About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of different dogs. Parents, friends and family have asked me to care for them while they’re gone. My childhood dog was boxer so have a lot of experience with that breed and I have a pit bull terrier of my own. I am currently home full time, so I’ll have a lot of free time to play and care for your fur babies. Considering I have lots of free time having a dog or a couple dogs to care for isn’t a problem for! I love all animals and treat them like my own! I have a partially fenced yard and a long 100+ ft chain that I could clip onto your dogs collar so they can roam around without getting lose/ running away, they will have their own food and water bowls and be taken out as needed. If your dog needs to be in a crate I have two at home that I could use. I also have a pup of my own that your dog can play with.

My weekly routine revolves around them and their school schedules, but for the most part I am at home. I have a large fenced in backyard in a safe neighborhood. I only book dogs in time blocks of 5 hours, so I am never over crowded when it comes to boarding or day care. I like to be sure each pet is taken care of personally and effectively. Pet-Sitting: Often this service for me changes based on owner preference. It requires more in depth detail about the home life of the pet. One reason for this is to ensure I am not interrupting any routines the pet may have. Boarding & Day Care: I treat all pets as if they were my very best friend. We have tv time together (Dog TV), we go on two 30 minute walks within the 5 hour time block. We even eat meals together. Being that my yard is unfenced I personally walk the dogs on leash for 30-45 minutes. Meals for pets are based on owner specifications. Overnight boarding being different in a sense of they get one night walk before bed time/wind down time. They are uncrated (unless the owner specifies to do so), so they have full use of the living area and pets are allowed to be on the furniture purchased for them (Although I am not new to waking up and them being on the couch!)

About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. From poodles to labs, and from russian blues to siamese, I grown to love them all. We have motion sensor lights and camera in both the front and backyard. We also have baby gates up all around the house with garbages and cabinets all baby proofed as well! Super safe environment, nothing unsafe they can get into. We can crate or just separate and give them their own space with baby gates. We also have a nice cool finished basement that’s set up like a spare bedroom with king size bed and tv if that’s more their style :)

It all comes down to the first meeting. Not the first job. I want to know what you, your pets, and your house is like so I can do my very best to be attentive and observent in caring for them. This includes setting up a person emergency plan for common emergency care should it arise. Preparedness beats panic after all!
