Whether your dog wants to play, walk, nap, or simply have a companion nearby, I’m happy to make them feel right at home. I had a family dog until 2019 and then rescued my Shiloh two months after. Shiloh had fear aggression and separation anxiety for the first year with me but i learned A LOT from that experience. Shiloh passed away June 6th, 2026 and if you knew her then you would know she went from being fearful to knowing she was safe. Shiloh was almost 11 and i had adopted her when she was 3. She was the only fur baby that was my own but i learned more from her than my family dogs! My dog walking availability is typically between 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM, making me a great option for morning walks, midday potty breaks, exercise sessions, and companionship while you’re at work. “Jennifer took incredible care of my two-year-old cat, and I couldn’t be happier! This was my first time having someone outside of my family pet sit, so I was definitely nervous — but Jennifer instantly put me at ease. I left very specific instructions and shared my worries with her, and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She kept me updated after every visit with detailed reports and plenty of photos, which I truly appreciated. From her updates and the way my little guy looked in the pictures, I could tell he trusted her completely and felt safe and loved in her care. I’m so grateful I chose Jennifer and would book her again and again without hesitation. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive, I highly recommend her!”

“Danielle kept our girl Trixie for the day while we hosted a bbq for 65 people. Trixie is an escape artist if someone leaves the door or gate open more than 2 seconds so we knew we needed to send her to camp for the day. Danielle sent us a video of Trixie having a blast with the other dogs. Danielle was even flexible enough to deliver Trixie back to our home (same town) as a last minute request. We will definitely use her again. Thanks for pooping my girl out, she slept like a log that night.”

“Paula was honestly the best dog sitter we could have ever asked for. She is humble, kind, and was absolutely wonderful with Cappucino. She was very, VERY patient with him, through his stubbornness, active personality, and especially his barking. I couldn’t ask for any one better to care for my dog. Cappucino is stubborn and it isn’t easy to get him to trust you, especially if he barely knows you. But somehow, Paula managed to win him over! I was so happy when I found out they were starting to become friends. She send us updates, messages, and pictures throughout our entire stay, and is surprisingly quite a nice photographer! I recommend Paula to everyone, and would give her a 10/5 if I could. You won’t regret having her care for your pup!”

About: What sets me apart is my experience caring for pets at every stage of life. I’ve taken care of puppies who need patience, structure, and reinforcement of basic training, energetic adult dogs who thrive on activity and routine, and senior dogs who require a gentler pace, medication awareness, and extra attentiveness. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s specific needs, whether that means reinforcing potty training, maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic medications, or simply providing calm companionship. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work fully remote from home and have flexibility in setting my schedule. This allows me to plan my day around walks, feedings, playtime, and any specific care needs your pet may have. I’m home throughout the day, so your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches and can receive consistent attention, bathroom breaks, and companionship. Because I structure my work independently, I can easily adjust my schedule to maintain your pet’s normal routine, whether that means early morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening wind-down time. It’s important to me that pets feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for, not just supervised.

About: I have always been a lover of animals. I grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits, guniea pigs, and hamsters. Every single animal I’ve had has been given the love they deserve. “Elena was a hero today. She ran over to our house after Sammy destroyed a throw pillow. She was able to get it away from him before he could eat it. Elena is so good to Sammy and to us.”

