“Mary Jo was one of the best care takers we have had through out our travels. She gave our boy all the attention he needed. She kept us informed with lots of pictures and text messages on what they were doing and how Archie was adjusting. We used Mary Jo for two days of daycare. On our second day we had trouble with the bus tour we took which caused us many delays on completing our site seeing adventures then when we were finally on our way to pick our boy up our GPS took us to a different town which delayed us again for another hour. Throughout all these delays and my stress level rising Mary Jo kept assuring me that everything was ok and not to worry. With assuring us throughout these delays she helped me relax and go with the flow. I will definitely use Mary Jo again whenever I am in the area. Archie was very happy in her care.”

Caring for animals has always been a part of my life, and I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. I currently am the proud owner of my rescue mix, Goose, who has taught me even more about patience, positive reinforcement, and helping dogs feel comfortable in new situations. I also have two cats, so I’m experienced caring for both cats and dogs! Outside of pet care, I’m a CVICU registered nurse. My career has strengthened my attention to detail, reliability, and ability to stay calm in any situation. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications if needed, and keeping a close eye on your pet’s health and behavior. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing in the house, or just relaxing together, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while with me. I’ll treat them like they’re my own and make sure you feel connected with plenty of updates and photos throughout every visit. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member. I look forward to giving them the same care, attention, and affection that I’d want for my own pets! I currently work 3, 12 hour shifts a week, so I’m available the other 4 days! unfortunately, my schedule does rotate so i’m not bookable for weekly visits, but my calendar is up to date In my home or yours, your pet will be treated like my own. All pets will be played with, cared for, and snuggled with as much as they’ll let me :)

About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

About: I love dogs and have always grown up with them. My first dog was a St. Bernard/Lab mix and I currently have two spoiled Havanese pups that are brothers. I am reliable, believe in clear communication and provide frequent updates to ensure that owners are comfortable knowing their pets are safe and happy while they’re away!
