About: I am a life-long animal lover. I grew up with dogs, a cat, a rabbit and anything else I could convince my parents to house! I've been riding horses since an early age as well. About: I've been a pet owner my whole life. There was always a dog in my home when I was a child. Later on, in my own home had raised two dogs and a cat from their earliest days. My sweet Golden Retriever, Milo, was with me and my kids since he was 10 weeks old. He was amazing! Sadly after a year of being sick and fighting a good fight, it became too much for him. My kids & I said goodbye to him with many tears and such a heaviness in our hearts. It has been sad not seeing his happy face when I come home or unusual to not have to take him out for his nighttime walk. We miss him so much! I would love to be able to share my love that I had for him with the caring of another dog. About: I am current graduate student at Ramapo college looking for a new way to spend time with dogs (since I can’t get one of my own just yet)! I just ended my time volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay as a short term volunteer with completing my undergraduate degree. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I may not be the best fit for dogs with strong leash reactivity, high prey drive, or those requiring advanced behavioral handling. I like to do a quick meet & greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone before confirming a booking . I work from my home M & F I am best for those days or weekend care. I only watch one dog at a time. I have a cozy home and a nice neighborhood to walk the dog. I have a 11 year old boy who loves dogs and takes pride in caring for them. I will follow your directions to keep consistent with your house rules.

“Tammy and her family provided a very warm and caring environment for my 8 1/2-year-old Labrador when we went away. Although my dog was a little scared of her one small doggy who likes to bark to say hello (but is very friendly), they quickly became friends. My dog is used to having me home all day and it was wonderful, not only that Tammy works very close to her home so she can pop in and out, but also that my dog could hang out with Tammy's daughter and dad who live with her, so there is always someone around. I would highly recommend Tammy who is lovely and easy to work with (and most importantly obviously loves dogs). I will definitely use her again!”
