“My dog had a great time and I had some of the best communication from a dog sitter that I’ve ever had, peace of mind is important to me, your pet is in good hands with Caitlin!”

About: Animals have always been the center of my life. I'm currently a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and PhD student at North Carolina State University, where I focus on animal health and welfare. Before returning to veterinary school, I spent over a decade leading teams in the technology industry, so reliability, communication, and professionalism are second nature. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, an older parrot, an independent and opinionated cat, or a shy saltwater goby, I take care of them all. For every single animal, from a senior who needs a slower pace or simply loves extra attention, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I understand normal pet behavior, can recognize when something doesn't seem right, and I'm comfortable administering most medications if needed. While you're away, you can expect: Frequent photo and video updates Prompt communication Play and engagement tailored to their energy level Plenty of affection and enrichment Respect for your pet's routine and training I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful. My goal is to make both you and your loved one feel completely at ease from our first meet-and-greet through the moment you return home. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s)! My dissertation-writing schedule gives me the flexibility to provide dependable, individualized care without rushing from place to place. Caring for pets is something I intentionally weave into my day, so your dog or cat receives genuine attention, enrichment, and companionship, not just a quick stop in. I love having animals as part of my daily routine, and I strive to make every visit feel calm, engaging, and tailored to your pet's unique personality. Creating a safe, enriching environment for animals is simply part of who I am. My home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely explore, play, and relax under close supervision. Because I share my home with my own dogs, fish, and other beloved animals, it's already thoughtfully designed with their safety and well-being in mind. From secure fencing and pet-safe spaces to keeping anything potentially hazardous out of reach, I strive to create an environment where every animal can feel comfortable and secure. I believe every living being deserves kindness, patience, and respect. Whether your pet loves to run and play, curl up for a nap, or quietly observe the world around them, I'll provide a calm, loving space where they can settle in and feel at home. My goal isn't just to "watch" your pet, it's to make them feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for while you're away.
“I can’t say enough great things about Joseph & Destiny! I knew I’d made a great choice when I felt so confident and calm driving away after leaving Harper. I received regular pictures and updates, and it was clear that she was happy and content. She loved playing with Apollo and Milky! We will definitely use J&D the next time we travel!”

“Amazing is all I can say!!! This was the first time Marcus stayed away from us and from the pics and videos we had nothing to worry about!! Faith was so so sweet and welcoming!! Even her mom came out to welcome him and they had home made treats!! Yes, home made!!!! 🍪 If you need puppy care, look no further, Faith is wonderful!! Thank you so so much for loving our fur baby! 🩵🐶”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple animals throughout my life, such as dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, ducks, and chickens. I’m very reliable and will make sure to follow directions on how you want your animal taken care of. I am currently a student and have a part time job, but I also have a lot of free time on my hands making this type of job perfect for me. I grew up around cats and dogs growing up and care deeply for animals. For animals I board I like to do a meet and greet to let your animal get to know an unfamiliar place with you there. For dog sitting I like to do a meet and greet at the house or a nearby park to get to know your pet and so that I’m not a stranger to them when hanging with them.
About: Growing up I have always had a dog. My older brother ran a dog training business on our farm after training dogs for the military. Due to this I was introduced to many different types of dogs and their personalities. Growing up he taught me the basics to training dogs and how to adapt to the dogs personality. Therefore I am able to care for all types of dogs and any of their needs. I am currently working full time; however, I am able to care for pets on weekdays anytime after 5pm. I am available 24/7 on weekends. I am able to care for any pet in any environment. Whether your pet runs free in a fenced in area or not. I also have no problem when it comes to putting pups in their crate.

“It’s a comfort for me when my dog, Zeke, is in Sandy’s care. When I’m away I can focus on what I need to do and I don’t worry about Zeke at all. I’m very grateful for Sandy’s loving care of my little dog. She’s a very wonderful and kind person.”

“Andrea updated me everyday about my pup and did an awesome just exercising him and letting him have fun! She was very flexible when I had a few last minute drop off/pick up time and date changes which greatly eased my stress. I will definitely book with her again next time I need a sitter in the New Bern area!”

