“I can't recommend Robert and his family highly enough! From the moment I met them, I knew Bodie would be in excellent hands. They went above and beyond to ensure my dog felt comfortable and welcomed during my absence. They were attentive to Bodie's needs and even worked on commands. When I returned, Bodie was happy and relaxed. He had a great time playing in the fenced-in garden with other dogs. If you're looking for someone reliable and trustworthy Robert is your guy!”

“Kate was super friendly and took great care of my pup. He came home happy, tired and not stressed at all. She sent me pics and updates daily. She really put my mind at ease. I would use her again 100%”

“Erin was a great sitter! She provided lots of updates and my cattle dog had lots of fun running around with her golden retriever in their huge fenced yard. Would definitely use Erin again in the future!”

“Demetri had a great stay with Taylor & his family. It was his first visit and highly successful. I would recommend Taylor for your dog. He provides a safe, positive environment. We'll book with him again.”

“Michele was amazing! She sent regular updates and pics, allowed our dog to snuggle on the couch, has a great yard for the dog to run, and took her on regular walks. I will definitely be using Michele again!”

“Again the absolute best person in the world to take care of our son we were gone for 2 weeks this time and I had no worries now the only problem is he's so attached to her children that he said for 3 days whenever you bring him home thank you again to Kim and her family for taking such good care of teddy bear”

“I have never left my dog with anyone other than friends before, so I was really nervous. I brought Finn to Helena's to meet before our vacation, and he took to her immediately. She sent me photos of him every day we were gone, and it made me so happy to see how much they were enjoying each other! He had so much fun that he barely got excited to see me when I picked him up! LOL! Is there a better compliment from a dog? Helena is fabulous and we will be using her again!!!!”

“We had a great experience with Lauren caring for our small dog. Very communicative, and our dog was the same at pickup as dropoff and our dog was exhausted which is usually a good sign that she enjoyed her stay.”

“Samantha and her family were the best! They took such great care of Finn, he came home a very tired, happy boy. She was very quick to respond and provided daily updates with pictures while I was away. I will absolutely use this family again as a sitter. They are so trusting and I will be recommending them to all of my friends :)”

“Walker has some unexpected challenges while staying with Hilary and we felt that she navigated them well and also communicated them clearly. You don’t know what you don’t know sometimes! Our dog got plenty of exercise and playtime while there even though he had to stay crated more than usual. We were very pleased with Hilary!”

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats, and as an adult, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two blind rescue dogs, as well as my current lovable 16-pound Aussiedoodle, Zoey. Zoey lives with me and gets along well with other dogs. For the past 2½ years, I’ve owned and operated a dog-walking and cat-care business, caring for a variety of neighborhood pets. My experience includes three 19-year-old cats, two medium and large Doodles, a Dachshund I’ve cared for since he was just 10 weeks old, and dogs of many different mixed breeds, ages, and personalities. My approach is to always let the animal lead. Both of my rescue dogs came from very difficult circumstances, and I learned how important patience, trust, and a sense of safety are. Rather than expecting an animal to immediately feel comfortable with me, I give them the time and space they need to open up on their own. With a calm, loving, and safe environment, that trust usually begins to develop naturally. I’m especially comfortable with animals who may be shy, fearful, cautious, or unsure of strangers. I take a very gentle approach, allowing them to get to know me at their own pace. Once they feel safe and comfortable, that’s when the magic unfolds! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that means sleeping in a crate at night or curling up on the bed. I live in a first-floor apartment facing a nice open green space, which makes it easy to provide frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. With pet-parent permission, it’s my norm to send daily updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m also comfortable administering medications and handling foods that require refrigeration or freezing. I watch dogs who are 1-25 lbs. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pet! I am currently retired so I am home most of the day/night. I live with my 16 lb non-shedding Aussie doogle dog, Zoey. I may step out to run errands, go to an appointment, other, but am otherwise at home. I allow dogs to sleep on my bed or stay in a crate at night, per pet parents wishes. If you are traveling and require a pick up after 6 pm just let me know so we can work something out. I live in an apartment on the first floor, so I have easy access to let dogs out for potty breaks as I face an open green space. I live in a safe community with plenty of sidewalks and street lighting. I often walk my dog clients in the morning when it is cool outside, so they can get adequate exercise. On rainy days, I like to occupy your pet with tug-o-war, or a treat-kong, or playing with other toys. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys.
“Mia was amazing with my anxious dog Reya! She was very communicative, took great care of her, and sent me lots of pictures and videos throughout her stay. Would recommend Mia to anyone!”

