About: I am patient and will let your dog sniff around all they want. I am caring and will ensure the path your dog is walking on is safe for their paws. And I am energetic, leaving your dog tired when they come home. I will care for your dog by keeping them on a leash and bringing water for when they get thirsty. With your cat, I will first let them sniff me and warm up to me. They’ll soon cuddle up to me. I am available most days before 9am, at lunchtime (between 12pm and 2pm) and after 5pm. For house visits, I am able to stay either all day or all night and pop during the day for mealtimes/potty breaks. While in your home, I am mindful of your space and will follow your instructions. For boarding visits, I live near a park and can take your pet out 3-4 times a day. Unfortunately while I understand everyone’s needs/customs are different, I do no accept dogs that either use an indoor doggy potty or are not house trained.

Dog walking has always been one of my favorite pastimes, and I’m excited to spend my free time doing something I genuinely enjoy. Whether your dog needs a daily walk, exercise, companionship, or extra attention while you’re away, I am reliable, responsible, and ready to help. While I currently share my home with one beloved cat, I have been a dog owner for most of my adult life. After losing my three dogs, I decided not to get another dog right away, but I still deeply miss the companionship and joy that dogs bring to everyday life. I have always been the kind of dog mom who made my dogs a priority. When I had dogs, I walked them before work every morning, came home during my lunch break to take them out again since I worked less than a mile from home, and then enjoyed another walk with them in the evening. My yard is fully fenced, providing a safe space for play and exercise, but I have always believed that dogs need more than just a backyard—they need walks, attention, and quality time with their people. Caring for dogs has never felt like a chore to me; it’s something I truly enjoy. Becoming a Rover walker gives me the opportunity to spend time with dogs again while helping other pet owners ensure their furry family members receive the love, exercise, and attention they deserve. 🐾
About: My name is Emma R. and I am currently a senior at Fairleigh Dickinson University - Florham. I have been housitting and pet sitting since I was in middle school and would love to help you out! I have worked with animals of all size, age, and even some with medical conditions. I am experienced at giving medication and work well wih animals, as I grew up with a cat and dogs. I am able to care for multiple pets at once, and have a car on campus so I am able to take any job. I am a college student with avalability sporadically so please reach out about specific days and times that you would need care. I am happy to take pets on walks or just sit with them and give them attention in addition to feeding. If staying the night, I am happy to have your pet sleep with me or crate them, whatever they will be the most comfortable with.
About: As a speech therapist for 10 months out of the year, I primarily work with children and enjoy spending summers outdoors with my own dog, Cooper. I have 10 years of experience pet sitting and dog walking, through Rover as well as for friends and neighbors. I am comfortable maintaining your dog’s training and walking routines to ensure safe, fun walks together! (Cooper will stay at home, he is a whole lot of 100 lbs and receives his own walks. He does not resource guard and has never been a bite risk). I’m looking to dog walk and/or dog sit in the summer, when I am off from my public school job. This would be during the months of July and August, but depending on the hour I can be available before July (after 4:30 pm). During the summer I have a very flexible schedule. I have a fenced in yard and a split level home. I can keep our dogs separate or introduce them depending on your preference and whether they can acclimate (Cooper is a big boy but docile and friendly).
About: I have a lot of experience taking care of dogs of different breeds and sizes for neighbors, friends, and family. In the past I have been responsible for walking, feeding, and spending quality time with these pets as well as adhering to other accommodations requested by the owners. My family and I have a 2 German shepherds that requires a lot of walks and physical activity that I take part in providing. As of right now I am working part time at night and have a lot of free time in mornings all days of the week to provide quality care for your pet. In August I will be starting school but will still be very flexible and accommodating to the needs of the pet. In order to care for my clients pets I am very comfortable taking dogs of any size or breed on walks for however long needed. I also can provide spending time playing with the dog and providing food, water, and snacks when possible.
