About: I've been pet sitting cats since I was a teenager. I consistently pet sat for my neighbors cat around age 14 until we moved states. Most of my experience with cats comes from pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and family. My best friend and college roommate got a cat at 6 months old while we lived in the dorms together and helping them raise her made me hope to have a cat of my own someday, but for now I try to cat sit for as many friends as possible. I often look after my sisters boyfriend's cat when they go on short trips together and consider him mine at this point. In addition to cat sitting, I became known as the cat person at the kennel I worked at for 3+ years. Every so often we'd get 2-6 cats boarding and I was the designated kennel attendant to get cats out of their runs and into the arms of their owners. All my coworkers knew to find me in the cat room, making it become an ineffective hiding place for when I was done with work early. While at the kennel, I also had experience administering medication through pill and shot form for an older/disabled cat (no aggression or risk of biting).

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We love all animals and will treat them like our own. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. Bailey is friendly as can be, however I know animals can get nervous in new environments. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

I carefully follow instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, litter-box care, and household routines. I am dependable, respectful of your home, and committed to providing clear communication and regular photo updates so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m currently on sabbatical, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to pet care. I’m available for weekday and weekend walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, including daytime, evening, and overnight care. I can often accommodate last-minute requests as well. I provide care in your home, where your pet can remain comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, potty breaks, litter-box care, and home security. During walks and visits, I prioritize safe leash handling, secure doors and gates, and awareness of other animals and surroundings. I will also provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I've always enjoyed taking care of animals all of my life. While not being able to own too many myself, I have always opted to taking care of other's pets, whether it be dogs, cats, or something else. I am always happy to see/find new experiences, and am up to the challenge for anything new! I'm taking online classes currently, so my schedule is open after 8AM! If needed slightly earlier, I will try my best to compensate for such a need, as my schedule is very flexible. I live in a townhouse, so I do not have a fenced yard or any of the sort, however, I can provide a quality experience with your pets in attention and exercise!

About: Taken care of dogs all of my life including my own and friends/family’s dachshunds, German Shepards, Terriers, Hounds, Poodles, Labradoodles, and even a few Labrador Retrievers! I work remotely and run a few times a week, so I can manage most dog’s activity level well thanks to my flexible work schedule. I’m also experienced with dogs requiring special feeding or medication. My schedule is built around my flexible remote work as a non-profit director writing analysis of legislation. I go for a morning and evening walk that I would love to take your pup on! Alternatively, I am happy to visit your dogs at your home! My large home with a fenced in backyard gives your dog lots of areas to mingle with me or have some quiet time. My activity level is also high, so I can accommodate younger dogs or active dogs.
