About: Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know that each cat has their own personality and needs. I’ve fostered 8 cats, caring for all personalities, ages, and needs, from kittens under 8 weeks old to senior cats. I’ve worked with cats that need medication, were overweight or underweight, required special diets, were scared and under socialized, or just needed extra patience and time to adjust to new people and a new environments. I’ve had lots of experience with cats who scratch or bite out of fear, so I have no problem taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I also have two cats of my own, and they were both very shy and nervous at first. After taking the time to build their confidence, they have become the most cuddly and trusting cats. I’m also the trusted sitter for many of my friends and family, so I’m comfortable looking after cats that have different routines and care needs. About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 10 and had 3 family cats growing up. I developed allergies to them as an adult, but that doesn’t always stop me from petting them. Usually the only reaction I get is puffy eyes and sneezing when I pet them, so taking care of food and cleaning litter boxes is no issue for me. About: I've had dogs most of my life and loved dogs my entire life. I started fostering dogs after my last two pups passed away and I just recently adopted my latest foster- a 10 year old one-eyed blind chiweenie named Maude and she loves to hang out with a pack so we welcome other small dogs or mellow/senior medium sized dogs. We live in a house with a fully fenced yard in a lovely walkable neighborhood with walking trails all around me. Ive had a cockapoo, boxer/ridgeback mix and most recently 2 dachshunds. I also am a regular foster and have hosted everything from poodles to pitties at my house. I do have a soft spot for the seniors as my last doxie had back issues at 15y/o and needed lots of extra help so I understand that stage of life and am so awed by their sweet and stoic nature as they age. I'm working from home these days so I'm home a LOT! I understand all dogs are unique and would love to chat with you about whether my house and I are a good fit for your pup(s). I am home a lot and able to walk, feed and play with your pups throughout the day and when I'm home on weekends I love to be outdoors walking or in my backyard and my dogs tended to be a part of all I did on the weekends! I do travel on occasion to see family but I keep my calendar up to date as much as possible so you can look ahead for bookings. My backyard is fully fenced with a big grassy lawn so your dog can play safely outside and take quick potty breaks between walks. We are home a lot so the pups tend to join us from room to room. I encourage per parents to bring us toys and beds and anything that makes the pups relaxed and at home.
“Monica has been wonderful caring for my pup Lincoln during the days this summer! Lincoln gets so excited when we pull up to the day care house and comes home exhausted everytime! He gets to interact with all the dogs in Monica’s neighborhood in a safe environment. The fenced in backyard at Monica’s house is great reassurance that the dogs can do a lot of running and remain safe. Additionally Monica has been extremely flexible with my changing work schedule! I have rebooked with Monica week after week and will continue to do so while working in the area. Monica and her family have really made a wonderful impact on our family. About: I’ve been around dogs since I can remember. Friends and family always come to me to watch their dogs when they need it! I am very trustworthy when coming to pet sitting. I do weekends (Friday-Sunday) but I can occasionally do weekdays. Depending on my school schedule I can accommodate to your needs for pet care (Monday and Tuesday if needed). “Maureen was a life-saver. I am recovering from surgery and my Mercedes being an early riser with a specific morning routine. It was hard. She was extremely anxious with seeing me in bed and unable to carry her and keeping her morning routine was nearly impossible. She had become increasingly anxious. Maureen came in every morning on time at 6 am, let Mercedes out, fed her and walk her. She gave Mercedes belly rubs, lots loving and Mercedes calmed down. Maureen followed my directions, was puntual and gave TLC to Mercedes and was polite with us. She noted concerns when needed . Though minor, we were able to deal with the issues right away. Everything worked like a charm. I thank God that I was able to connect with Maureen and she was overall EXCELLENT. Mercedes calmed down and was excited to see Maureen. She took a load off us on the most difficult part of my recovery. Surely a God sent.”

“Heather is an excellent pet sitter! Our little senior dog, Miki, stayed with her for a week while we were on vacation. Heather responded to all messages very promptly and is a great communicator. She followed all instructions to the letter and kept us updated on how our little boy was doing. At one point, Miki seemed to be feeling under the weather. Heather calmly shared her concerns and we were able to talk through a solution together. When we picked Miki up, he was happy and comfortable in Heather’s home. “My hubby is working in the area. I flew in from GA to visit him, so that we could drive to Canada to celebrate our 10th anniversary. He travels with our dog and we needed a safe home away from home while we travel. Ivelisse was great with our fur baby! Love had just been diagnosed with a UTI and she was very attentive, even giving us helpful recommendations on how to prevent further ones. She sent regular updates and we could tell that Love enjoyed the stay as well. We are thankful that Ivelisse was able to accommodate us on such short notice. Thanks for treating our dog like family!
