“Like many others, my dog is basically my child so I always get a little nervous when it comes to finding a sitter. I contacted Cheryl to watch my 5 year old dachshund for two nights for a wedding we were attending. She was very responsive and was also conveniently located 10 minutes from our hotel. We traveled from NY and therefore didn’t get the opportunity to do a meet and greet beforehand but Cheryl reassured me that her dog Gus was friendly with everyone and when our dog met him, they got along right away. Cheryl has a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to run around and although our dog typically sleeps on our bed, Cheryl had plenty of comfy couches and dog beds available. My dog is also an incredibly picky eater and eats fresh refrigerated dog food (he’s a diva I know) and Cheryl had no problems accommodating this. She provided many updates which I certainly appreciated. I would recommend Cheryl to others looking for a dog sitter in the area. About: Believe it or not, I'm actually a cat person, despite my connection with my two current dogs, Puppy (yes, her name is Puppy) and Dante. But I've also had cats all my life. First was Tiana, who was old, but never slow, and she liked the peace and quiet. She also needed medicine daily and I helped administer it to her, of course. Maya and Luna were next. Luna came from an abandoned home and we took her in after visiting her constantly and building trust with her before she hopped in the car to finally come home. Maya was a calico, possiblr the sweetest breed, and she used to sit on my homework to make me pet her, even though she was no short of receiving love! Tommy (the cat in the photo) and Winter were next. Uncle and nephew, respectively, they sometimes fought but learned to tolerate each other through slow introductions, a watchful eye, and at times separation when necessary. They were very loving, though, under all those spikey hairs. I remember taking them in as kittens, and sitting with them as they meowed throughout the first nights while they got used to the big house. Both acted the exact same, ironically. Truly family, no? Cats may not need as much attention as others but I will be watchful and mindful of yours at all times, administer medicine properly and as instructed when needed, and always feed on time as well as clean up after them! I never punish a cat for the mess it makes as well. No one should! All it takes is patience to simply clean up and move on.
About: I love all types of dogs, and am the type of person who can't pass a dog in the street without stopping to say hi and give him/her a pet. I have a dog of my own, Mia, a 7 year old German Shepherd mix. I love her, but she's a handful, so I have experience with dogs who might need a little extra attention and care. I'm a teacher and off for the summer so I have plenty of time during the week (and on some weekends) to walk your pup. Unfortunately, my dog is not the most friendly to others so I cannot host your dog in my home. We'll have fun being out and about though!

About: I’ve watched dogs both in my own home as well as pet owners homes for extended periods of time. I treat them with the same care and compassion I would my own dog. Dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles 🐶🐈⬛️🦎 are all in my pet sitting repetoire from personal experience growing up! Currently I have two dogs, one small shih-tzu 🤍terrier and one large German Shepherd 🐕 that get along great. As you can see in-home boarding at my house will be unavailable because of this. I am open to very quick notice sits as long as they do not conflict with my primary job, which is as a restaurant server in a pizza place! 🍕 I will always feed on time 🥣, take pets out to go safely and on a leash or in a fenced area, administer medicine 💊 properly, as instructed and when needed, and accomodate for any other methods of care your pet is used to in order to make them feel comfortable and build a bond! I'm taking care of them, after all -- they deserve someone they'll get to know! If you need someone reliable, intelligent and passionate about animals then look no further. You've found your pet sitter for life! I'm working part-time as a restaurant server as I mentioned before. My schedule is posted monthly so I will have plenty of time in advance to know whether or not your pet can receive my care! And I have not much else going on otherwise in terms of availability. In your home I would be respectful of all assets and living spaces, as well as supervise the pets to make sure they don't cause trouble. If they do I have open communication at all times and would of course clean up after them as well! I feed and take them out or clean up after them regularly, and of course every animal is different so we will discuss what times every animal is used to and fit them in to the boarding schedule! For walks, feeds, or medication through drop-ins we would discuss a schedule as well, be it weekly, daily, or whatever you need.

I have also taken care of my family and friends dogs when on vacation, ranging from tiny Chihuahuas to medium Labs. I currently am a college student, taking short classes and have so much free time so I’m really looking forward to having something to do especially that I get to work with pets! I have zero pets and live in a apartment where pets are allowed. There is a walking trail provided in my community that I can use to walk your pet/s.
“Like many others, my dog is basically my child so I always get a little nervous when it comes to finding a sitter. I contacted Cheryl to watch my 5 year old dachshund for two nights for a wedding we were attending. She was very responsive and was also conveniently located 10 minutes from our hotel. We traveled from NY and therefore didn’t get the opportunity to do a meet and greet beforehand but Cheryl reassured me that her dog Gus was friendly with everyone and when our dog met him, they got along right away. Cheryl has a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to run around and although our dog typically sleeps on our bed, Cheryl had plenty of comfy couches and dog beds available. My dog is also an incredibly picky eater and eats fresh refrigerated dog food (he’s a diva I know) and Cheryl had no problems accommodating this. She provided many updates which I certainly appreciated. I would recommend Cheryl to others looking for a dog sitter in the area. She did a great job taking care of my fur baby and I would use her as a sitter if we were ever in the area again. Thank you for taking great care of Wilson, Cheryl!!”

About: I have cared for puppies, as well as adult dogs and aging dogs. I love them all and they all sense it when I meet them. I am retired, so I have a lot of time and a very flexible schedule. Also, I am up very early in the morning, and like getting an early start. I have a partially fenced yard, so would be more comfortable with your dog n a leash or inside the house if at my home.
“We left our 75 pound lap dog for 9 days and I think he had more fun than we did. He had lots of fun playing with other dogs and looking out their front window. Received pictures every day reassuring us he was being well taken care of. Meg and her family took great care of Rocco. I would definitely use them again if I could get another family vacation!”
