About: Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know that each cat has their own personality and needs. I’ve fostered 8 cats, caring for all personalities, ages, and needs, from kittens under 8 weeks old to senior cats. I’ve worked with cats that need medication, were overweight or underweight, required special diets, were scared and under socialized, or just needed extra patience and time to adjust to new people and a new environments. I’ve had lots of experience with cats who scratch or bite out of fear, so I have no problem taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I also have two cats of my own, and they were both very shy and nervous at first. After taking the time to build their confidence, they have become the most cuddly and trusting cats. Beginning in middle school, I would always volunteer at shelters because I saw the great need for help with so many dogs that had been abandoned or rescued from neglect. and I myself decided to adopt a few of them and give them the life meant for a prince or princess:) I am always vigilant to their wellbeing, I love playing with them, they give so much unconditional love. About: Sorry due to rover taking a 20% fee now, I have to raise my prices. It was 10% before. I love animals, I’ve owned animals my whole life, I have two pet bunnies. (They live in my garage, not house, other animals don't have access) I also own a beagle, he’s 12 . He’s very friendly and loves other dogs, specially people, he's friendly with cats. I volunteer at animal shelters and I'm going for my vet technician degree. . I take my dog out in the morning for a walk, he gets many walks through out the day, I have a flexible job where I chose my own hours / schedule but during those hours I choose I'm on call and might have to leave, usually always have one other person home but if your dog cannot be left alone I can fix my work schedule to work with you. I will love your pet like my own until you come back home. If your pet is staying at my house, we have a big back yard that has a lead for your dog, also a nice quiet street I live on for walks. my dog will be around your pet so please also have a friendly pet. Besides that, daily feeding, daily pets&love, brushing, exercise, playtime. Your pets will get all of that.

About: I've had dogs most of my life and loved dogs my entire life. I started fostering dogs after my last two pups passed away and I just recently adopted my latest foster- a 10 year old one-eyed blind chiweenie named Maude and she loves to hang out with a pack so we welcome other small dogs or mellow/senior medium sized dogs. We live in a house with a fully fenced yard in a lovely walkable neighborhood with walking trails all around me. Ive had a cockapoo, boxer/ridgeback mix and most recently 2 dachshunds. I also am a regular foster and have hosted everything from poodles to pitties at my house. I do have a soft spot for the seniors as my last doxie had back issues at 15y/o and needed lots of extra help so I understand that stage of life and am so awed by their sweet and stoic nature as they age. I'm working from home these days so I'm home a LOT! I understand all dogs are unique and would love to chat with you about whether my house and I are a good fit for your pup(s). I am home a lot and able to walk, feed and play with your pups throughout the day and when I'm home on weekends I love to be outdoors walking or in my backyard and my dogs tended to be a part of all I did on the weekends! I do travel on occasion to see family but I keep my calendar up to date as much as possible so you can look ahead for bookings. My backyard is fully fenced with a big grassy lawn so your dog can play safely outside and take quick potty breaks between walks. We are home a lot so the pups tend to join us from room to room. I encourage per parents to bring us toys and beds and anything that makes the pups relaxed and at home.

This was the first time my one year old goldendoodle was being watched by a family member, but Melissa made sure not only Sammie felt comfortable, cared for, and loved, but also me! She sent daily text updates, plenty of pictures, and a video each day of my vacation. Sammie even was able to fall asleep with her in her bed similar to how she is at home. Sammie loved their dogs and had a great time playing in the back yard. I highly recommend Melissa, Dan, and her family for watching dogs. “Jim provided excellent care for my pup. I really appreciated his availability when my previous boarding arrangements fell through at the last minute. My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime.
