“OMG! Alyssa and Marcus were amazing!!! It was Sam's first time being away from home. I was super nervous because he can get a little anxious and I didn't know how he would adjust to being away from home. We thought about it over some time and Alyssa and Marcus were able to accomodate our plans last minute. Before the reservation was even finalized, they were so helpful and reassuring. They kept me updated throughout his stay with so many pictures and reassurances. It really put my mind at ease. Sam had such a good time with Zara, Alyssa, and Marcus...I think he was upset he had to leave! I can't imagine sending him anywhere else. I definitely weill be booking with them again.”

“Jayanna went above, and beyond to accommodate me from my 1st last minute request at 5.a.m., to keeping my Kenny an extra few hrs because I had an accident that even called for an ambulance, and was still available to have him ready at 12:30 a.m. so we could get on the Hwy heading towards Texas. She was the Greatest. $40 tip along with the extra hours into a paid full day day was a drop in the bucket for someone a kind, sweet, and caring with animals, and clients as she's proben to be! 🥰”

“Madeleine and her family were awesome. They made our Army Navy weekend even greater. We got to enjoy the game and tailgate while Ginger and Kindle had a fun time too. “We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received! From the moment we met them, it was clear that they genuinely love animals and take their responsibility seriously. Our dog can be a bit shy with new people, but they was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive—quickly building a bond of trust and comfort. Throughout the time we were away, we received regular updates, including photos and thoughtful messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was clear that our dog wasn’t just being looked after, but truly cared for. We came home to a very happy, relaxed dog, which speaks volumes about their professionalism. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a dedicated and compassionate sitter and wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend to others. Thank you, for treating our dog like family!”

