“Brandon and his family not only exceeded my expectations, they completely wiped away any reservations I had about this type of service. I had booked Brandon for drop-in visits to my home to look after my cat, Ciri. I was worried leaving my little feline child with strangers for the weekend, and I had looked for alternatives for about a week before turning to Rover. Now I think my cat may actually like Brandon's family more than me lol I will no longer worry about going out of town for business because I know I can just jump on here and ask Brandon to take care of her. Not only should you not worry about hiring him, I would heavily encourage you to do so.”
About: I am very passionate about cats, and own 3 myself. :) I have some veterinary clinic experience, so I know how to care for any animals that may need prescriptions or active treatments (including cat baths!). Additionally if you don't mind, I have taught my cats to do tricks (like shaking hands), which I can teach your kitties if they are social enough !! Wendy handled the situation calmly, professionally, and with genuine care and compassion. It meant so much to know our dog was in such capable hands during a stressful moment. “We are so happy and fortunate to have found Vivian (and her husband Richard!) to look after Macho! They are so kind, considerate, thoughtful people and they were so loving towards Macho! At the meet/greet, they gave us a tour of their extremely clean and organized home with comfy sofas, rugs and a lot of natural sunlight (AND an outdoor fenced area for outdoor play time!), asked very detailed questions, and what we noticed the most was that they focused their attention not on me or my husband, but rather on Macho. They got on the floor to get to know Macho right away. Vivian accommadated our super early drop off requests (once again she is just so kind and considerate for helping us with this) for each day. During each day that Macho was with her, she gave us a TON of text messages with pictures and videos (loved it!). Also Vivian makes a mean and delicious cup of coffee, once again, she is just so nice! For each day, Vivian provided Macho with different activities like play time outside, short training sessions, nap time, lounge time, even help manage and watch important offfice/computer work being done by Richard. Macho always had something interesting to do. On top of dropping Macho off early, we had to pick him up on the late side which was absolutely no problem with Vivian. Macho was not overly tired after each day with Vivian and every morning looked forward to seeing them again. At the last minute towards the end of our booking, we had to ask Vivian if she could PICK UP and DROP off Macho early and late each day. And guess what, Vivian said... NO PROBLEM. So we really have nothing more to add other than stressing again that Vivian and Rich are kind and terrific people who really gave Macho so much attention and care. We are so fortunate and lucky to have met them on Rover. We will without hesitation go to Vivian to look after Macho in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I love pups and understand the attention dogs need when their owners are not around. I am a stay at home mom to two older children. I am mostly home and if I’m gone I use doggy cameras if I leave so your pup will always have eyes on them. I have fence large backyard with a pool. I have two pups one who is 2 so he loves to play with others pups. I also have two daughters and husband who love to spoil all pups in the home. Your pup will always have lots of love and attention. There is designated large living room area just for the pets to stay in if I ever leave the house. Dogs are let out to go potty every hour.

I walked dogs at the NSPCA, fostered and cared for cats at Homeward Bound (PetSmart), Vets For Abandoned Pets and currently help at dog adoption events for Pawsitive Difference, occasionally fostering if I do not have a Rover dog. I am retired and enjoy taking walks, golf cart rides, watching movies and puttering around the house with a "helper" 😁. I do not seem to be able to force dogs into crates 😂 at night. I'm sorry if this is a deal breaker for you. I will text you pics of your pet (s) vacation. 🏖 In Sun City Summerlin, I have many grassy dog parks to take your leashed dog to. I don't let your dog interact with others to insure safety. I provide filtered RO water. I don't believe in overfeeding and your overweight pup may even loose a little weight in our fun, active home. It is no problem to give pills, liquid medication and eye meds as I have done this in rescue work.

About: I was raised with large purebred dogs, and now currently own 3 very happy cats! I have some veterinary clinic experience, so I know how to care for any animals that may need prescriptions or active treatments (including cat baths!). I have lots of experience with dog training, mainly for tricks - but I can also teach proper leash training and basic commands. I do not enable puppy behavior, even if it is super cute. I also used to foster a feral cat for 6 months before finding him his fur-ever home, so I can also acclimate with some spicy kitties! I work from home as a freelance artist! My own pets are set up with automatic feeders, water fountains, and automatic litter boxes, so I'm able to provide pet care for others virtually any day of the week, any time! I have a lot of flexibility. I believe communication is key! Especially with cats, which are quite sensitive to environmental changes, getting details on normal routine/habits are essential for seamless pet care experiences for everyone involved. I will be asking clients about their typical routine (including food + walking routines), any possible medical-related concerns, as well as how often they would like updates on their beloved fur babies.

“Overall super pawsitive experience! Honey and Buzz had fun. A few days before the boarding, Honey got a little infection and had to be put on antibiotics and anti-inflammatories and with last min notice Sheena said it would be no problem and made sure honey got her meds! Sheena also does have grooming packages if you want your little to be nice a fresh when you bring them home! Love it!”

“We left our furballs at Andrea and Douglas’ place for a few days and you can tell that they received such great care! Communication was stellar and we received frequent updates with lots of pics and vids making us feel at ease that our pups were receiving the same care we would have provided! The home and yard was not only beautiful but very clean and “pup proof” so our doggies had space to roam around in safely.
