About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.

Julie was very respectful of our home, always made sure our house was locked/alarmed when she left after the visit and treated our fur baby really well. About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: A little about me: I’ve had a dog by my side every day since I was six years old — dogs are an integral part of my life, not just something I do on the side. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, from tiny lap dogs to a 90-pound Labrador, and from bouncy puppies to dogs in their older years. Experience: My deepest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs. My Labrador had a series of health challenges, including three separate leg surgeries. I nursed him through every recovery, which meant walking him with a support sling until he was back on his feet. When he was later diagnosed with cancer, I cared for him through hospice at home — giving his daily medications and keeping him comfortable and loved right to the end. So if your older dog needs medication, a little mobility help, or just extra patience and gentleness, that’s something I genuinely know how to do. I’m just as comfortable with high-energy dogs. That same Labrador was a handful in his younger years, so I know what it takes to keep a strong, active dog happy and well-exercised. I also love puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need. I’m happy to walk more than one dog at a time, and I have experience with leash-reactive dogs — I know how to keep walks calm, controlled, and low-stress for a dog who needs a little extra management. Right now I share my home with two girls — a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix and a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier — so both ends of the age spectrum are part of my daily routine. Before them I’ve cared for several terriers and a Border Collie mix, among others. I walk my own dogs every single day and I’ll keep yours on a good routine too. My younger dog gets dedicated playtime with her toys, and my senior girl gets her medication right on schedule every other day. I keep that same consistency and attention for any dog in my care — sticking to your dog's normal feeding, walking, medication, and potty routine so their world stays steady while you're away. When I care for your dog in your home, safety comes first. I keep all doors and gates closed and latched, and I'm constantly aware of where your dog is — especially any time I'm heading in or out, so there's no chance of an escape. I follow whatever house rules and routines you set. I also treat your home with the same respect I give my own. When I dog-sat for family and friends, I kept their house tidy, watered their plants, and brought in mail while they were away. I will leave your home just as you left it, keep you updated with photos while you're gone, and communicate quickly about anything that comes up. About: My name is Julia! I’m new to Rover but not new to dog sitting! I have a dog named Dixie. Dixie is a Miniature Australian Shepherd and loves to play! We love to do everything together including car rides, going to the park, stores, walks, games, and enrichment activities! I have raised dogs my whole life but now I have Dixie. I am a huge worrier about leaving my dog with someone so I understand how important it is to have a safe place for your dog while you work or have vacations and that’s what I’m here for! I think it’s important to give dogs their best life possible 🤍 All dogs must be up-to-date on their flea and heartworm medicine. For Daycare: I currently work full time. I am off on Tuesdays so I can take some bookings on Tuesdays. I am pretty open on the weekends. When I go out, I bring Dixie everywhere with me, so I can bring yours too! For Boarding: I can take dogs for boarding, however on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays your dog would have to be crated for about 3-4 hours in the afternoon since no one will be home. Saturday and Sunday boarding I would be home all day! I have a fenced yard with certain areas blocked off that Dixie or other dogs should not go into. My gate is locked. I walk Dixie once or twice a day and play outside with her. I hangout inside when it’s hot out and play inside the house! I always make sure there is water and of course plenty of treats available!

About: I have taken care of neighbors dogs since I 10. Anytime they went out of town, they called me to make sure to feed them or bring them over to my house while their gone. I work part time as server and the rest of the time I work and go to school at home, leaving me with plenty of time to be your furry friends companion. I have a little dog park at my apartment, as well as plenty of space to walk the dogs around my building. I also offer to take care of your animals at your home if that’s what you prefer.
About: Mostly I’ve taken care of dogs and cats, including seniors, pups and kittens. I am sensitive to and will want to get them care if an emergency arises. I love to love them all. Presently I am flexible to meet pet parent needs. I do need 1 day notice for planning 🙂 and ensuring I am prepared for your pets. Presently I am able to provides services at your home only ( except for very young puppies and kittens who can stay with me if needed) -in your home I’m most familiar with cats and dogs. I am glad to keep your pets environment fresh during visits including waste clean up, hair brush or deshedding with your tools, refresh food, water bowls as needed. I will have non-toxic cleaners for hard surfaces if needed.

About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.
