“This review is long overdue! Gina and Erik watched our two golden retrievers while in Tahoe for a family gathering in May 2023. They treated our dogs like their own and sent us lots of updates, photos and videos of our dogs during their stay. Our dogs looked SO HAPPY and clearly LOVED Gina and Erik. During a thunderstorm, one of our dogs was scared and Gina made a rub of essentials oils to help calm him, and Erik gave him hugs on the couch. About: Dogs are part of the family in my home, and I’ll treat yours the same way. I have a large yard with plenty of room to play and relax, and dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable inside (including cuddling up on the couch). I have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. My family includes a larger Labradoodle and a small Chihuahua/Terrier mix, both older, so I am also very comfortable with senior dogs and their needs. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, loved, and completely at home while they’re here. Pet care is already part of my everyday routine since I have dogs of my own. I work from home often and have plenty of flexibility for playtime, potty breaks, attention, and lots of cuddles. About: I’m a small-breed dog mom to two friendly Shih Tzus. I’ve trained both of them from puppyhood, so I’m experienced in teaching calm behavior, basic obedience, and creating a well-structured environment for small dogs. I’m happy to reinforce good manners. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance, and we go there every other day for playtime and socializing. Leonard and Taylor are both gentle, well-behaved, and great companions for visiting pups. My home is calm, clean, and ideal for small-breed dogs who enjoy a safe and friendly environment. I’m available full time for boarding on weekends and holidays. On weekdays, my two Shih Tzus—Leonard (born April 2024) and Taylor (born March 2025)—stay home from about 10am to 6pm. They are used to a calm routine and do very well together. If your dog is comfortable being without a human for part of the day, weekday boarding can also work. I live in a house with a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance. We go there every other day for playtime and sniff walks. Both Leonard and Taylor are friendly, gentle Shih Tzus who make great company for visiting small dogs. My home is clean, safe, and perfect for small breeds. I also have both small and medium crates available if you prefer your dog crated.

About: I’ve been relied on for about two years now to house sit and dog sit for two different families consistently. I fed them, took them on walks and made sure they had what they needed. I also have my own dog so I understand the love and care it takes for the pups! I am pretty flexible, mostly all day everyday ;). It might depend on the week, I have pretty open schedule. I take last minute requests! I make sure whatever the dog needs is taken care of. I like to know how much water and food to give them and when you usually give it to them. Just the regular routine and what the dogs need.

About: I have taken care of dogs, pretty much my whole life, and have experience with all sorts of dogs. From golden retrievers to dobermans, pit bulls, chihuahuas, and German shepherds, I have experience with all kinds of temperaments and dogs and am able to handle and care for all of them in the ways they need.
