I work full time M,W,Th,F (every Tuesday off) from 8:00am-5:00pm. With 2 dogs of my own (cavalier/shih tzu/bichon (17lb) and golden retriever (60+ pounds), we have a timely feeding and walking routine. Your pup will fit right in! About: I have lived with and cared for cats of all ages since I was a child. From a litter of kittens I had to raise, to some ornery seniors that fell in love with me. I love them all. About: I am an experienced pet care taker. I had a dog of my own for 7 years before she passed away of a heart condition. I now have the best Rottie in the earth. Before that my family had dogs and cats growing up. I also consistently foster animals through one of the organizations in town. All dogs on my profile are dogs I either owned, fostered, or babysat. I love to spend as much time with the dogs I am sitting! If it’s the weekend only this is easy to do - If your dog would like a friend my Rottie would like to come with! If not no worries at all! For weekdays: I work from home and can make moving to your home work but will need a desk space or active table space with the ability to plug in - and preferably the ability to bring my 4 year old friendly Rottie with me. If I am unable to bring her what I have done in the past is work from my home and then spend the evening/night with your dog. I always make a lunch break work for this plan. This often mimics similar to a 8-5 schedule. We can definitely discuss details on this! She is part of a team that helps a rescue in town dog test new dogs on their reaction to others! “Cats did fine under her care. One of my cats didn’t interact with her at all, which is her personality, she is shy around anyone but me. The other cat warmed to her and would greet her at the door. I couldn’t give five stars because the litter box was disgusting when I got home. The ammonia smell was immense and as tired as I was from my trip, I had to change it immediately. I will give better instructions for that next time.”
About: Growing up I had a cat who was my best buddy for 17 years so most of my cat experience comes from him. I’ve also babysat pets both dogs & cats for family friends starting at age 11. As an adult I’ve worked at a few different doggie daycares that also offered boarding for cats and was in charge of caring for them. I also stop by and check in on a family friend’s cat pretty frequently whenever she’s out of town. I usually go there once a day for 1-3 hours to spend time with her kitty and make sure there’s food, water & clean litter!

On our trip, we decided to stop through Fargo where my family is from and take in NDSU football game — Go Bisons! We needed someone to watch Jack for the few hours we were at the game, and Taylor readily accepted our last minute (day before) request. Jack is a calm, friendly dog who seems to have been experiencing some anxiety on the long drive and is not consistently eating or pooping. We were a little nervous leaving him with new people in a new place when he was already on edge. However, Taylor and her family seemed to put him at ease immediately. Taylor kept us updated with pictures and milestones, and when we picked him up he had eaten all of his food, pooped, and played a bunch outside. He seemed happy, calm, and well cared for. I’ve trained my own dogs through three levels of obedience and raised five of them from the time they were 8 weeks old and took care of them through their elderly years including in pup wheel chairs. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies to independent cats and senior pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I work school hours during the week and have Thursdays at home, which gives me extra flexibility for pet care. Outside, we have a large grassy area directly across the street that provides plenty of space for walks, playtime, and potty breaks. I take the dogs outside every 3–4 hours (or more often if needed) to ensure they stay comfortable and get plenty of fresh air. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. If your pup is crate trained or requires crating for their routine, I’m happy to accommodate that. Otherwise, they’ll be treated like part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and, of course, all the cuddles they’re comfortable with!
About: I have three large dogs on the farm, all of them fila Brazilian breed, and I have always taken care of them. About: From 8 weeks old to senior pups, I’ve seen it all! Whether it’s basic canine knowledge, walking, bathing, medication administration, or pet snuggles, I’ve got you covered! I work full time M,W,Th,F (every Tuesday off) from 8:00am-5:00pm. With 2 dogs of my own (cavalier/shih tzu/bichon (17lb) and golden retriever (60+ pounds), we have a timely feeding and walking routine. Your pup will fit right in! With a two story house, patio, and open yard with a walking path nearby, the opportunities are endless for your pups needs to be met! Your pet can snuggle up on the furniture and/or bed or be crated if that is your preference.

“Taylor's care was simply fantastic. Her own dogs are so gentle and welcoming; you can see that Taylor and her husband are dog lovers. My dog craves exercise, so I was a little hesitant about how she would adjust to staying in an apartment, but I should never have worried! Taylor made sure she had lots of safe, outside, running time at the park! She sent us pictures and updates, and although Sydney was glad to see me, she was also stress-free and obviously well cared for. I recommend Taylor 100%.”

About: I'm a PE teacher so I love to go for walks and play with your furry friend. I'm also available to take your dog on a light jog or hike. I've had dogs most of my life and love meeting new furry friends. I've had dogs as small as 5lbs and as big as 85lbs. I'm comfortable with all types, sizes, and breeds. I am capable of following any special instructions/ medications/diets as well. I have higher availability during school breaks but can still make it work during the regular work week. About: Three years as a veterinary assistant and a current pre vet student has prepared me to provide attentive, trustworthy, loving care for every pet I’m entrusted with. I’m currently working full time but will be switching to part time come end of August. I’m available for boarding after 5 pm all week and all day throughout the weekend! I live in a small house close to NDSU and love going on walks (especially with your pet)! I provide a safe, clean, stress free environment by following routines, securing hazards, monitoring pets closely, and treating every home with respect and care. I am comfortable administering any medications your pet is on and do not mind allowing pets on furniture but will follow your rules if you do not:)
