About: I have been caring for unwanted and wayward animals for 30 years. All of our pets have been adopted as strays, from shelters or rehoming. We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. About: I grew up with dogs. They are my comfort place. Ever since I got a golden retriever at 10 years old, I've been in love. Now I care and love any dog in need of a friendly and homey place to stay while their dog owner is away. I have experience in extended time care for small dogs, like Yorkshire Terriers, Medium dogs, like Australian Shepherds or Pitbulls, and Large dogs, like Golden Retrievers. I also have experience training puppies and caring for older dogs, as well as dogs who take medication. I take pride in loving and caring for a dog like they are my own while under my care. I ensure the pups bring their favorite toys over and I take time to play with them and show them love. I have a lot of green space around my apartment where I can take the dogs out to the bathroom or walks on a leash, a path by the water walking distance to take them on further walks if wanted, and a dog park in walking distance to play. If at the owner's house, I make sure the dog has fun in their comfort place, but I also make sure to leave just as clean as I found it. I can stay for a little bit and let the pup run around the yard if possible, or I can take them on walks in areas they know by home.
