I have a 6 year old Great Pyrenees mix that I’ve had since he was a puppy, and he’s about 180 pounds, so I’m very comfortable with large dogs. I’ve also cared for numerous dogs of all sizes for friends, family, and neighbors. About: I have had dogs, cats, puppies in my life since I was born. I have had the pleasure of training all types of dogs in many different areas. When I was younger my family used to always take trips up to Marthas Vineyard, we always had to leave our dogs at a kennel which we realized later on was not the best thing to do for our dogs. Emotionally/mentally we could tell it had taken a toll on them, so we started leaving them home with Pet Sitters. That was the best decision we had made. I want to be able to provide the same love and care that our pet sitters have provided in the past, but for your pet! Im currently working privately as a Personal Trainer and a Hypnotherapist Practitioner so my schedule is quite flexible. I also offer Reiki for both people and pets (Dogs, Cats, Horses)!!! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
About: I have a certain way with dogs. Even the most skittish chihuahua would find it difficult to hate me! My sister's dog, Marvin, is one of these skittish chihuahuas. At first he hated me. Now we're best friends. I have a soft spot for pitbulls. I am available seven days a week from 7am to 10pm. I am currently a student at Iona College working on my masters in childhood education. The only thing I love more than teaching (besides golf) is spending time with animals. I try to feel out the animal's environment and their relationship to it. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, but didn’t truly realize my appreciation for them until high school when I started pet sitting (over ten years ago!) I would watch my friends’ pets when they were on vacation, and felt compelled to make the pets’ stay with me a vacation as well 🐶😊. Since I started watching dogs I always considered them my PIC (partner in crime.). I take them with me on all my adventuress! They meet all my family and friends, and I have even taken a dog on a weekend trip to Block Island (with owners permission of course!) These days, I am home most of the day. I have a small business, which I run out of my home. I am home for majority of the day, but often have to step out for no more than 2 hours at a time. I typically give dogs 2 long walks (30-40 minutes) a day, and take them out in the yard and small walks down the street at least 5 times a day. They get potty breaks every 2-3 hours. I am a VERY active person. I am a marathon runner and avid hiker. No matter what your dog’s activity level is, I will be sure to tucker them out🐶😂. My typical morning and evening walk for dogs is a mile and a half around the reservoir trail in my back yard. I am more than happy to adjust to match your dog’s needs. I live on a small private street. My family and dear neighbors are all nearby. My large yard, close knit community, woods, reservoir trails and loving family truly is a paradise for dogs🐶😊❤️ My schedule varies every day. I can be in and out throughout the day, but never away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a a time. I am typically home for the day by 3pm. Some days I am home all day! It really depends on the week. I live alone and have no pets. I live in a private street with lots of land to explore. I never take dogs off leash when we are outside.

My current Lab is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover is a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

About: Ive had multiple pets as long as ive been alive both cats and dogs! In high school I volunteered with a small dog adoption center in New Hampshire called Mary's dogs, where I worked with older dogs and puppy's in need of homes. I also took and animal science class in my Junior year and was dog CPR certified. I know basic animal first aid as well. Overall I absolutely adore animals of any kind and am willing to work with any pets! This is currently my only job, so I am available almost any time to spend time with and take care of your fuzzy family members. My preferred bookings is after 10am but I absolutely can make exceptions! I currently live with 2 dogs, a Labrador retriever and a Golden retriever, as well as 2 cats. About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting all my life. I also fostered a mid-size mixed terrier. I have two cats of my own. I love how all animals have amazing personalities! I can do dog walking, cat check ins with waste clean-up or over nights which ever you may need. I know how to administer meds to both cats and dogs. It is so important to have your furry loved ones pampered while you are away! I am retired so my availability is flexible. I also enjoy sending photos of your four legged loved one while you are away! I have also watched chickens, turtles, guinea pigs, snakes and iguanas. Looking forward to hearing from you! I am retired so I have a flexible schedule! I can go during the day or stay overnight at your home. Whichever you feel most comfortable with would work! When I come to your house, besides walking/feeding, I do waste cleanup as well. Of course, playing is a must! About: I've been surrounded by pets my whole life. Growing up, I cared for many cats and dogs. I don’t have any animals at the moment. However, I did care for my cat, Susan, and Siberian Husky, Luke, for 15+ years before they both crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019. I know the tender, loving care that’s required to take in an animal and I’m sensitive to the fact that these kittens & pups are your babies! Each dog/cat/pet has a different personality and set of needs based on their breed or lifestyle and I’m prepared to take on any challenge. I’ve had prior experience home/dog/cat sitting and my schedule is pretty flexible. My phone is on hand at all times and I’m more than willing to send you pics throughout our time together! Currently, I have a flexible schedule and am looking to care for cats and pups to fill my days with more furry friends. 🐱 🐶 When I had pets at home, I would care for them by taking them on walks and playing their favorite games. I installed an electric fence for my dog so he could run around and enjoy the outdoors when I couldn’t walk him.
About: I have a certain way with dogs. Even the most skittish chihuahua would find it difficult to hate me! My sister's dog, Marvin, is one of these skittish chihuahuas. At first he hated me. Now we're best friends. I have a soft spot for pitbulls. I am available seven days a week from 7am to 10pm. I am currently a student at Iona College working on my masters in childhood education. The only thing I love more than teaching (besides golf) is spending time with animals. I try to feel out the animal's environment and their relationship to it. If the animal needs space, I'll provide it. Though, I love nothing more than a good snuggle with a cat or dog. My lap is always available.