“Angela did a great job of taking care of our dog! She kept us well informed of his activities and dogshe was playing with. She sent lot so pictures. I think our dog really enjoyed her backyard -- he doesn't have one at home.”

“We love having Rupert stay with Andrew and his family! Andrew is fantastic with communication, takes Rupert on plenty of walks, socializes him with his adorable cat Poe, and gave him his daily medications! We feel so great knowing Rupert is with a wonderful caretaker when we go out of town! We have used Andrew as a sitter multiple times and will continue to do so!”

“Rachel could not have been more caring. Oliver enjoy his time with Rachel and loved his playtime. She was so thoughtful to send pics and videos of her stay with Oliver.”

“Valerie provided exceptional care, great communication, and made us feel completely at ease while away. Our sweet boy was happy, well cared for, and loved the attention. We received regular updates and photos, which meant so much. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!”

“My dog stayed with Sue-Ling, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She took such wonderful care of my dog. Kind, patient, and really attentive to her needs. It was clear from the start that Sue-Ling truly loves animals and treats them like her own. There was a small health issue while I was away, but Sue-Ling handled everything calmly and responsibly. She kept me updated right away and made sure my dog was comfortable and safe. I felt completely reassured knowing she was in such good hands. I’m really grateful for the care and attention Sue-Ling gave to my dog, and I would absolutely trust her to look after her again anytime. She’s amazing!”

About: Growing up we had both dogs and cats in the house. As soon as I had an apartment that allowed dogs, I adopted my sweet and sassy pup snoopy. Over the years his mobility declined and I gained insight in how to care for an elderly pup including administering shots, and oral medication. Last year my fiancé and I adopted our sweet girl Betty. She tested us as a puppy, and provided an opportunity to learn about training a dog with a different personality from my first pup. I work as an RN Monday- Thursday and my fiancé works from home Monday- Friday. We live in a first floor apartment with a walk out patio. Our complex also has a dog park and plenty of space for long walks. We are a nonsmoking home with no children; just Betty and she is very friendly with other dogs. I recently relocated to the Cary area for work, but my new job does not start until mid October! Prior to the move, I was a full time student and working on Rover. My schedule is pretty open to care for your pets! I am familiar with different harnesses and the importance of leashing dogs when out and about. My apartment has several fenced dog areas and lots of outdoor walking space!

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was about 5 or 6 ! To neighborhood cats to friend cats . I believe what sets me apart from other sitters is the level of attention and care I give each cat as an individual. I take the time to learn their personality, routines, and what makes them comfortable, since cats can be very particular about their environment and people. I’m patient with shy cats, playful with energetic ones, and always make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their cat is being well cared for. My goal is to make every cat feel like they’re still in their normal routine and getting the same love and attention they would from their owner
“Samatha was awesome. She took great care of our cat when we were away and kept us informed. We never had any concerns our cat was not getting love and affection every day. I highly recommend.”

“Patricia did all visits in a timely manner, along with pictures. The cats looked like they were happy to see her & available for pictures. I appreciated the details she left me on each visit. All was good when we got back.”

