About: As a lifelong dog lover, I know just how special the bond between a person and their dog can be. About a year ago, I unexpectedly lost my own boy to a sudden heart condition. It broke my heart, and for a while, I couldn’t imagine opening my home to another dog of my own. I do, however, miss having dogs in my life—their personalities, their companionship, and all the joy they bring. That’s what led me to Rover! I’d love the opportunity to give your pup some extra love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of patience, affection, and care. I follow leash and cleanup laws and whatever your pet rules are for your fur babies! I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule! I'm most available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with plenty of weekend availability. Between the hours of 8am - 4pm are best for me. I have a fenced, dedicated dog park far removed from main roads with plenty of grass. I always have doggy doo bags available for cleanup.

“Samantha and her partner Zachary took fabulous care of our two dogs for three days. They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. When we went to pick them up, it was obvious that both dogs really liked their caregivers. What more can one hope for in someone taking care of their dogs? They also made sure he got plenty of playtime and socialization with other dogs, which was especially great for our high energy puppy. Amanda was extremely responsive and sent daily pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she watches.
