When talking about safety with any pet, I take a precautious approach with anything that could become an 'oops!' or a 'hey you, get that out of your mouth!' moment. So I will always take precautions with anything being left out unmonitored like toys, food, anything chewable, stringy, or soft toys, etc. I never want to have to think twice about a preventable accident with your pet, so I always take the time to keep everyone safe. This goes especially for walks, your dog or cat's safety is always going to be at the front of my mind when interacting with any other furry friends nearby, as it is always better to be safe than sorry. Every pet needs a different relationship approach, and different play styles! There are some pets who just want to cuddle, ones who need specific play-styles to be interested, and others who need someone up to the task of frizbee-ing the Tasmanian Devil out of them! I know personally one of my cats only wants to lazily swat at one specific toy he keeps losing, and the other wants to run and leap around for 20 minutes straight. “The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, ranging from large German shepherds to 5lb chihuahuas. I genuinely care for the well being of all animals! I have plenty of patience and a huge heart for animals. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible daily schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention and care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, with time for walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and lots of love throughout the day. I’m home most of the day, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of companionship while you’re away! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow their normal routines, pay close attention to their behavior, and make sure they have a safe and comfortable environment. I’m careful with doors, feeding, medications, and anything else specific to their care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