About: Hi! I’ve been caring for dogs—from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups—for over 15 years. I treat every animal like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I understand how to adjust care based on their age and needs. I prioritize communication so you always know what’s going on, to make this as stress free as possible! I am a graduate student in school full-time, but my weekdays and weekends are very flexible. Please reach out to me with any special schedule requests! I am very clean and will leave your house spotless if caring overnight for your pet. I cater to the pets’ needs and will do everything I can to ensure a safe and fun environment!

About: I’ve owned and cared for cats for decades. I love cat’s personalities and playtime. I am very comfortable with giving them all the love and support they need including meds, snuggles and keeping their areas neat & clean.
About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and have cared for pets throughout my life. I currently share my home with three dogs: Harley, a 70-pound SuperMutt, and Biggie and Smalls, two Dachshund siblings. Living with dogs of very different sizes and personalities has taught me how important it is to adapt to each pet’s individual needs. I am comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, companionship, and multi-dog households. I am patient, dependable, attentive, and will care for your pets with the same respect and affection I give my own. Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine because I share my home with three dogs of different sizes and personalities. My days include regular meals, bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I can plan carefully around confirmed bookings so each pet receives dependable, unrushed care while staying as close as possible to their normal routine. I treat every pet’s safety, comfort, and routine as the top priorities. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, use leashes appropriately, supervise interactions, and separate pets during meals when needed. In my home, I would only accept pets that are a good fit with my three resident dogs and would introduce them gradually. In a client’s home, I am respectful of the space and provide regular updates so pet parents know their animals are safe and comfortable.

“So easy to communicate with and she sent us adorable photos and video of our kitty. We are so grateful she was able to come out on Christmas morning to feed and snuggle with Tabitha. Thank you!”

About: I absolutely love animals, and as a dog owner and RN who works long hours, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your fur baby. I love taking dogs for walks and will take the safety and well-being of your pet very seriously. I grew up with animals and have always loved caring for them. Some of my first jobs were house-sitting for clients, so I have experience being responsible for pets and homes while their owners are away. I would love the opportunity to chat with you about your needs and learn more about your fur baby! I currently only work three days a week so my schedule is flexible. I am willing to work with you to meet the needs of your pet. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always take the time to learn their routine, personality, and specific needs. In a client’s home, I’m happy to follow their usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any other care instructions. I also understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine consistent and give them plenty of attention and affection.
“Rebecca was wonderful with our cat Constantine. When Constantine was shy she helped her come out of hiding and explore her surroundings. Rebecca made sure Constantine felt safe in her home and provided her loving care while we were away.”

Familiar with senior pet care, giving meds, raising puppies & kittens and I love to snuggle. I am retired and am available night and day. I miss our senior dog that we rescued as a puppy who passed a few months ago. In need of snuggles! I have pretty large grassy backyard for your dogs activities and a sunroom with full length windows for your pet to watch for birds, squirrels, hummingbirds, ect. I don’t mind having pets on my furniture or in my bed. I will provide the routine that your pet is used too and I am very familiar with senior dog care and puppy care too. We are in a gated community and I will be able to be home most of the time with the exception of a few small errands.

“Taylor and his family were SO sweet and I could not be more grateful for them! Taylor sent lots of pictures and I could tell Beaux had a great time. We will definitely be booking with Taylor next time we’re in the area.”

“Jerry was absolutely amazing! My booking was pretty last minute because I was so scrambled that weekend, but Jerry was able to pull through and helped me so much! Bud looked like he had an absolute blast with Jerry and Bud got taken on so many new adventures which he looked like he absolutely loved. Jerry was even able to pick up Bud for me which saved me so much time that morning and gave him a bath for me before I went to go pick up Bud later that day! Jerry is literally so amazing and I will definitely book with him again in the future!”

“Helena was quick and thorough with communication. She went above and beyond to help Dakota feel comfortable. It is evident how much Helena loves dogs and wants them to feel at home. I felt very comfortable leaving my senior pup with her.”

