“This was the first time our 14 year old rat terrier had stayed with anyone but a family member. It was easy to locate Brandon on Rover and to arrange for a meet. Brandon has a dog of his own and both dogs made friends immediately. Brandon’s inside play area for the dogs was clean and spacious. There was a park adjacent to his apartment, so we were confident that all would work out well. After an initial getting settled in, everything was fine. I’ve helped with dogs as small as malteses and as big as goldendoodles! Ive also helped dogs with specific needs such as blind and older dogs! I’m part remote and kids are in nursery school part time so someone is usually always home throughout the week. Weekends are usually spent exploring a park or playground. If I’m dog sitting that week the pup always comes along! Always looking to get some fresh air, exercise, and meet new fur friends! I have a fenced (aluminum) in yard and my house is baby proof so gates in play room and upstairs. Your pet will become a fur family member while you are away and my kids and husband will love them. About: Diagnosed with allergies in childhood, I didn’t have pets until in my 20s, when I picked a week-old kitten from a litter & raised him. Thelonious used to walk between my shoulders as I moved around the house, and slept in my bed. Friends told me he behaved more like a dog than a cat—very affectionate. We were very close. His death broke my heart & I still miss him. Seven years ago, I did cat-sitting for a friend whose apartment in NYC I stayed in for a summer while working nearby on Varick Street. He was a very easygoing cat. Years later, my stepson left his dogs at our house & I was their primary minder. I fed, walked & played with them every day. Although I’d been around dogs a lot growing up, it’s one thing to be around them & another to be responsible for them & develop relationships with them. “Chelsea was a wonderful caretaker to our dog while we were on vacation. She was incredibly responsive with questions, check-ins, and sent us photos and updates on a daily basis. Our dog loved spending time with her and her pets as well. She took incredible care of our dog and we would absolutely reach out to her again to take care of our pet.”

“Anish was absolutely amazing with our dog Max. Having being a long term dog owner, he knew all about how to handle our dog Max . I felt at ease from the time Max was dropped off till the time we picked Max up. Anish took the extra effort to make sure Max was taken for walks even in the pouring rain, and give him plenty of exercise and company. Max returned home happy, rested & well exercised. I highly recommend Anish to take care of your pet, its their home away from home.”
About: I am a father of 2 & 4-legged kids and the go-to dogsitter for friends and family. I am reliable and my schedule is flexible. I am the primary caregiver of my son when he's not in school. The rest of my schedule is often flexible, especially with advance notice.
