“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. The kittens can be quite messy, and require lots of attention. Our adult cat is shy, is very afraid of new people, and doesn’t like her routine disrupted. They all get wet and dry food, and have specific preferences. Caroline followed our detailed instructions for feeding, and kept the house in top shape. She was very patient with our adult cat, and even managed to get her to take some treats. We received detailed feedback and adorable photos from each check in. About: I've raised dogs my entire life! Over the last 5 years, I've started house sitting for family friends for upwards of 3-4 weeks at a time, adding cats, bunnies, and birds to the rotation. Currently until the end of June, I will be working about 4 days a week as a substitute teacher. I'm usually out of the house by 6:30a and home around 3:15p. If it's a day where I don't have a job scheduled, then I'm free :) I am very adaptable, reliable, clean and thoughtful when it comes to caring for clients animals, especially in their homes. I grew up with 2 dogs and have always loved animals. My sister is a veterinarian and has taught me a lot. She is on call if your animal has any health issues. I’m in a career transition right now, so your business so greatly appreciated ❤️ I am a yoga instructor working part time, so I have a lot of time for your pets! My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)

About: I have volunteered at the SPCA for three years, taking care of small dogs, large dogs, and even cats. I even take care of people's pets in my neighborhood. Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”
“Kate was absolutely amazing with our pup, Swift! After having our normal boarding facility cancel on us due to overbooking before a vacation, I quickly visited rover to see if I could find a suitable match for Swift. Kate responded in about 10 minutes and accepted the booking, a true life saver! Swift loved his time at Kate’s beautiful home. He has been pooped since you pickup and I know he truly got the attention and exercise that he needs. Kate sent tons of pictures which really eased my mind while I was on vacation. “Kelley was a great sitter and allowed us to book the last minute, only a couple days prior. She was very attentive and quickly responded to messages. Our German Shepherd loved her stay at Kelley's place. The yard is more than spacious, and our dog loved playing and running around there. She had her own room with a dog bed and a water fountain, and was provided with play time and all the care she needed. Highly recommended, and will definitely use Kelley's services anytime in the future.”
