I genuinely enjoy being active, whether that means long walks and jogs or playing fetch for half an hour. I'm out the door Monday- Friday from 0730 to approx. 1600. I could walk/run/feed your pets in the morning prior to then and anytime after I'm home from work. Saturday and Sunday I am very flexible :) I have two cats that I will keep upstairs to give your pet the privacy and space on the first floor when boarding. I live in a townhouse with a small front and backyard but would most likely be walking/ jogging around the block with your doggo if boarding.

Our dog hurt his leg two days before we were to leave on a eight day cruise and she took great care of him, giving him his medicine and making sure he didn’t jump, go down/up stairs or play too hard which anyone knows is hard in itself with a dog. She offered to take him to the vet if he got worse and kept us updated every day. They are amazing honestly and we definitely will be using her going forward. About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats, and as an adult, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two blind rescue dogs, as well as my current lovable 16-pound Aussiedoodle, Zoey. Zoey lives with me and gets along well with other dogs. For the past 2½ years, I’ve owned and operated a dog-walking and cat-care business, caring for a variety of neighborhood pets. My experience includes three 19-year-old cats, two medium and large Doodles, a Dachshund I’ve cared for since he was just 10 weeks old, and dogs of many different mixed breeds, ages, and personalities. My approach is to always let the animal lead. Both of my rescue dogs came from very difficult circumstances, and I learned how important patience, trust, and a sense of safety are. Rather than expecting an animal to immediately feel comfortable with me, I give them the time and space they need to open up on their own. With a calm, loving, and safe environment, that trust usually begins to develop naturally. I’m especially comfortable with animals who may be shy, fearful, cautious, or unsure of strangers. I take a very gentle approach, allowing them to get to know me at their own pace. Once they feel safe and comfortable, that’s when the magic unfolds! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that means sleeping in a crate at night or curling up on the bed. I live in a first-floor apartment facing a nice open green space, which makes it easy to provide frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. With pet-parent permission, it’s my norm to send daily updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m also comfortable administering medications and handling foods that require refrigeration or freezing. I watch dogs who are 1-25 lbs. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pet! I am currently retired so I am home most of the day/night. I live with my 16 lb non-shedding Aussie doogle dog, Zoey. I may step out to run errands, go to an appointment, other, but am otherwise at home. I allow dogs to sleep on my bed or stay in a crate at night, per pet parents wishes. If you are traveling and require a pick up after 6 pm just let me know so we can work something out. I live in an apartment on the first floor, so I have easy access to let dogs out for potty breaks as I face an open green space. For doggy daycare my hours are 8am-4pm. if you are unable to pick your dog up before 4:00, then they can be crated during 4-6:30pm. Or, I can drop them off by 4. Weekends I do not work so drop offs at 8am and pick ups are flexible. I can provide play time with my dog inside the home and outside in my yard. They will be supervised at all times by myself or my spouse. They can be let out hourly or more. Can go to the dog park in my neighborhood right behind my house during my lunch break and when I get off at 4. must be friendly with other dogs because my dog will be present! during the summer I only work 1 day/week so very open! I will not allow dogs out without a leash if there’s no fence, and I will always listen to an owners instructions on how to best care for their fur babies. in my home, I have a fenced in backyard. About: I previously worked at Allen Veterinary Clinic in Texas earning my Vet Tech Certification and am currently enrolled in online college after leaving the Marine Corps. My current is a GSD that I got as an 8 week puppy who is currently over a year old that I trained myself. I currently work about 6-8 hours a day but have a short commute to work so if needed, I am able to check in on pets on a more frequent basis. I take my dog outdoors pretty frequently since he’s high energy whether it be on walks or for play in the yard. At least once a week, I take him somewhere public to work on his socialization and training with distractions. We train pretty frequently as well and have to say he does pretty well so if you’d like, I can assist in anything you’re trying to train. Disclaimer though, I’m not a professional trainer, only dogs I’ve trained are the ones I’ve owned. I live in a house with a pretty large fenced yard. I’m a big advocate for dogs getting activity, whether that’s physical like a walk or play outside or if it’s any kind of mental stimulation. My dog is crate trained and stays in his crate while I am not at home. I would prefer the same of your pet to ensure safety of your fur baby while I am away. Once I’m home, I allow my dog to free roam the house and will do the same for yours. My dog has been around several dogs and cats and is very friendly, social and playful, however, if needed, I have the ability to separate animals that don’t get along to ensure their safety. About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have experience with many different breeds ranging from smaller dogs to bigger dogs. The experience I do have with Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and neighbors over the years. My fiancé and I have a dog she's a Beagle mix, she's probably she most friendly,energetic, quiet dog you could meet. We got her when she was 8 weeks old and could fit in the palm of my hand. Now she's a stubborn big back little girl that will do any trick you ask her if you have a treat in your hand. Love her though. Overall I love dogs, I feel like you can never be mad when you have one, not matter what bad things they do, they win you back over by being cute and friendly. Pet care fits in my schedule every day of the week rather it's caring for my own pet, or taking care of someone else's. It would have to be either after I get off work or before I go in. On weekends anytime would work. How I/we care for our pets at home is by walking our dog 3-4 times a day depend on how many times she has to use the bathroom. And by also feeding her 2-3 times a day depending on how much she ate the time before. -We walk our dog in the morning before work, when we get home from work, and at night before we go to bed. Majority of the we’ll feed her after she goes out in the morning and then feed her again when we get home from work.

About: Ever since I was little, my life has been based around animals. I’ve owned all sorts of pets and even helped to run a farm. I am comfortable with all pet needs and circumstances. About: I have been around dogs since I was born. My parents have always had at least one dog running around the house, and I now have one myself that lives with me! Layla has gotten me through some tough times and with that being said I know how important dogs (and cats) are in our lives. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs in my family, so caring for them and being around them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and keeping dogs happy and comfortable.
