About: We have had pets in my family my entire life.. Started off with a cat, then two. My older sister begged for a dog and we finally got one. Now my parents have two dogs, and one cat. We've had birds, fish, guinea pigs, frogs, and a bearded dragon... I recently moved out of my parents house and am craving the love from pets. I used to help my aunt care for her cats when she got older. I would pet sit for friends and neighbors growing up and Rover is allowing me to get back into that. I take myself for walks because I'm not good at sitting still and they would be much more enjoyable with a pal! I am working remotely and part time. I am a social worker so I meet with clients via tele-health. I do have a set schedule, but it allows for flexibility and I am not currently accepting new clients so this won't change much. I am renting a house so cannot accept pets into it- as the home owners trusting me with their indoor and outdoor cats. I have always been very careful in other people's homes- trying not to leave a trace- unless it is a note about how things went!

About: My life has always been centered around animals. Growing up I had dogs, cats, and even started riding horses at 8 years old. As I got older I realized there’s nothing better than giving back to the animals that do so much for us. I now work at a trusted animal hospital as a veterinary assistant and I’m in school to become a veterinary technician. I have experience with many different animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. As a veterinary assistant I have a schedule that changes by week, but I typically have weekends and one or two weekdays off. In order to prioritize time with your fur baby I only set my availability to my days off, or walks after I get out of work. Safety and comfort are priorities for me. For pets it can be scary when their owners are away so I always take the necessary steps to ease their minds. I will treat your pets exactly how I would want mine to be treated.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. Part of my business is even making pet products like bow ties, bandanas, toys, healthy treats, signs and organic paw wax. I run my boarding and daycare full time. It is what i live every day. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉

About: Grew up working on a farm. I'm currently a board member of a local non-profit cat rescue. Have worked with animals a majority of my life. I work seasonally from December till April otherwise have open availability for any types of needs. Can cater to just about any request that is given. I have a large yard that is not fenced in but a chain with plenty of room for running. I currently own two dogs myself which can either co mingle with your puppy or I have space available for them to be separate as well.
About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old! I love having pets in my home and making them a part of my family. My dog loves every dog she has ever met and loves to have a playmate! If you bring your pet to my house they will be treated like one of my family members! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30-4, but my husband works from home and I am home all day during the weekends. My husband also loves dogs and has plenty of free time during his work day to take walks and give lots of love! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for running. We are on a cul de sac so there is very little traffic in my part of the neighborhood. My home also has several baby gates to make sure that your pet is safe if I have to leave them in the house for a short amount of time.

About: I have always been surrounded by dogs and cats and could not imagine living without any! I have my own dog named Bellatrix and a kitten named Donut For the next month I will only be working two week days a week rotating Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday and then I will switch to a full time WFH position Monday-Friday with availability for walks/drop ins in the morning and companionship throughout the day at my home if it is a good fit. About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life primarily for friends and family. I’ve taken care of german shepards, labradors, pit bulls, and many more. I’ve even more recently fostered a kitten for a few months as she waited to be adopted. I will make sure your furry friend is played with, fed, walked, snuggled (if they like that) and most importantly loved! I work as a waitress so my hours vary depending on the week. Usually shifts are 5 hours but can go up to about 10 hours if I am out on a double. I average about 30 hours a week. I can house up to two dogs in my home, however my backyard is only partially fenced in. I will not take dogs from different families/bookings at the same time. At home pets would be allowed anywhere in the house and we have a nice wooded area in the backyard. If I am visiting your home I would be able to accomodate whatever you are comfortable with.

I had never used this before so I had to make an account and then judge every available sitters profiles before reaching out. It is what it is, we have to judge the sitters on what kind of person they are being the reality is we know so little about them behind close doors. I reached out to Brittany. She has many great reviews over a long period of time which is a great indicator of being a good sitter. More importantly, she has really good energy and puts out good vibrations. She seems like a good wholesome person and that is the most important part when picking someone to leave your pup with. Everything went great from dropping him off to picking him up. “Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”
“Tatiana was wonderful. I felt so safe with Lola there and I could tell by the pictures I was being sent that Lola herself was very comfortable there as well. She clicked right away with everyone there (dogs and people), and snuggled into her own little spot. All of the positive messages and pics helped a lot, but I could tell that Tatiana and her daughter were dog lovers and that they had been doing this for a while. Thanks, guys, for making Lola feel so comfortable and cared for there, which made me feel a thousand percent better about that during what I had to do while she was away (a funeral). And I was able to add another day because we were all too exhausted and sick to pick her up at the normal time, which was a lifesaver. Tatiana was so gracious and helpful! “Leaving our Layla with Peg was so comforting. We knew when we met her that she was the right choice to watch her while we were away. Layla got lots of love and lots of exercise.
