About: Hi my name is Micaela and one thing about me is that I adore animals! I love all animals so very much. I also feel that I work really well with them. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. Most of my dogs have been big dogs so I’m pretty good with handling any challenge that’s thrown my way. I’ve had more aggressive and protective dogs as well as laid back dogs and I’ve loved all. I’ve also worked at local shelters in my hometown and felt that that helped me gain more experience working with varying animals. I trained a couple of my dogs from a young age and though I’m not certified I felt that I did a pretty good job. I’m very patient and very genuine. I also watched my dogs whenever my parents would go on business trips which was quite often so I’d say this is the perfect job for me! I’m a college student but have majority of my classes online so my schedule is pretty clear. I love being outdoors and in nature so dog walking is right up my alley. I also love just chilling at home so I have no problem with that as well. I will always be respectful of others space especially if they are allowing me to stay in their home and watch their animals. About: I have had cats and a dog my entire life, and not only love playing with them, but taking care of them! I have also taken care of many dogs and cats of my neighbors and or friends where i ensure to follow their exact directions and be punctual every day for their pets. In high school, it was part of my daily routine to take my dog on a long walk before and after school, giving him the best care despite my busy schedule. As a fourth year student at Penn State, I have a lot of free time as I do not have many classes this semester. I am available during many afternoons when many are unable to care for their pets. About: I’ve had my 16 year old senior cats since I was 7 years old, I have a ton of cat experience but I worked at a doggy daycare shortly so I can take care of dogs as well! I can also administer medication liquid form or pills. I’m also planning on going to Veterinary Technician school because my dream is to work with animals. I’m hoping to get a part time job soon but in the meantime or on my off days I plan to take care of animals. I’m currently not working so I have a lot of time in my schedule to care for dogs and cats while I job search. For taking care of cats my room is safe and can fit a litter box and food/water bowls. I can’t take in dogs because my cats get anxious around dogs , but I am happy to come to my clients home and do an overnight or drop in visits for dogs. I like when owners leave a list of everything for me just so I can make sure their pets have everything they need.

Our home is pet friendly, allowing your dog to roam freely. We have a fenced in yard for play and a deck that dogs enjoy sunning themselves on. I have lots of experience with puppies and senior dogs, dogs with all levels of training and I am comfortable administering medication. My background is in Animal Behavior. I am a patient animal lover who takes time to understand an individual dog's needs based upon its environment and behavior. During their stay, your dog will be treated as a member of the family in my home, which includes 2 adults and 3 teenaged children and 1 dog-loving dog. My yard is fully fenced, and dogs are welcome on some furniture. I have a lovely quiet neighborhood as well as beautiful, wooded trails for leashed walks. I am home full time, so I am available to care for your dog throughout the entire day. Frequent outdoor breaks, playtime and walks are no problem. Your dog will feel like a part of the family in my home. Their individual needs will be discussed prior to their stay and appropriate attention and care will be provided. I am comfortable giving medications and have worked in animal medical environments.
