“This was the first time my partner and I left our cats longer than eight hours since we adopted them. I knew I wanted to make sure they had someone who could not only to feed them twice a day, but provide a presence for them. Jason took care of our cats while we were gone and when we arrived, it was like they hardly noticed we were gone. They were happy to see us, of course, but they were perfectly content and happy when we got home. About: Your pup must be respectful of cats please. I completely understand curiosity, just not stalking or chasing. I took so much care of our lab when she was 15 and had Cushings. I definitely have a sweet spot for senior pets. She has since crossed the 🌈. Max is our 5 yr old Husky/Lab mix and he's our sweet big boy. We have love for big and small dogs! We have a huge grassy 6 and 4 ft fenced in yard (we connected to our neighbors 4 ft fence - see pictures) and Max would seriously love a friend to play with or just chill with. My husband and I work from home so one of us will be home all the time. We usually go on a mid morning walk and an evening walk, weather permitting. My kids are 11 and 16 and adore animals. We have a cat, Freddy, who loves Max. We will love your pet like they were our own ♥️ My husband and I work from home full-time. Our dog has separation anxiety so one of us will be home when your pet is here! We have a 6 and 4 ft privacy fence, large grassy backyard. Max gets on the leather couch but not our fabric couch or bed. He doesn't ever try. We wake up early to feed Max at 7 so early mornings is a non issue in our house! I have five years of experience in doggy day cares and grooming for cats as well. I have extensive knowledge in enrichment activities for cats and dogs. I believe that the key to a happy pet is mental enrichment and stimulation. I do potty breaks every 2-3 hours depending on age.
About: I have loved animals since I came out of the womb. I have 2 cats myself and I absolutely love dogs. I have taken care of animals since I was 10. I also have volunteered at the humane society. I would absolutely love to meet your fur babies and the owners of course. I do online school, so I am very flexible when it comes to watching over your pets. I can wake up early and stay late. Whatever you need. I would love to keep your fur baby company, take them on walks (short or long), play with them, and obviously learn all about their little quirks.
About: I've had and cared for pets my entire life. I've cared for dogs, cats, chickens, fish, ducks, snakes, a crab, hamsters, and rabbits, no partridge in a pear tree yet! I’m a graphic designer so I work from home. This mean I have very flexible availability to work from my clients home and give their pets a lot of extra love and care throughout the day. I also occasionally work on a farm but wouldn’t be away from my client’s pets for more than 4 hours. I understand that some dogs need to be tired out in order to relax and some would just prefer belly rubs on the couch for hours. I love spending time outside and going to the gym so I would love to take your pup on a long walk to get their energy out if that's something they need! I do have experience caring for elderly and handicapped dogs as well and I know they require lots of love and patience. I really value the safety of your pet and home as my first priority so anything I can do to accommodate you and your dogs needs I am more than happy to do so. I like to send photo updates to keep you in the loop and will always defer to your preferences and instructions when caring for your pup. I work a Monday to Friday 9-5 job, and am very blessed to have a flexible job where I can leave during lunch and or in the afternoon again if need be. For drop in visits/walks I am available during lunchtime, or after 5pm. If I am staying in-home while you are gone I will swing by over lunch to spend time with your pup, take them outside, etc. If they require more times to be let outside I am typically able to leave another time during the day so they have two breaks during the 8am to 5pm timeframe. I am happy to discuss logistics and accommodate to you and your pups needs! While I staying in your home, or if I am just dropping by to take your pup on a quick walk, I am very conscious of safety and privacy. I understand it takes a level of trust to allow someone in your home when you are gone and am especially aware of locking doors behind me when coming and going, as well as respecting your privacy. I air on the side of caution and will always reach out to you directly if any issues were to ever arise!
