Constant walks throughout the day. Always keep about two bowls of water around the house and provide daily morning exercise routines (my morning walks/jogs). I have no problem buying treats or toys as long as it’s okay with the client/parent. This also goes for traveling to clients/parents homes.

“I'm retired, so my dog is with me most of the time and I've only left her on her own for short periods. I needed to leave her for several hours, so I was looking for a sitter to take care of her during my absence. I found Erin on Rover and all her reviews were 5 star and spoke highly of her. Plus, she was only a short car ride away. We had our meet and greet and Erin was everything and more that her reviews claimed, so I booked with her. My dog had the time of her life during her stay with Erin! Erin took my dog with her when she went to drop off and later pick up her daughter at the school bus stop and my dog, who loves people, was in her element meeting all the other kids and their parents. My dog spent the rest of the day playing with Erin's too-young-for-school son, who did a great job tiring my dog out and she slept all the way on the car ride home! About: I have 7 years experience taking care of my own 80 lb Greyhound, Chloe. Unfortunately, we lost her to bone cancer a few years ago. We have 2 kids who absolutely love dogs and we're ready to love a few more pets! We only care for one dog at a time so your pup can get all the attention they deserve! Since we watch one dog at a time, you won't need to worry about your dog being around any other unfamiliar dogs during the stay. We are located 36 minutes from Newark Airport. Your dog will be in the best care while you are away! With someone home 24 hours a day, your dog will never be alone. While I do have a fenced in yard, I still believe walks are important for every dog. Boarding and doggy daycare options are available during the week and throughout the weekend. Medication administration is also available for your dog. My husband and I work opposite schedules. I'm currently working part-time, but my husband is home when I'm at work, so your pup will be cared for around the clock! Boarding and doggy daycare are available daily. I have a fenced in yard for pups to run around. I can also crate your dog at night or when specified. I can care for your pup however you see fit, including following specific feeding schedules or medication schedules.
“Mary Jo was one of the best care takers we have had through out our travels. She gave our boy all the attention he needed. She kept us informed with lots of pictures and text messages on what they were doing and how Archie was adjusting. We used Mary Jo for two days of daycare. On our second day we had trouble with the bus tour we took which caused us many delays on completing our site seeing adventures then when we were finally on our way to pick our boy up our GPS took us to a different town which delayed us again for another hour. Throughout all these delays and my stress level rising Mary Jo kept assuring me that everything was ok and not to worry. With assuring us throughout these delays she helped me relax and go with the flow. I will definitely use Mary Jo again whenever I am in the area. Archie was very happy in her care.”

About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. Lots of experience in caring for dog and dog walking. I also have experience in caring for a pet after surgery and administering medication. I understand how important it is for your dog to be comfortable while you are away from home. I work full-time, but I work from home two days a week. About: I've had pets in my home all my life and have always helped care for them. Including: dogs, rabbits, rats, lizards, and fish. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I love caring for them by walking them in interesting places or feeding them, even sleeping with them! I finally got a dog of my own at 15 and for the past several years have walked her weekly. Now I have 2 and have learned to manage them both while walking simultaneously. I try to go on light hiking trails or to parks, switching up the location every time. I am currently free most weekends. On Fridays, I'm free after 2 PM typically, but occasionally my girlfriend will be free, in which case she can take dogs on Friday morning for boarding. Just ask and I'll let you know when I'm available on a particular Friday. In my home, my dogs are well-fed with a healthy diet of kibble twice a day, eggs in the morning, and chicken strips at night. They each get baths once every few weeks. We also always prefer they are never alone for more than a few hours at a time. If we leave even for one night, we make sure we have someone visit them every few hours for feeding and letting out. Otherwise, we make sure they feel as loved as possible with lots of petting and sitting together!
