About: I've owned and been around dogs my whole life, as well as chickens, hamsters, rats, etc(which I am also open to caring for your exotics). I currently have a 3 you golden doodle and a 9 month old boxer and a 12 yo cat as well as children which I feel gives me a superior ability to care for living things. I'm a stay at home parent so I have a large availability to watch your pets in my home as well as do drop in visits for you. We have two inside dogs who are fairly well trained and stay in our fenced in yard when they're out to potty and have plenty of space to run around.

About: I have always cared for animals both in my family as well as with friends and neighbors for approximately 13 years. I am an NC State graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science with a lot of knowledge to bring including the best ways to care for your animal, ensure their safety, and even train new commands. Not only can I care for dogs and cats, but I can also care for rodents, birds, reptiles, etc. During the summer I will be mostly available during the week. About: I’ve been passionate about caring for animals my entire life and have owned dogs for as long as I can remember. Professionally, I have nearly 9 years of experience in the pet care industry, including working at a veterinary hospital and currently serving as the General Manager and Co-owner of a dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and training facility. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m experienced in administering medications, including insulin injections, oral medications, IV fluids, topical treatments, and more. I love every dog that I meet and care for like they are my own fur babies. My dogs personally are spoiled brats and I feel like that is the only right way to dog mom haha!
About: I grew up with cats and dogs of all kinds and ages. Senior and puppy/kitten pet care are part of my experience. From long walks, to fun games, to specialty foods and injury recovery, I’ve seen and done it all. Your pets will be well loved and cared for by me. Currently, I have a wide open schedule as I prepare for my next job in the next few months. I can do multiple walks a day or stay overnight with pets. I can offer caring for your pets in your own home and will utilize your resources appropriately and safely. My own home, if truly needed, is in a lovely neighborhood for nice walks, with a fenced in backyard. Currently, there are no other pets in the house.

About: My husband and I have had at least one dog our whole lives. After college, many years ago, I started working in a regular veterinary clinic and an emergency veterinary clinic for approximately five years until starting in my current career field. I have experience in administering medication and caring for dogs with mobility issues both from my previous employment and taking care of my own dogs throughout their lives. My husband is retired and is frequently home throughout the day. We have a 13 year old son who is active and loves dogs also. Our dog, Scout, is an Australian Shepherd mix. We adopted her in 2019. She always enjoys having a friend to pal around with in our backyard or watching the world go by from her window seat in our house. I currently work full time and typically get home around 4:30pm. My husband is retired and is at home for most of the day. My son is also excited to start helping to care for the dogs that we invite into our home. I have a large fenced in yard and our dog gets along easily with other dogs. I do have a medium sized crate at our house if a crate is needed. Our dog does not get crated.
“This was our first time using Miriam to board our fur baby Pepper for the weekend. We were a little nervous since we had a regular sitter for years until we moved a couple months ago. She helped us have peace of mind by showing us where our dog would be staying as well as asking us questions that would help her to care for Pepper. Miriam was very transparent and also introduced us to her doggie 🐶. Everything went smoothly and she kept us updated throughout the weekend. We were also pleasantly surprised that our dog was not as nervous as we thought she would be and was able to adapt quickly. Definitely recommend Miriam and will be using her services again.”
