“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

After having our normal boarding facility cancel on us due to overbooking before a vacation, I quickly visited rover to see if I could find a suitable match for Swift. About: I have always grown up with dogs. I’ve helped train my own and have been relied on to watch neighbors’ and friends’ over the years as well! I worked for a dog walking company for over a year. I am a graduating college student with a good bit of free time most days and will be free for most the summer to care for your pets. I will play, pet, and walk with your dogs as needed, and enjoy every second of it. If needed to be in a crate i will place a toy with them and provide a treat if allowed.

About: I have been in the animal care business my whole life! My mom used to run her own animal care business where I would go on all of her animal visits since I was in kindergarten. I trained my two puppies at age 10, have been volunteering at the local animal shelter for 3 years, and have started my own small clientele of dogs whom I care for through overnight stays for over a week, 3 check-ins a day for each dog, and lots of time for playing and cuddling to make sure they are happy and comfortable, while building their trust. I understand patience is key when caring for animals who see me as a new, unfamiliar face, and I always ensure the animals comfort is my top priority! My main gig at the moment is animal care, so I can build my own schedule/routine around the animal care bookings that I have for that week, so your pet will be my priority! In my clients homes, I make sure that the essentials like food and water are given, and I will make sure that there is nothing out that could harm them. My main focus is walking the dog in the start of my visit, and playing and winding down for rest time at the end, so they are able to rest and relax when I am not there/until their next visit. For cats, I would feed and refill their water, play with them, and provide affection depending on their personality and how comfortable they are. I will also clean out their litter.

About: Taking care of animals brings me so much joy! I live at the beach and love walking dogs through my neighborhood to the beach. I am comfortable controlling big, strong dogs on walks. I grew up with 2 dogs and have always loved animals. My sister is a veterinarian and has taught me a lot. She is on call if your animal has any health issues. I’m in a career transition right now, so your business so greatly appreciated ❤️ I am a yoga instructor working part time, so I have a lot of time for your pets! My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)

About: I have had dogs since I was a kid. I enjoy there company and since retired now I could not ask for a better thing to do every day. The unconditional love for pets is the best medicine in life. I walk everyday about 5 miles so walking your pet is a added plus. I so enjoy the companionship. I babysit my Friends dogs frequently and dog walk another friends daily while she is at work. Pets tend to make you happy and smile because they always are. I find that just that makes your life happier. I would love to meet your pet and give them great walks and playtime while you are away. About: I have taken care of both of my family dogs and our cat for around 10 years now. I have also cared for family friend's animals when they were away walking, feeding, and watching them. I am currently in school full time but have plenty of time throughout the week, as well as weekends, to care for all of your pets! I will not take more than one dog at a time for a walk if requested so that it is guaranteed there will be no issues with other dogs.

About: I have always grown up with dogs. I’ve helped train my own and have been relied on to watch neighbors’ and friends’ over the years as well! I worked for a dog walking company for over a year. She setup a meeting beforehand to make sure that my dog got along with her 1.5 year old golden retriever and that we were comfortable with where our dog would be staying. I was an active volunteer at Humane Animal Partners in Rehoboth Beach and have helped organize multiple donation drives for the SPCA. I’ve had pets my entire life.