I have been dog sitting for 10 years and I love it. I currently do travel healthcare and I’m looking for a job on the side with my boyfriend’s help too. I can do walks, home visits, overnight sitting in your home and anything else you’d need for your furry friend. I can work with you and your schedule to try to find the perfect time to help out you and your pet. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Don’t hesitate to ask any questions to see if I’m a good fit! I work full time during the week but am free most weekends. My boyfriend also helps out and is an early bird who can do drop ins before 7am and after 5 pm. I have a patio that the dogs can sun bath on and a huge h fenced yard to let the pups run around to get some energy out.
About: With a lifelong love for animals and years of hands-on experience, I’m here to give your pet the same care and attention I’d give my own. I started pet sitting and dog walking back in middle school and never stopped—it’s truly a passion of mine! I’m patient, active, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. My dog, who passed away a few years back, was a trained service animal and the sweetest boy. Whether your pet is shy or full of energy, I’m here to meet them where they are and make them feel right at home. I am self employed and work from home with a flexible schedule so I have time to dedicate to your pups and kitties! I can typically accommodate last minute bookings. As stated prior, my dog (who has now passed) was a service dog and went through safety training. I learned a lot throughout that course about pet handling and care. I am active and fit and can work with with animals from the smallest of kittens to the largest of pups!
“Michelle was a fantastic sitter for our Pepper. She provided daily updates and photos, and it was apparent that Pepper was enjoying his time with her. We highly recommend Michelle”

About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, pigs, fish, and the occasional duck or goose. I was responsible for a lot of their care before and after school, and I worked as a kennel technician for a couple of years. Currently I work on Duke’s campus with sick dogs in the pediatric department. I also just love animals! I’m good at attention to detail, cleaning up after pets, feeding/watering/medicating, and walking. I’m comfortable with any and all kinds of pets. I am a student, so I would be available for pet care before/at 12:30pm and after 4:30pm on week days, and available all day on weekends. I can also spend nights as needed. I am not able to keep pets in my dorm as it is against university policy but I would be more than happy to commute or spend nights for house/petsitting. I have done so before, and I do very well with this. I find it to be a fun experience

My goal is to keep your cat's routine as normal and stress-free as possible. “Second time having Robyn check on my cat. Always does a great job and leaves plenty of pictures. Happy to know my cat has a friendly person to care for her while I’m away”

“Outstanding Cat Sitter — Above and Beyond! Rebekah was absolutely wonderful with our two cats, Sadie and Bella! During the five days Rebekah cared for our girls, we received updates twice a day, always with great photos and videos. Every message was thoughtful and “newsy,” and Rebekah never hesitated to respond whenever we reached out, which gave us the total peace of mind everyone wants while out of town. One of our cats, Sadie, worked herself into such a state that she developed diarrhea even before we left. When we let Rebekah know, she suggested adding pumpkin to Sadie’s diet—and voilà! Problem solved. We were so impressed by Rebekah’s attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine care for our cats. We came home to two happy, well‑cared‑for girls and couldn’t be more grateful. This was the first time we have used Rover or worked with Rebekah, but it absolutely won’t be the last. We highly recommend Rebekah and would book again in a heartbeat!”

“Suzanne was wonderful with my 4 cats!! I was out of the country but was confident that they were in good hands. The daily report cards she sent were awesome! I believe she may also have a career in pet photography! Every picture sent was great!! Much better than my own pictures of my cats. I will definitely be using Suzanne again in the future, as all my cats now love her! She my #1 choice!”

About: I have my own 8 year old Maltipoo. I have also watched my friends dogs when they would go out of town for vacation due to my flexible schedule. I work remote and I am working on my bachelors degree online so my schedule is rather flexible. Differs from semester to semester though so I will adjust once the spring semester starts. I typically go to the clients home since the dog is more comfortable in their own environment. That option has always worked out the best in the past.
“This is our second time having Cierra do drop-ins for our beloved, free roam house rabbits, Freya and Gus. She’s always super communicative, responsive, and takes such good care of our babies while we are gone. She’s always our first choice!”

