“I adopted my dog Nomi at the end of 2025 and knew I had a lot of rehabilitation ahead of us since she is highly fearful and skittish. Nomi came from a hoarding house in Puerto Rico where 100 animals were removed from the property. I learned about Carly during a search on Rover and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered we both love mixed breed dogs from PR. Today was the first day since Nomi's adoption that she stayed with anyone other than myself. “Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. I love playing catch with the dogs and the cats I let them do their thing whether it's cuddling on the couch or if they are skiddish or shy I let them be until they are comfortable enough to be approached or to approach me. I also can give baths and trim nails! Need a sitter who has a big heart and a big yard? Call me! I have a semi flexible work schedule and I'm 10 mins from my house. I pop in and out during work hours and I'm home everyday and night 24/7 Cameras inside and out to keep an eye on the woof pack!! I am diligent on our daily schedule and bc of this the pups usually seem to get it after a day or two tops. I think sticking to a regimented schedule calms them almost immediately. Once they all have there “spot” where they sleep and eat the anxiety level instantly drops a few levels for every one of them. I have a large secure fenced in yard very open for running, playing catch or Frisbee, I can brush or bath any pet for you and I also offer nail trimming. Big bowls of fresh FILTERED water inside and out changed several times a day. I am diligent on dietary restrictions. Every day i make one on one time for each and every pup, they really love and appreciate it! i totally get that they need that time especially before bed. (I tuck them all in)

About: I have a Golden Retriever currently, and had one previously as well. I had dogs growing up as well, and love them. Would love to take care of your dog while you are away! I am home most of the time, as well as my husband who helps with the dog. We have a large fenced for your dog to come run around and play! About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Up until recently, I have raised 2 dogs for the past 15 years and cats prior to/during part of that time. I am a stay-at-home mom with 2 young adults away at college so I have flexibility to visit homes with dogs or cats throughout the day. About: I've been trained as a dog groomer for about a year and a half, so if your dog needs maintenance on its coat I'd be more than happy to help. I've worked with many kinds of dogs from 4 month old puppies to 15 year old seniors. I also have a senior dog, a yellow Labrador, 13 yrs. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. From playful puppies to senior pets needing a little extra patience and attention, I’ve cared for them all—and I truly treat every animal like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a fun, energizing walk or a calm, reassuring visit, I adjust my care to fit your pet’s unique personality and needs. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. During visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box or yard clean-up, medication (if needed), and lots of affection and attention. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love. I’d be honored to care for your pet as if they were my own! I'm currently working part-time on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I can usually pet walk/drop in or pet sit on the other days. I prefer to care for pets in their own environment because that's where they feel most comfortable. The safety of your pet is the most important thing to me.
About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals from birds, dogs,cats and bunnies. I have petsitted for many friends and family for an extended amount of time. I only feed holistic food and treats and purchase toys made in the USA. I will treat your pets like they were my own. I love to exercise and run so if your dog is active, I am the sitter for you. My own pets are very friendly to other dogs I can separate your dogs from my own. My cats and caged pets are kept away from the dogs so interaction is not an issue if your dog does not like them. I have had dogs and cats for over 40 years and have excellent references from adopters and current clients.

She showed up for every scheduled visit on time for her walks which were twice a day. On each walk, I got pictures and updates and Jinky got belly rubs and kisses! I already asked Erika about December and if she’d be available!!!! With that being said, there’s nobody else I’d want but Erika to take care of my FURBABY! She’s the BEST!”
About: Dog lover for 27 years! Friends, family, neighbors, and friends of friends have used my services for 5 plus years! I have had dogs my whole life and even assist with rescues. I keep up with new training techniques and strategies. Most importantly, I make sure you dog is safe, Loved, and spoiled. I work fully remote as a recruiter. This makes my schedule very flexible and mobile as I only use a phone and laptop to work. I can work from any location as long as I have wifi. I can hang all day for the fur babies who have separation anxiety and spend nights with those who are comfortable leaving there pet elsewhere. I come to you! “Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”

When I had to leave him for three nights for a work trip after I’d only had him for a few weeks, I was really worried about how he would do. Happily, all of my worrying was for nothing—he did great! Lauren was very patient with him, and he immediately felt comfortable with her. She understood his need for a calm environment and gave him exactly what he needed.
