About: Hi! I've been fostering dogs from a local shelter for a little over 2 years. In that time, I've helped about 20 dogs find their forever families. There's been dogs in our home ranging in age from 9 months to 9 years, all with a different story. Abused, neglected, owner surrender, stray, court case holds, seniors, puppies, overweight, super skinny and anything else you can think of! I treated them all with empathy and showered them affection to earn their trust and love. Many of my former fosters come for visits while their owners are on vacation. Any pup that comes through my doors will be cared for and treated with respect, just like my fosters! I work Monday to Friday 9-1, and I'm off evenings, weekends and holidays. I also work in the town in which I reside, so my commute is less than 5 minutes, meaning I'm close by! I have a fully fenced in yard, crates and dog beds in various sizes, bowls, blankets and mounds of toys. I'm also comfortable administering medication if needed.

About: I grew up with dogs + cats and have experience raising puppies, handling senior dogs, and dogs with minor special needs (mobility issues and vision-impaired). I have worked with animal rescues as a foster for dogs as well! As for cats, I have fostered nearly 50 kittens and adult cats, and have experience with special needs cats! I also have experience with animals such as rabbits, lizards, fish, guinea pigs/hamsters. I currently have no form of employment and can spare most of my time for pet-care. I am willing to do overnights, drop-ins, and playtime or dog walks! I cannot do boarding as I have animals of my own and avoiding a potential problem is the priority. My pets are well-cared for and since they all came from rescues, their specific needs are taken into account. The cats have their own separate litter boxes, the dogs get plenty of playtime and sunshine. As for a client’s home, I will make sure that their pets are loved as if they are my own and I will keep the home clean if any accidents occur. Important information such as diets, recommended outside time, and general schedules for the animals will be taken into account and treated very seriously.

About: My apartment complex has a side yard with plenty of space throughout it. I have a couple dog parks nearby, a courtyard and neighborhoods within a few feet that are all dog friendly. “Nyema took really good care of my furry buddy Corky for a whole week. We did a meet and greet before my scheduled trip. Each day while I was away she sent a picture for me to see he was ok. She was even concerned that he wasn’t drinking any water or eating much the first couple days. After a couple days he adjusted and started to drink and show her his fun personality. He interacted with little ones too and played with them. I was in another state working but was never worried about him being away from me for so many days. I picked him up and he was happy. I’ll definitely use her again.”
