About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was younger. I would get paid to walk dogs around my neighborhood and to check on cats. I love hanging out and loving on all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I treat and love your pets as if they are my own! You can expect the best care and love for your pets when you book with me! I love to send tons of pictures to pet parents to ease their minds when they are away from their fur babies! Also, forgive the last picture on profile unsure how it got in there and why it is there! Can’t delete it either. :) I just graduated from Wake Forest University, where I played volleyball. Volleyball taught me a lot about discipline and also shows that I am a very reliable person when it comes to scheduling and time management. I am a current graduate student in the SLP (speech-language pathology) program at App State and am available most evenings and all weekends! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed. Cats, I am also available to do whatever is helpful and needed! I have my own space with no other animals!
“It was great working with Jill. She communicated well with me during the process, and sent me pictures of Trex while I was away from him. I am confident to say that this will be one of many more visits with Jill in the future.”

“Amanda was wonderful. She was so easy and flexible with our meet and greet. Sent pictures and updates on McKenzie. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing McKenzie was happy playing with her dog and snuggling with her boys. You know your dog was happy when she wasn’t in any hurry to get in the car to go home. I will absolutely use Amanda again!”

“Excellent care. Fran went above and beyond caring for our dog. He had tummie issues while we were gone and Fran even cooked special food for him and fixed the problem. Her communication was very informative the entire time. Fran even went to our vet for ear drops. Wow! We could not have found a better sitter than her. A real GEM!!!!”

“Gracie is a great dog sitter, she communicates well and timely, clearly loves animals, and provided a safe and loving home for my dog. Attie (my dog) had a great time fetching balls and playing with her dog toys. Gracie even sent a couple of balls home with her. I would highly recommend Gracie, and would not hesitate to ask her to dog sit again.”

About: “I’ve had dogs as companions since I was a child, and they’ve always been cherished members of my family. I treat every animal in my care like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.” “Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, not just a job, but something I truly love. Living in the Appalachian mountains has taught me the value of a calm, grounded lifestyle, and I bring that same peaceful energy into the care I provide. I treat every pet like family and pay close attention to their unique personality and needs, whether they’re playful, shy, elderly, or needing extra comfort while you’re away. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, loved, and at home in my care.” “I care for every pet with the same attentiveness and love that I give my own children. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I work hard to create a calm, dependable environment where pets feel secure and cared for.
“Elizabeth was really nice. She sent photos and updates that made us feel comfortable. Peanut has to eat four times a day and take medication, and Elizabeth didn't have any problems with that and let us know that he stayed up to date on his meds. Peanut was relaxed when we picked him up. He didn't seem stressed at all. We would book with Elizabeth again. Super grateful to have found her for a last minute business trip!”

About: As a former veterinary assistant, I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and some exotics. As well as dog sitting for friends. But before that, I grew up an animal lover, naturally. From when I was young until now, I’m known for bringing in lost or injured animals— whether it’s a dog or an owl, no animal left behind, friends. ✌️ I have a bachelors in Biology/pre-veterinary science and for the last 11 years I’ve lived on a farm in old beech mountain community with 2 dogs, chickens, and help with my neighbors cattle when I can. I’m familiar with numerous dog breeds and knowledgeable on all ages. From puppy training to complicated senior care, I’ve walked through just about it all. But more importantly, I’ll love your babies as my own. They will be snuggled (if they’re into that) and have plenty of yard to run and explore. *because of my sons cat allergies/asthma, I cannot bring cats into my home. But I’m more than happy to do a drop-by visit to yours to care for them there. I’m currently working more remote days for the summer so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’ll keep my calendar updated with my switching working schedule. But weekends are almost always open! I have plenty of yard for them to run around and explore, as well as 2 very friendly dogs of my own to keep them company. Or if they’re a couch potato, I have one of those too and plenty of couch. I’m a homebody so I will be home with them. If you have special care instructions, that’s not a problem at all.
“Katy was great! She was very communicative and willing to flexible about drop off time/location. She sent some updates and pics of Bender, and he was healthy and happy when we picked him up.”

“Kourtney went above and beyond for our Lady. Lady lost a tooth while she was with her and she put the tooth in a baggie for us to keep and gave her a tooth fairy gift. She was so good with Lady. She sent pictures and updates to us daily and our Lady was a happy girl when we picked her up. Thank you so much Kourtney!”

“Our pup Kalvin had a great week with Melissa and her family! It was my first time leaving my dog for an extended period of time and she made me feel very comfortable. She sent me photos and gave me update everyday! 10/10 service!”

