We told Jill initially that we had very low expectations that she would ever be able to pet him while we were away because he would be hiding. Well, let’s just say we were very wrong. On the very first day Jill was able to pet him and every day it got better and better. Benny came out to play and get pets and was very chatty, which is Benny at his best. About: My husband and I have lived in Lake Mohawk for 11 years. We have 4 wonderful children, all of which love animals. In addition to our children, we have a wonderfully trained male Shi-a-Poo named Toby. He is going on 13 years old. We have raised him since a puppy. Toby also loves to play with other dogs, however he's getting pretty lazy in his old doggie days. He enjoys laying and cuddling most of the day. Our children, on the other hand, love running around, playing fetch and taking Toby for walks...Toby would love to share the wealth! We live on a quiet street in a great neighborhood located in Lake Mohawk. We have a fenced in back yard where your dog can run around and play as much or as little as he/she wants! We will provide the best care for your best friend when you are not able, with lots of love and attention. Both my husband and I grew up with dogs, and when I was a teenager, I raised a dog for the Seeing Eye. I am a stay-at-home mom. There is someone home for the majority of the day so your pup will never be alone for more than a couple of hours. We would like to keep our client dogs on the smaller size and as non-shedding as possible. Our fee of $35 is for small dogs under 25lbs. We will consider watching larger dogs between 25-35lbs if they are mellow due to our small children. There is an additional fee of $10.00 per day for dogs between 25-35lb. Pick up is before noon and drop-off is after 3pm. A $5.00 an hour charge is added for pick up after 12 noon or drop off before 3pm, with at most an additional fee of $25.00 a day. If you and your pup are looking for a great family to spend some time with, we would love to meet you and your dog! About this sitter: If your dog feels most comfortable staying at his own home, we'll come visit, walk, and play with your beloved pooch while you're away!! Leave us the leash, and we'll take your dog on 20 - 30 minute walk. Our rates start at 25.00 per night with one 20-30 minute walk a day. I've worked in animal rescue, done trap-neuter-release, cared for a colony of feral cats for a decade, and fostered more kittens and adult cats than I can count. I offer visits, walks, overnight stays, or I can live at your house while you are away.
