About: I’ve grown up around cats my whole life, but my hands-on experience really deepened in college when I began fostering kittens. Since then, I’ve fostered a total of 9 cats, ranging from very young kittens to more independent cats, all with different personalities and needs. One of my most meaningful experiences was rescuing and raising a stray kitten from just 4 weeks old, which taught me a lot about patience, care, and building trust with animals at such a young age. About: I have grown up with pets my entire life. Born into a cat family, that soon became a cat and dog family, I’ve learned the proper ways to care for animals and treat each one I see as if they’re family. The same way animals make me happy, I want to make them happy. I currently work on a hybrid schedule, going in the office twice a week Mondays Thursdays, and working from home the rest of the week. My fiancé works from home all 5 weekdays and takes care of things during those 9-5 hours until I come home :) I pay attention to what the animal wants. About: ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. My first dog — Lucy, a Border Collie I had when I was 11 back in Shanghai, China — was my best friend for 16 years. Alongside her, I cared for a rescued stray cat "Noji" and an adopted poodle "Bebe" when I was 13, which taught me patience, responsibility, policing different pets, and how to understand different pet personalities. After moving to the U.S. for school, I brought home my baby Corgi "Brioche" in 2020. She’s now a 5-year-old certified service dog who’s friendly, well-trained, and walked three times a day for at least 30 minutes each time. I also helped train and kept a baby Devon Rex cat for my family in 2025. What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, ages, and temperaments — from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I love fur babies more than anything and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I will be working part time starting summer 2026 in NYC, so my schedule is flexible, I'm available for daily walks, boarding both weekdays and weekends. I live in a 2 bedroom in FiDi close to battery park city. There are no crates and my corgi was never crate-trained. I don't have indoor pet potty so I almost only take my dog out for potty unless the weather is crazy. I have plenty of dog beds and toys.