“Kayla was awesome with our dog, and super flexible. We had to go out of town unexpectedly and I’m so glad we found her. She even watched our baby ducklings for us. Highly recommend!”
About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently share my home with my husband and three friendly dogs and two cats who love to socialize with new friends (as long as they are calm and polite around cats). Living on 5 beautiful acres, we have plenty of space for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy fresh air. There’s also a fenced area for safe outdoor time and a quiet room inside for pets who prefer their own space or need downtime away from others. I treat every pet as part of the family - providing personalized care, a comfortable environment, and lots of love and attention. Whether it’s an overnight stay or doggy daycare, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and right at home. I work from my home office, so I’m here throughout the day to give pets plenty of attention and supervision. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust to each pet’s normal routine - whether that means morning walks, midday playtime, or cozy afternoon naps. Dogs enjoy frequent outdoor time or inside play depending on the weather and their comfort level. While I do occasionally step away for short appointments, pets are never left alone for more than two hours at a time, and always in a safe, comfortable space. Your pets will get lots of love, care, and companionship - not just supervision, but genuine quality time. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. Cleanliness and safety are part of my daily routine: food and water are refreshed regularly, litter and waste are promptly managed, and all playtime is supervised. Your pets will enjoy a spacious, peaceful environment, balanced socialization, multi-pet expertise, personalized attention, flexible accommodations, and all-day care. I keep a close eye on each guests’ comfort, routine, and personality, ensuring they get the right mix of activity, affection, and rest. About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.
About: I love dogs and cats and grew up with both in my home since I was a baby. I pet sit on the side for friends and family and have loved it. I love to play and cuddle and walk your dogs. I live in the North Wilkesboro area. I have one dog who is 3 yrs old and loves friends. I am an administrator by trade so dedicated, hard-working, and responsible. I am clean and tidy so you don't have to worry about coming home to a dirty house. I don't mind cleaning up after myself or your pet. I work full time 8-4:30. I am home on the weekend. I spend my nights and weekends with my dog so we can easily include yours as well! I have one 3 year old female dog. She is fixed, trained and won’t be a problem. We go on walks and I have a long chain for the dogs to explore the yard with. I live in a safe neighborhood with no worries or issues. I treat the dogs like family. They can be on furniture and I normally do not crate my dog. If yours needs crated I have a spare room so they can feel safe and not upset not being with my dog.

“Anaiah was a wonderful cat sitter! She did her daily drop in visits at approximately the same time each day and provided wonderful pictures that allowed us to see how happy our cat was to see her!!”

“Kitty , was great! My 2 boys are abit shy and picky as to whom they share their affection with. But Kitty won them over, to my surprise. I will be contacting Kitty again in the near future for another drop by take care of Blue Boy and BlackJack. I would recommend to anyone in this area to contact Kitty for drop in care of their critters.”

About: I've been taking care of my kitty girl, Ruby, for over 13 years, feeding, cleaning, brushing and bathing her. Shes temperamental so trust me, I can handle any cat. I've helped watch neighbors cats while their gone, and have even worked at Safe Haven; a volunteer cat shelter off of Durant Rd.
“Gracie did an outstanding job watching my pets while I was away. She does a great job communicating both before I left when I was making sure she knew what I needed as well as sending me updates and some photos while I was away. I will definitely hire her again.”

“Can't say how much we appreciate Kayli. A feral cat brought her 5 kittens into my shop 6 weeks ago. We had our summer vacation already booked and desperately needed a caring quality person to come and feed and play with our new dependents. We rescued the kittens, Kayli rescued us. We purchased a large cage we call the cat castle. Kayli would come in the morning and let them play, and while cleaning up and then feed the crew. She would come back and do this procedure again in the evening. Kayli was also kind enough to bring in deliveries that you think were properly put on hold but for some reason shipped anyway. We came home to happy well adjusted and ready to be adopted kittens. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their furry family members. Kayli has a big heart and a great work ethic.”
“Megan and Josh were absolutely amazing house sitters! They took the best care of my girl Khloe, sent me daily photo updates, and left the house way cleaner than it was before. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Jimena took good care of our dog while we went to explore Grandfather Mountain and they only allow dogs in the nature discover center if one has a service dog. Next time we return to Boone, we will definitely reach out to Jimena especially when we plan to explore areas that do not allow fur babies. She created a lovely space for dogs to run and or relax. Thanks Jimena.”

“Kitty was amazing with my dog! She made sure my pup was comfortable with her dogs and the fenced in yard. She sent me a bunch of photos and updates throughout the day. Highly recommend and would happily book with her again.”

“Lane is great with our dogs and so sweet to accommodate a last minute booking when we unexpectedly couldn’t take our dogs with us on a short trip. Our dogs love running and playing with his dogs in their large fenced shady back yard and I love that they are treated like one of the family at Lanes. Would definitely recommend!”

“Melissa was great. We were traveling with our dog and wanted to bike the Virginia Creeper Trail. Melissa's house was about 20 min from the bike rental shop in Damascus, and it worked out perfectly to drop off our dog for a few hours while we biked. She has a big fenced in the back yard.”

Morning, afternoon or evening, I'm available for your pet care needs. My pets are well taken care of and honestly a little spoiled 🤭. We have different foods for different cat needs, we don't use cheap food brands in our household. Our dog is walked at least 5 times a week, sometimes more. Each animals gets individual attention and plenty of pets. I make my own treats to give my dog her medicine and also try other pet recipes from time to time. All animals are vaccinated, de-wormed, and get vet check-ins annually.
“Leaving our beloved dog, Abby, with a total stranger was a first for us, but we were camping and needed a dog sitter for half a day. From the moment we got out of the truck, Gracie was interacting with Abby. It was like they were old friends. Abby had a fun day with Gracie, her dog, and the fenced in backyard. Gracie also sent us the cutest picture. She deserves the 5-star rating and has our highest recommendation!”

“Kourtney was fabulous with our two pups while we biked the nearby Creeper Trail. She is friendly, took wonderful care of them, provided exercise and treats. We would definitely visit her again!”

“We’re expecting our first child so it was so important to find the right sitter to watch our fur baby! He had a great time I loved receiving the pictures. I can’t thank Jill and her family enough!!!”

With me, your met will enjoy country-style play, cozy indoor time, and loving attention.
