome to sleep with me too. I want my home to feel like their home while they are staying with me. I believe you know your dog better than anyone, so I will follow your care instructions closely. That includes feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, training routines, house rules, and any special needs or preferences. About: Certified vet assistant and experienced kennel worker. My first job with dogs was at a fun little daycamp/boarding place called Camp Bow-Wow. I gained a lot of experience in handling and training. The enviroment I worked in was often filled with dogs running around a huge play yard, and it was my job to keep the peace (making sure they don’t fight, hump, or eat poop). During my time there I attended vet assistance courses at Bosces and earned a certification. I worked at an animal hospital in Oyster Bay, then in Woodbury. I’ll soon be leaving my current job (sanitation) to come back into the pet care business, which I enjoy far more. My schedule will open up tremendously by the 20th, until then I am readily available for afternoons. Im also good with cats, as long as they’re friendly!

About: I started off babysitting my neighbors children and then over time they started trusting me with their pets too. I would drop by their houses while they were away and feed their dogs or cats and make sure they went to the bathroom and take them on walks. I’ve taken care of puppies, small dogs, medium dogs, and once a Great Dane. I also take care of cats! I work part time right now so I have plenty of time to watch your pups! I’m available for dog boarding weekdays and dog walking everyday. I have a fenced yard, two medium size dogs and one little dog for your pup to play with! In the morning I feed them breakfast around 6-7am and dinner around 5-6pm. We go on morning and evening walks and my dogs love the car so we’ll drive around with the windows down on the weekends!

We like to play catch and go to the dog parks together. Both of my dogs are up to date on vaccines. They love medium to big dogs and not as good with small dogs. Pi loves to cuddle and Jinx can play all day! They are really friendly and sweet. We have pillows and couches laying around and a fenced yard with lots of fetching balls that they can play in. About: I grew up in a house full of pets and have volunteered at various pet rescues. Now, 51 years later, through every chapter of my life, milestones, joys, and losses, there has always been a pet by my side. I can’t imagine a home without the sound of paws, the comfort of companionship, or the simple, grounding presence of an animal. I work full time from home and am happy to be flexible to any schedule. About: I grew up with golden retrievers my whole life, and now have a spunky German shepherd mix added into our family. I am a highly trained veterinary receptionist of going on 5 years with extreme background knowledge of veterinary medicine. Will be able to tell beginning signs if your pet is unwell in my care. I work full-time as a veterinary receptionist but have three days off during the week as I work a long shifts. Fridays, I am off early at 3pm! About: As w most people here i have a love for animals and am on track for a career in veterinary medicine. I have a dog of my own but also have a wide range of skills with many different animals (rodent, reptiles, various exotics, etc) due to my experience working in and completing a two year BOCES program for veterinary medicine assisting which included dogs and cats ofc. About: Dogs have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I worked as a dog walker while I was in college and I loved it! I also always loved being around animals since I was a kid, I remember when I was young, my family always had a lot of dogs especially baby ones, and I always hung out with them and took care of them. About: Certified vet assistant and experienced kennel worker. My first job with dogs was at a fun little daycamp/boarding place called Camp Bow-Wow. I gained a lot of experience in handling and training. The enviroment I worked in was often filled with dogs running around a huge play yard, and it was my job to keep the peace (making sure they don’t fight, hump, or eat poop). During my time there I attended vet assistance courses at Bosces and earned a certification. I worked at an animal hospital in Oyster Bay, then in Woodbury. I’ll soon be leaving my current job (sanitation) to come back into the pet care business, which I enjoy far more. My schedule will open up tremendously by the 20th, until then I am readily available for afternoons. Im also good with cats, as long as they’re friendly!

About: Animals are family here! I provide patient, loving care tailored to each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level, with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention. I have experience working with rescue organizations and offer foster care to animals requiring special attention. Currently in service dog training courses with my Australian Shepard. I work from home most days, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m only away from home for about six hours on two days each week. Outside of work, I spend much of my time with my animals, gardening, and enjoying our little homestead—especially when the weather is nice! I have a fully fenced yard plus a separate secured area for my chickens. My own dogs, cats, and chickens live here, but visiting pets are always supervised and safely separated when needed.