About: Hi, I’m Jai! I’m a passionate animal lover, certified dog groomer, and dedicated pet caregiver who believes every dog deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved — even when they’re away from their family. 🐶✨ My journey with animals began through my 4 years in FFA (Future Farmers of America), where I gained hands-on experience with animal care, responsibility, and proper handling. I also have experience working on a farm, which helped me develop a strong understanding of animal behavior, patience, safety, and the importance of providing consistent care. Throughout high school, I completed 4 years of agriculture classes, including animal science and anatomy studies, which helped me better understand animal health, body structure, and overall well-being. Along with my dog grooming certification, I have built a strong foundation in caring for dogs and understanding their individual needs. I am also continuing my education with the goal of opening my own affordable, high-quality dog care facility, where every pet can receive loving, dependable care without families having to worry about the cost. My passion is creating a place where dogs feel at home and owners feel confident knowing their pets are in caring hands. I understand that every dog is unique. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure each pet feels comfortable, happy, and loved while they’re in my care. One of the things that makes my home special is my 4 acres of outdoor space where dogs can enjoy supervised playtime, exercise, and exploring. My property includes a walking trail, a river area, and an invisible fence system that helps provide an added layer of security while they enjoy the outdoors. Safety is always my top priority, and I make sure every pup is comfortable and cared for during outdoor activities. I don’t just care for pets—I bond with them. Whether it’s playtime, special care for seniors, or positive reinforcement training, I’m all about making sure your pets feel loved and happy. I can’t wait to bring that same joy to your furry family members! I’m currently finishing my teaching internship, so I’m in school Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. My boyfriend does this full time and is at the house in the day with the dogs. I’m available for pet care before and after school, as well as on weekends, ensuring your pets get the care they need. I ensure a safe and comfortable environment with a fenced-in yard for secure playtime. Crates are available for pets who prefer their own space. To keep everyone safe, dogs are separated unless they’re being supervised.
About: I’ve had dogs and watched dogs since I moved to this area in 2006. I love to take them for walks and give lots of scratches. Dogs are just the best. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I also don’t start until 8:30 or 9 so early mornings are good. I am up late also so any time at night is fine. My home has a fenced in yard. For other homes I would take the dogs for a walk, refresh water, give a treat and make sure they’re all settled before heading out
About: I had a dog for 12 wonderful years! Since he’s passed, I live a travelers lifestyle which makes it hard to own a pet of my own though I’m always checking local SPCA’s just for fun! I’d love to meet and play with other people pets in between traveling. I am 34 years old, with a bachelors in education, and for 10 years was operating a waterpark in New Jersey that recently closed its doors. This is why I am between jobs and I plan to take a summer off of corporate world employment! I’m accountable, take instruction well, and love all animals of all different colors shapes and sizes! I worked as a dog walker/sitter in the past and then got busy with other jobs. This is my there is a large gap between the last reviews and services. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! I’m currently not working, taking the summer off before joining the corporate world again! I plan on doing a lot of traveling but looking for income while also doing something fun! I just moved into a new apartment, it has a large yard, though it’s not fully fenced in, however, I do have a makeshift fenced. I can put up to make it completely fenced in. I have no other pets, I am a very clean person he’s not afraid to get things dirty and clean afterwards if there are any whoopsies.
“This was my first time with Britney and I could not be more happy. She was great with my puppers and sent a picture of him getting a treat after their walk. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I make it a priority to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities so they feel happy and comfortable in my care. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pet is getting plenty of love, attention, and exercise. I am currently at home for summer and am available for services during the weekdays and have more than enough time to take your dogs for walk. I would be happy to see your furry friend at any time of the day. I prioritize creating a safe, structured, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions and maintain their pet’s normal routine to minimize stress and provide consistency. Whether caring for a playful puppy, an active adult dog, or a senior pet needing extra attention, I adapt my approach to meet their individual needs. I remain attentive during walks, monitor pets closely during play, and ensure they always have access to fresh water, comfort, and supervision. Clear communication, reliability, and treating every pet as if they were my own are the foundations of my care
About: I’ve been around/taking care of dogs my entire life. I started training my family dog when we got him as a puppy. Training included house breaking, teaching him basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, shake, roll over), leash training, and socializing him around people and other animals. I have also done dog sitting overnight, daily pet visits, and dog walking with a variety of dog breeds (from terriers to great danes) and ages (puppies to senior dogs). I currently work as a full time NICU nurse, which consists of three 12 hour shifts a week (7a-7:30p). These 3 days will change weekly depending on unit needs but I am willing to come by after a shift (8pm or later depending on location) if booked in advance. I am comfortable with watching and walking dogs of all breeds and ages. I love getting information from owners about what their dog(s) likes, doesn’t like, daily routine, etc. I also prefer to meet the dog(s) prior to watching him/her for the first time to ensure both the dog and I feel comfortable.
About: I have taken care of many jobs over the past couple of years. From my very loved family dog to many of my neighbors jobs. I have slept over at houses with animals, taken dogs on walks during the day, or just gone over to give some love when the owners are gone for long periods of time. I have always been an avid dog lover and now that I am living in an apartment that does not allow animals; I am missing my family dog very much. I would love to just get some puppy love for a bit every once and a while. I am currently working a full time 9-5 job that is in person in Wilmington. For older dogs who can be alone longer I would be happy to walk them before and after work. Any younger dogs that need faster check ins, I would be able to take care of better on the weekends. My dog is another family member to me, he is always treated with the best care and love. There aren't enough kisses and hugs I could give him in this life. I would be happy to treat any other dog the same.
About: I have been taking care of dogs for almost 10 years now. During that time I have gained experience with older dogs, diabetic dogs, puppies and everything in between. I currently own a rescue dog who I have been doing high level obedience with. We participate in dogs sport like rally obedience, fetch, fastCAT, barn hunt, lure coursing and most recently scent work. When I come to take care of your dog I will treat them as if they were my own with lots of love. I want to make you feel comfortable about leaving your dog knowing someone responsible is going to take care of them. I have a high energy dog. His care involves daily walks, and lots of training including scent work, learning new tricks or building up muscle and rear end awareness. My favorite activity is walking and training dogs. I will care for your dog with love and kindness. If you give my specifics of how you like your dog handled I am more than happy to follow that. I understand each dog is different and unique which means that I adjust accordingly.

“Took care of my dog perfectly and wrote a letter pretending it was my dog telling me what he did when he was with her. Would recommend to anyone looking to have their pet watched.”

