About: I had a childhood cat, named Midnight for 5 years. I also took care of the other 3 cats in my parent's home. One that was a short-legged cat named Mufasta and gave birth to a litter of kittens that I was also in charge of. There is an old friend who I watched their Maine Coon inside my home for a month. I only had my Ava at the time and had to keep them separated due to the Maine Coon being violent towards other animals and my children. Even though it was rough and suffered deep injuries in my left leg in the end. I stuck through keeping the cat for that entire month because my friend needed time to get a new home situated.

About: Dogs have always been apart of my life. I volunteered in a service dog program called 4Paws4Patriots and in doing so I got to learn so much about dog care/handling. Ever since then, dogs have always owned a piece of my heart, I just had to figure out how to follow my passion. Which led me to American k-9 interdiction (AK9I), where I took a 13 week course and became a professional dog trainer. I now have three dogs and own my own dog training business (Big Paws Protection). I have owned a Siberian husky, German Shepard, and an Alaskan Malamute. I currently own a Belgian Malinios. A lot of work have gone into them and still go into them. I have a flexible work schedule. I usually work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but it varies. Typically, I work long hours around 10 or 12. About: I have been caring for pets my entire life, but only for 18 years professionally. I have worked as a dog trainer, dog groomer, a veterinary assistant and a boarding clinic employee. Currently, I teach Puppy classes, Obedience 101, and Rally at the Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club, I am an emergency foster for bottle puppies/kittens for the Humane Society, and I am home almost all the time. I have many years of experience with dogs, cats, and livestock animals. I am also capable of caring for birds, fish, and reptiles. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats who are so very loved and spoiled. I let my own dogs out every 2-4 hours and take them on 2 walks a day while its cooler outside. I do training routine practices with them at least once a day because they are active in classes at the local dog club. I can care for dogs at your home or they are welcome to come to mine! At this time, I am flexible with what works best for you.