About: I've been lucky enough to have a dog in my life since I was 8 years old, and now I'm 20! My dog is 13 years old, and caring for her has taught me so much about patience and responsibility. She takes multiple medications, so I'm very comfortable with medication schedules and making sure pets receive the care they need on time. I've also looked after other pets for family and friends like my friend's 3 cats, Rocky, Pepper and Sage, during school breaks, and the cutest dog in the world, Abby. These experiences helped me become confident caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs!! I truly love spending time with animals, cuddling, playing, keeping them company, or just making sure they stay active and happy. I'm an outdoorsy person who enjoys hiking and walking, so I'd be happy to take your dog on walks and adventures if needed. I'm reliable, attentive, and comfortable with feeding and following special instructions to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for! I’m planning to have an internship, so I’ll be working full days but will be able to periodically check in on your animals!! I love to play and spend time with them, and you can trust they’re in great hands! My puppy is 13 years old, and is on many medications, has specific feeding times and diet, but she still loves to play and go on walks! I’m super organized and take very good care of her.
About: Hello! I have been loving and caring for animals since I was 12 years old. I am a certified NJ teacher, but unfortunately have had to leave the classroom due to various medical conditions. I taught middle and high school English and coached girls soccer & basketball. While I can no longer teach full-time, I still love being in a caregiver role, especially with animals. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and other pets in a comprehensive manner for two decades now. I would be honored to help care for your pet(s) like they’re my family. I hope to give you peace of mind whether you’re away, at work, or just in need of an extra set of loving hands. I’m more than happy to do meet & greets beforehand. Because I can no longer work full time due to my medical conditions, I am available weekdays and weekends, including holidays! I am comfortable doing feedings, walks (including to parks if allowed by owner), medication administration, baths, litter boxes, and of course lots of snuggling. I am very detail-oriented and I live by “leave every place you go better than how you found it.” I respect clients’ spaces and privacy. I love to help with anything I can while staying in your home, as long as clients feel comfortable with that. I have a calm, empathetic demeanor that animals seem drawn to. Think of me as Aunt Meg to your pets—your favorite fun aunt who’s coming to watch/help out as family. I can only do overnights in non-smoking homes.
“Madison took extra good care of our Holly. She went above and beyond and even gave Holly a much needed bath. Holly adores Madison and we would highly recommend Madison as a walker, sitter or trainer.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Nioletta's care of my pets. She goes above and beyond to help make my hectic like this particular week very manageable. She is professional, very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to each experience she is able to provide. Thanks Nicoletta!”
About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years, not only my own but friends and family as well, through pet sitting, house sitting, walks, feeding, medication administration, and overnight care. My long-term goal is to become a veterinarian, and I’m currently training to become a veterinary assistant/tech while continuing my education in animal medicine. Caring for animals is something I’m truly passionate about, not just a side job. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, high-energy dogs, shy pets, and multi-pet households. I always focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I currently have a pretty flexible schedule. I work at a veterinary clinic around 4-5 days a week, with most days being pretty flexible hours. I’m available for walks, drop in’s and house sitting during most weekdays and weekends. I’m very reliable, responsive, and understand how important consistency and routine are for pets. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. With my veterinary assistant training and future career goals in veterinary medicine, I pay close attention to animal behavior, health, routines, and stress levels. I am comfortable administering medications when needed and handling pets calmly and patiently. I will always treat your pets like family and your home with respect and care.

About: I have had numerous pets over the years that include dogs of many sizes and breeds. I have raised puppies and seen my share of canine companions through to the Rainbow Bridge. I have experience with numerous medical issues and giving medications. To be clear, I do not have any professional Veterinary experience from a providers perspective, but am able to provide basic medication dispensing with your instructions. I love to go for long walks and experience the joy that our furry friends get with lots of sniffs along the way. My husband is also available daily to help with care if for any reason I need to run out for an errand. My husband is also a caregiver on Rover if you would like to check out his page. His name is James Blankenhorn. I am a former Dental Hygienist that has been retired for just under 1 year. We lost our precious Malti Poo 2 years ago and I miss having a dog to care for. My husband is also retired, so we are both at home most days. My husband is also a Rover member that can help care for your dog when needed if I am unavailable, If you would like to check out his profile on Rover, his name is James Blankenhorn. We have had numerous dogs over the years that range from small to large. Our home is in a gated development and none of the yards are fenced in, so walks on a leash would be required. Each of us are also available to walk your canine companion in their own neighborhood if preferred. As noted above, I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am happy to walk your canine companion in my neighborhood or yours. I am happy to dispense medications if needed and happy to take your special pet to a Vet appointment if needed.

About: I have cared for puppies, as well as adult dogs and aging dogs. I love them all and they all sense it when I meet them. I am retired, so I have a lot of time and a very flexible schedule. Also, I am up very early in the morning, and like getting an early start. I have a partially fenced yard, so would be more comfortable with your dog n a leash or inside the house if at my home.

“Kim was wonderful with our Scouty! She sent lotsnof pictures, was able to tend to his medical needs, and kept him calm and happy while we were away. It was hard to leave him, as we know he gets anxious when we're away, but we had no worries once he was there. Wonderful experience! Thanks, Kim!”
“Nicole took such amazing care of our dog Dakota while we were away! We’ve used her twice now, and both times Dakota came home sooo happy. She has a nice backyard, and her kids and dogs are super friendly, so Dakota had plenty of fun and social time while staying there. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Dakota was in such good hands. We highly recommend Nicole — definitely a 5-star experience!”

“Matthew and his family were great hosts to our Welsh Terrier Winnie. She is an active dog with a lot of attitude. With their two dogs Henry and Jacks they were able to keep her running, walking, and content. We know our dog had a great time when she comes home spent, worn out, and sleeping for two days.