About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. I currently work from home so I have plenty of freedom to spoil all the pets in my care. I do look after my 3 year old grandson sometimes so getting along with children would be an important quality if your pet should come to stay with me. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly sheepadoodle that gets along with both dogs and cats. We love to go on walks too.
“Carismeldi took fantastic care of my pup! She also sent plenty of updates and pics throughout this first stay which was reassuring. So thankful to have found her as a sitter. Looking forward to our dog staying with her again in a few weeks!”

“Alison was great with our dog Maggie! She took great care of her, kept her on her normal schedule, and showered her with attention and walks! Alison kept us updated during Maggie’s stay with texts and pictures. We felt very at ease knowing Maggie was so lovingly cared for while we were away!”

“Kelsey and Conor took great care of Rosie! Kelsey was so nice to communicate with and responded quickly to messages. Her dogs were so friendly and greeted Rosie so kindly right away! I would definitely book with Kelsey and Conor again. They made me feel like my dog was one of their own!”

“First-time Rover user here, and I was definitely a bit anxious going in but I didn’t need to be. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I highly recommend Andres. He’s easygoing, clearly great with dogs, and made the whole experience stress-free. My rescue chihuahua mix can be a little temperamental, especially around men, but Andres handled him without any issues. I also really appreciated the daily photo updates and quick check-ins—it gave me peace of mind knowing how my pup was doing. Overall, a really positive experience. Thanks again, Andres!”

“Hands down the most amazing sitter! The pictures and videos sent showed how loved my baby was. So much so when I came to pick her up. She greeted me and went right back into their home. Will 100% book with her again and highly recommend”

“Tamikia was a breath of fresh air. She was very welcoming and cared for our Bella like one of her own..She gave updates and sent pictures the entire stay. I highly recommend her services. Bella also was taken for walks and fed great. We are glad we chose Tamikia. Don't hesitate with your pets for her care/ services.”

“Bryce was great with Alfie! It took Alfie some time to settle in which made me a bit nervous but Bryce ensured me that he had things under control and Alfie would be okay. He was even patient with me because I was worried! Bryce was also very accommodating when I had the dates incorrect due to the time zone. He quickly responded and modified the date. He was great! Thank you Bryce!”

“He was above and beyond. My new rescue had to be left behind for the holidays and wasn’t super comfortable yet, so he had some behavioral issues and, I’m embarrassed to say, ruined some of George’s valued possessions. George was beyond kind and gracious/understanding. He sent pictures and videos of my dog playing with his and I could see that he was having a good time”

“All the hype about Dante is true! He’s communicative, accommodating, and really great energy. He asks a lot of questions to ensure my Kado was well taken care of. Dante is someone who truly loves what he does and that makes me happy. I think Kado and I found a permanent sitter until Dante retires us lol”

“Donte boarded my senior German Shepherd for 5 days including Christmas Day. She was well cared for, receiving her medications twice a day to manage her hip arthritis and pain from IVDD. She came home rested and without any signs of over exertion, which can be difficult to manage while other dogs are boarded. My only concern was that I had become used to Rover hires providing a daily update; I had not explicitly asked for this and Donte sent one unprompted update (on Christmas), but he was very quick to respond when I reached out to check in on her. He also offered an important observation at pick up about the length of my dogs back toenails, indicating careful attention to the dog’s wellbeing.”

“Grizzly had so much fun with Angela. Kept me updated with photos and videos everyday and amazing with communicating with me. Definitely recommend her to watch your dog, she’s great!”

“Bernice came home a happy and tired pup after a week with Brian and his family! We received pictures and updates throughout the week, letting us know she was safe and happy, and definitely in her glory with her new pup friends! We’ll definitely be using Brian again!”

“Liam was great! Left my dog for the first time to go on vacation and he sent me multiple texts a day with pictures to assure me things were going smoothly. He was very flexible and accommodating. My dog loved him and will no doubt book with Liam again!”

“Bridget was fantastic!!! She updated us daily with pictures and videos, and KoKo looked like she was having a great time! So thankful for KoKo to be in such a warm and loving environment... gave us such peace of mind and we were able to really enjoy our vacation! Thank you so much Bridget! We will be back:) I think KoKo misses her window and you and your wonderful family... thank you!”
