About: I've had my own cat since the third grade. My cat had kittens when I was 14 and I had to feed them formula. My first cat had leukemia and her mom didnt feed her so we also had to feed her formula. The house was cleaner than I expected upon return since the shavings/hay can get dusty but Kayla obviously put in the extra time to sweep up. There were a few communication gaps (was not notified that kibble was running low until the bag was down to its last feeding, use of Rover cards only without any actual updates on pet status) but overall I am happy with my first use of this website for pet care.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. From 16 until 25 I worked first hand with animals in an animal hospital and boarding facility. I have experience with all sizes and can spot any abnormal behaviors immediately. I am currently a stay at home parent with lots of free time to care for your pet. I have 2 puppies that are walked 3 times a day and are given regular potty breaks and play time. I do not have a fenced in yard but I would never let a dog off lead. We have a very large yard with multiple leads if they like outside time. My 3 children will keep them busy and my 2 puppies love the company. My 2 like to hide but have never met a dog they don't like. We also have extra crates to help your fur baby feel comfortable and safe if they get overwhelmed.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine, and I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

She took the time to get to know our dog’s personality and little quirks, which immediately put us at ease. It honestly felt like our dog was on their own little vacation. What really stood out was the level of detail and effort. Becky and her daughter went above and beyond in every way. Whether it was sticking to her feeding and supplement schedules, making sure our dog got plenty of love and attention, extra attention to her needs (it was a change of seasons aka shedding time and they gave her lots of extra care and brushing to keep her comfortable!), it was all so appreciated. “Lindsey is a great dog sitter! I wasn't able to have my dog Zoe with me for Christmas this year, so she got to spend it with Lindsey and her family. Zoe was right at home there on "the farm" and really enjoyed being part of the family. She made some new friends with the chickens and horses and Lindsey's two dogs who were very friendly with Zoe. I highly recommend Lindsey if you have a dog who likes to be social and likes small children and other animals. Thank you Lindsey for taking such good care of my girl!”

Carmella had a pleasant overnight stay with Joan and Duncan. They were very communicative, sending me updates via text on how she was doing and pictures of her playing with her toys and cuddling.
