About: I've been caring for dogs since middle school, including over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, Aubrey. I've also had family, friends, and neighbors rely on me to walk, feed, groom, and care for their pets. Over the years, I've gained experience with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, including Golden Retrievers, mixed breeds, Yorkshire Terriers, hounds, Chihuahuas, and Corgis. During walks, I use safe handling practices and stay aware of the pet's surroundings, other animals, and potential hazards. About: I’ve taken care of cats ever since I was 15. I always grew up with dogs and cats at home, and have watched cats for family and friends whenever they leave for vacations. I love playing with cats of all ages, and have experience with caring for young kittens as well as elderly cats. I currently have 2 cats at home and love them dearly! I found my one cat abandoned outside of a school when he was 5 weeks old, and this has given me SO much experience caring for young kittens. About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals around. I have had many dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits, rats, and horses over the years. I have a degree in Equestrian Science and have taken care of animals my entire adult life. I have always been an avid hiker as well and love to take the pups on walks around the area. About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have multiple years experience caring for dogs, cats, pocketpets, rabbits, fish, parakeets, reptiles and chickens. I also have experience providing care in a rabbit/cat/small animal rescue and in stables so I am very well rounded when it comes to all manner of pet care. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing, etc. Currently my schedule is generally Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with a bit of leeway here and there. I can do walks and drop ins on evenings and weekends. Knowing what your pet needs in advance makes it easier for me to set my upcoming schedule to accommodate them. And as an added bonus when it comes to working from home: House sitting is a breeze! I am able to give tons of attention during the work day and use my breaks to take pups out for walks and play time. For my own pets I have two cats and guinea pigs. The guinea pigs have a large cage in my spare room/office and there is plenty of room to board other pocket pets if need be. For other people's pets I will absolutely treat them with the same care and attention as my own. She was thorough in understanding his feeding/sleeping/bathroom needs and sent pics of him during his stay! She was easy to reach at all times and responded very quickly. She took him out for walks and played with him indoors when the weather got bad. We are grateful for such a caring thorough sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her to watch our Remy again. “She is truly amazing. She instantly made me feel at ease leaving our baby. Very communicative, daily updates with photos and videos. She goes above and beyond. Our baby suffers from allergies, and she was great with keeping up medications and updates on symptoms. It was his first birthday not at home with us, and she went out of her way to ensure his day was special and got him special birthday treats. She made him feel comfortable, very loving and truly caring. I can tell she has a big heart, and really has a love for animals, I saw she really cared. It was so nice to see, she eased my mind, especially as I tend to over worry about him, and he was very happy with her as so were we. We would DEFINITELY rebook. I cannot thank her enough for her care, love, attentiveness she had for our baby Guinness.”

“Barbara was fantastic with Nola on her two week stay! Barbara kept us updated and sent videos of Nola living her best life, playing, running, hiking and falling asleep exhausted afterwards. Barbara helped Nola by teaching her to socialize with other dogs appropriately which she definitely needed. Nola was treated like she was part of the family. I highly recommend Barbara to provide a loving home to your dog.”
