With her age, she unexpectedly took a turn for the worse and they provided really great care and provided updates throughout the day on how she was doing - they even took turns sleeping downstairs with her so she wouldn't be alone. Caring for a stranger's 130lb dog is not easy but I was able to worry a little less knowing she was being cared for lovingly by them. They were also very flexible and allowed me to bring a bunch of floor runners to their house and they were also able to follow my millions of instructions including feeding schedules with supplements, and pills. About: My husband and I were both raised with dogs. I also worked at a vet clinic in the past and learned a great deal about cats and dogs from my experience there. Additionally, my husband was raised on his family's sheep farm. The farm had sheep along with alpacas, chickens, cats, and dogs. I worked on their farm for about 3 years when we lived there while saving for a home of our own. We have a small friendly Yorkshire Terrier. We also have a 5-year-old who loves animals of any kind. Kid-friendly pets only please :) We live on a 2-acre lot with plenty of room for your fur baby to play. We keep a close eye on any animals in the yard for their safety as our yard is not fenced in however our house is off the road. Our house is pet friendly. We'd love to cuddle your fury baby when you can't. :) I'm currently working part-time from home so I will be hanging out with your pup most of the day. If I need to go in to work, it is only 15 mins from my house so I can always run home to let your pup (and mine) out. :) We have a 3-acre lot. There is room to run and play. Since launching my Rover business in 2022, I have boarded all different breeds of dog from dachshund to poodle, and cavalier spaniel to every color of lab. “Audrey and Dan went above and beyond to take care of my senior Newfoundland (12 years 2 months) when we went away for 5 nights. With her age, she unexpectedly took a turn for the worse and they provided really great care and provided updates throughout the day on how she was doing - they even took turns sleeping downstairs with her so she wouldn't be alone. Caring for a stranger's 130lb dog is not easy but I was able to worry a little less knowing she was being cared for lovingly by them. They were also very flexible and allowed me to bring a bunch of floor runners to their house and they were also able to follow my millions of instructions including feeding schedules with supplements, and pills. Their patience and senior dog experience is invaluable and I would trust them with all my future dog needs. THANK YOU AGAIN!”
