About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.

I've worked with many kinds of dogs from 4 month old puppies to 15 year old seniors. I also have a senior dog, a yellow Labrador, 13 yrs. I love playing catch with the dogs and the cats I let them do their thing whether it's cuddling on the couch or if they are skiddish or shy I let them be until they are comfortable enough to be approached or to approach me. I also can give baths and trim nails! Need a sitter who has a big heart and a big yard? Call me! I have a semi flexible work schedule and I'm 10 mins from my house. I pop in and out during work hours and I'm home everyday and night 24/7 Cameras inside and out to keep an eye on the woof pack!! I am diligent on our daily schedule and bc of this the pups usually seem to get it after a day or two tops. I think sticking to a regimented schedule calms them almost immediately. Once they all have there “spot” where they sleep and eat the anxiety level instantly drops a few levels for every one of them. I have a large secure fenced in yard very open for running, playing catch or Frisbee, I can brush or bath any pet for you and I also offer nail trimming. Big bowls of fresh FILTERED water inside and out changed several times a day. I am diligent on dietary restrictions. Every day i make one on one time for each and every pup, they really love and appreciate it! i totally get that they need that time especially before bed. (I tuck them all in)

I am well trained with medicating pets, senior pets & nervous/anxious pets. Even though my days during the week are filled with meeting new dogs/cats or seeing my favorite patients, there’s always room for more love to give! I work full time during the week at the animal hospital (Monday-Thursday) but I am available on weekends for those that work or have plans :) I make sure the pet’s collar/leash are well secured on them so there is no chance for them to get loose while on a walk. I will make sure all gates are closed. As part of being a vet tech I am trained in trimming nails & expressing anal glands, as well as knowing if there is an issue that needs to be addressed by a doctor. About: I have a senior dog and a puppy (the best of both worlds). I also had a cat who unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge. I have experience with administering medicine for both dogs & cats as well as bottle feeding for kittens. Working on potty training for the puppy, but a little tough with a senior dog in the house (accidents happen a lot).
