“We have booked Ashley two times now. We have an Australian Shepherd who is very energetic and has separation anxiety from his family. We have typically boarded him with a more traditional kennel in the past. He would leave his time there with no voice, because he was barking the whole time, and very anxious. When we made the switch to Ashley, his entire experience has changed! He is going on hikes and spending time with his new friends and when we pick him up he is exhausted from all of his adventures. We get frequent updates with pictures and videos so we can see how much fun he is having. As his human, I would feel bad for our boy when we would leave him at the traditional, but now when we leave him with Ashley I know he is going to have a good experience and the care and attention he deserves when we are out of town. If you are on the fence about boarding with Ashley, don’t be!”

Courtney sent the cutest photos while we were away, it was nice to see how relaxed and happy he was. Albie is our *everything* and I am usually pretty anxious about him... I honestly didn't worry about him at all. I wouldn't have minded knowing more about his day-to-day but I didn't want to be "that" pet parent and ask a bunch of questions. I knew he was in great hands though and I'm sure she would have been patient with my helicopter parenting, haha. So, yes, we would absolutely trust Courtney with Albie again. About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats my entire life, with most of my pets coming from shelters and rescues. This experience has given me a strong appreciation for different temperaments, routines, and comfort levels. Currently, I live with my partner Caley (also on Rover!) and an 8 year old domestic shorthair cat named Barnett. We reside in walking distance of North Beach in Hampton. About: For pretty much most of my entire life I’ve had a dog. I gave them all the love I had and they did the same right back at me. Currently we own a beautiful 4yr old Golden named Sammy. He is gentile playful loving and silly. When a dog walks into our home it takes about 30 seconds and just like that Sammys got a new best friend. My business is in insurance sales which has me doing most of my work from home. This allows me to take great care of my dog Sammy and any of his friends. We’ve got a spacious open concept home with a big grassy fenced in back yard for lots of play time. We can also easily crate your dog if needed. About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!
About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

“We have booked Ashley two times now. We have an Australian Shepherd who is very energetic and has separation anxiety from his family. We have typically boarded him with a more traditional kennel in the past. He would leave his time there with no voice, because he was barking the whole time, and very anxious. When we made the switch to Ashley, his entire experience has changed! He is going on hikes and spending time with his new friends and when we pick him up he is exhausted from all of his adventures. We get frequent updates with pictures and videos so we can see how much fun he is having. As his human, I would feel bad for our boy when we would leave him at the traditional, but now when we leave him with Ashley I know he is going to have a good experience and the care and attention he deserves when we are out of town. If you are on the fence about boarding with Ashley, don’t be!”

“Nicole and Josh watched my mom’s dog Missy who has never been away from her before. They communicated every day with pictures and gave updates on how she was doing. She adjusted well and loved going out in their yard and getting exercise! She felt like she was at home and we were very comfortable knowing she was well taken care of while we were away. There were a few dogs that they cared for during the day and Missy fit right in and they all got along great!!! I would definitely recommend them to board your dogs!”

She loves dogs and treated ours as if he was her own (feeding, walks, playtime, safety). She would’ve taken him to the beach the next morning but we had to pick him up early and drive back to NYC. We would 100% recommend her when you’re in the Kittery/Portsmouth area!”

“I am so glad and grateful that Shana and Dylan watched my pup this week. I could not have asked for anyone better!! I adopted my dog less than two weeks ago and - still getting to know her - had a trip planned and needed to board her for 5 days. I was hoping for someone to treat my dog like their own and Shana and Dylan did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for - letting her snuggle with them at night, sending me frequent updates and pup pics, going out of their way to pick up beef and rice and cook it for my girl when her stool was soft, and packing the rest to go when I picked her up. Their dog Cleo is a sweetheart, and joined in on the doggy snuggles. I know if I ever need a sitter again I’ll be reaching out to Shana.”
