This was my first time using Rover and I was initially nervous, but immediately from the meet and greet it was apparent Jac was both a true professional and animal lover. She was so gentle with my cat and attentive to the cat’s level of comfort, be it initial wariness or a later desire to play. About: I have taken care of pets my whole life so I can take care of puppies to elderly dogs. Most dogs love me and want to come play and pet. I also have a 2.5yr old son who absolutely LOVES dogs. We are happy to take care of dogs with special needs or is on mediations. We had a cat that just recently passed away and she would have been 19yrs old this year. She had asthma and we had to give her an inhaler 2x a day for 10 years. Happy to help your family with any special needs. We will love them like our own while you are away. About: My love for dogs is endless. I've been involved in dog rescue for over 12 years. The fun dogs, the shy dogs, the dogs with no direction and the perfect dogs, dogs of all ages. A very quiet home with playtime if they want it or quiet time that they need. I provide lots of enrichment and a full secure yard where they can run and play, or just sun bathe. I have been dog sitting for years and I've also been a part of a dog rescue where I've seen everything. Each one of our family members deserves love and respect and a little extra when their family is on vacation. It should be a relaxing time for our canine family too! I pride myself on the reaction of my visitors when they come back over and over!!! My schedule allows me to give your family members all the time and attention they could ask for in my home. I never want your furry family to feel like they aren't comfortable and I will engage with them as much or as little as they would like while giving them the space they need if they choose. I have a fully fenced in yard, but no one is out in the yard unattended. I also have the ability to completely separate dogs with separate exits/entrances. All dogs are able to go on couches and dog beds throughout the house and if they need their own space, I have that capability as well. I’m also very much a homebody, so when I’m not working or running an occasional errand, I’m usually at home with my pets. Adding another furry guest into my routine comes very naturally to me, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule around their normal routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾💕 I always try to keep each pet’s routine as close to normal as possible, whether I’m caring for them in my home or theirs. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, crate routines, playtime, and any other special needs or preferences. I know every pet has their own personality, so I adjust my care depending on whether they love constant attention and cuddles or prefer a little more space and independence. When pets stay in my home, safety is my biggest priority. I have dogs of my own, but I always keep my pets separated from my guests’ pets rather than assuming unfamiliar animals will get along. This allows every pet to have their own comfortable, safe space and gives owners peace of mind. My apartment complex also has a dog park, so if you are comfortable with your dog using it, I’m happy to take them there for some extra exercise and playtime. If dog parks aren’t your preference, that’s completely fine too! I’m more than happy to take them on long walks and strolls around my complex or visit nearby parks instead. I’ll always follow whatever you feel is safest and most appropriate for your dog. I’m very attentive and spend plenty of time checking in, playing, walking, cuddling, and making sure pets are comfortable throughout their stay. I also send regular photos and updates because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy and doing well while you’re away. 🐾💕

About: When my family adopted our first dog, Jennie, a German Shepard mix, I had made it a priority to walk her almost everyday and play with her so she was never bored. I also helped train her when she was a puppy, teaching her how to sit and how to give her paw. I also took care of her when she became older, helping her down stairs and cooking her healthy treats like salmon and chicken. My family has since had two different foster dogs (American bully and Pitbull) that I love to spend time and go on walks with. I’m currently home from college for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands and would love to spend it with your pets! My dog is on antibiotics and she had so problem at all giving her her meds and making sure she was happy. She would update me multiple times a day and send pictures.