“Melody was so sweet! My dog Roscoe had the best time with her and her dog, so much that he couldn’t stop playing the whole time he was there! She was so considerate and thoughtful! She gave him a bath (he was all dirty from the beach) and a cute little goodie bag when we left! So helpful to have him clean on our drive home! We are from out of town but definitely will be contacting her again when we need a sitter in Wilmington and will refer my friends to her! Worth every penny! Thank you!!”

“Desi was able to dog sit at her place near Boone on very short notice allowing me to attend a non dog friendly event. My dog had a great time exploring the property and meeting other friendly dogs. I would definitely work with Desi again as she is prompt, has clear availability and clearly loves dogs!”

“Extremely happy with the care and attention she gave Millie throughout her stay. Very accommodating and prompt communication. I loved getting little updates on how Millie was doing. Highly recommend! A BIG thank you!”

“Again the absolute best person in the world to take care of our son we were gone for 2 weeks this time and I had no worries now the only problem is he's so attached to her children that he said for 3 days whenever you bring him home thank you again to Kim and her family for taking such good care of teddy bear”

“Mia was amazing with my anxious dog Reya! She was very communicative, took great care of her, and sent me lots of pictures and videos throughout her stay. Would recommend Mia to anyone!”

“Adam was great! He made sure our energetic pup, Bruce, needs were met. This was our first time leaving our pup behind for a week, but we were beyond pleased with the experience. Adam made it easy and stress-free. He always responded whenever I checked in and was happy to send photos any time. We are so happy we have a great dog sitter for future boardings. Thank you again, Adam!”

“Incredibly thoughtful and accommodating! She took great care of my elderly, diabetic dog. Jenny was wonderful with photo updates and flexible despite travel delays. Thankful for you Jenny!”
“So good. My dog sometimes comes home pretty stressed, no fault of other boarders. But with Allie he was part of a great group of peaceful dogs and came home very relaxed. Great communication throughout his stay. Very good experience.”

“Harley thoroughly enjoyed staying with Rebecca in her home. Rebecca took great care of Harley with companionship, walks, playing and feedings this past weekend. We would definitely ask Rebecca to watch Harley again. Thank your Rebecca - you're the best!!”

“Haley is so wonderful and took great care of Charlie! Appreciate her flexibility with logistics and the sweet updates she sent of Charlie loving life with her new little friend 💛”

“Olivia was very attentive to our needs for Leila. She shared some great videos with us which made us feel relaxed & happy that our girl was well taken care of.”

“Melody was great from the first contact to when she dropped izzabella bear off (long flight, kids were tired). She is laid back and really cares about the dogs. I could tell from the first time I met her that she cared about my pup and really enjoys spending time with animals. I trusted her from the minute I met her. I am so glad someone recommended I try rover to find a pet sitter because I really didn’t want to board our golden doodle. Melody is a really nice person and someone I would actually like to get to know better. When I dropped our dog off, she was there ready to deal with the jumping (our pup is still a jumpy puppy). I have nothing but good things to say about melody and her care of our puppy. Her communication is excellent and speedy as well. Thanks again!! I’ll be calling you in the future!!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have grown up around pets. I’m responsible, patient and enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and specific quirks. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime or just keeping your pet company while you’re away. I’m a full-time college student and I’m not working currently, so I have a really flexible schedule. I also have a light class load this semester, which gives me plenty of free time throughout the week. Because of that, I’m able to be flexible with different pet schedules and spend plenty of time with them instead of just rushing in and out. I am able to work around your pet’s routine, whether they need a walk, playtime, to be fed, or just someone to hang out with. I’m very attentive when it comes to taking care of animals, and I always want to make sure I know your pet and their routine before you leave. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, watching them at my home for the day, house sitting at your home, etc. I pay close attention to things like feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, doors and gates, and any little details that are important to you. I will do everything I can to make your pet feel comfortable and safe while you’re away! Just a heads-up, I do have a cat at home, so any pets staying at my house would need to be comfortable around cats.