About: I have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats, beginning in early childhood and continuing into adulthood. I have owned dogs, cats, and horses since around the age of eight, which gave me an early understanding of daily pet care, animal behavior, and the responsibility required to keep pets healthy, safe, and happy. ***If you’d like a walk please book walking service otherwise I will just do a quick potty break and spend rest of time doing typical care*** In addition to personal pet ownership, I have gained hands-on experience dog and cat sitting for others. This has included caring for pets in their own homes as well as managing routines that differ from my own, such as specific feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise needs, and behavioral preferences. I am comfortable caring for pets of different ages, temperaments, and energy levels, including puppies, kittens, senior pets, and animals that require extra patience or reassurance. My pet-sitting responsibilities have often included daily walks, playtime️, feeding, administering medications as directed, cleaning up after pets, and ensuring they feel secure while their owners are away. I also understand the importance of clear communication with pet owners and providing updates for peace of mind.

About: Hello! My name is Moe and I have had the pleasure of being around animals my entire life. From helping my parents with the many pets we have owned to watching my neighbor's and relative's animals, and even farm sitting, taking care of and loving animals has been an integral part of my life! I have job experience at a pet boutique that also provided grooming, daycare, and boarding services. I also have work experience as a dog walker in the metro Atlanta area, and love getting to interact with the various types of pets I come across. I have all of the skills and experience to make sure your beloved pet is treated and taken care of the exact way it needs! Pet care is worked in to my weekly routine by ensuring we get plenty of time together before and after my work shifts. I work as the Studio Manager for our local Wine & Design with work days usually being Tuesday-Saturday 10 am - 6 pm! With pet parent permission I am allowed to bring dogs in to work to spend the day with me as well! I do my best to incorporate plenty of enrichment such as play time or walks to ensure that the critters are expending their energy and not spending too much time wondering where their owners are!!
About: I have been caring for animals my entire life as a child, wildlife rehabilitator and as a wildlife biologist. For the last year and a half I have built a very nice reputation as a dependable and loving pet sitter. I have watched dogs, cats and birds! I have taken care of many senior dogs as well as a few puppies. Needless to say I’m not afraid of a pee pad or pill bottles! I work remotely and choose my hours, meaning, I can be with your animals at all time if need be. I do not mind staying with them 24/7 while you are away. It also means you can contact me any time that you need too. I live on a dead end road with very low traffic and have a very large yard. We will also go for nice walks down to the river where our road ends and a trail leads out to the river. My two main borders often do not want to leave or they want to come back home with me. It’s a great spot for dogs, whether they need to be leashed or not. If I am staying at your house I will always follow their normal routine. I really like for my clients to leave a note with food instructions, treat instructions, medicine, and daily routine. I also like to have a just incase number (neighbor or family member in the area) and the veterinarian. This is all just incase of an emergency and to make sure your pet stays safe and has the best time possible with me.
About: I have had all kinds of animals throughout my life... cats, dogs, fish, etc. I currently have a miniature schnauzer and an Australian labradoodle puppy. I also have experience with elderly animals and can give injections as well as administer oral medications. I am a lover of all animals! I recently rehabed a baby squirrel that was struck by lightening. It was so rewarding when I was able to release him back into the wild! Before moving to my current location I volunteered with the ‘Cats about town’ program. Cats about town is a trap, neuter/spay, release program to help control the feral cat population in town. I assisted with trapping and also feeding after their release. I am dependable and punctual and you can trust that I will take the best care of your babies! My schedule/availability varies. I try to keep my calendar up to date but please message me to see if I can help you with your pet. I will be glad to do whatever is needed to care for your pet. Play visits, potty breaks, medicine administration, feeding, bathing, etc. Also willing to take your pet to the park, beach, vet, etc. I hope to make your life easier and your pets happy!

About: Walks, runs and playtime fun! Here to help whether it's because your busy at work or leaving town. I have the flexibility to give your pets multiple bathroom breaks, walks, or what ever else is needed. Contact me even if you have questions! Plant watering and mail gathering for out of town trips included... Just let me know what your needs are and we can schedule times accordingly. Im available through out the day, 7 days a week. I prefer Havelock clients for in house sitter jobs. If you need a lot of check ins I would rather keep your fur baby at my house, to avoid charging more for gas. I care for pets in their homes based on the guidelines the owners set out. I will always check their food and water bowls, walk or play outside and bathroom break.
About: -Personally, I have been caring for pets for 18 years. Pit mixes, reptiles, and felines. The first words most people would use to describe me would be "animal lover"! -Professionally, I have veterinary and animal handling experience. I worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Assistant between college and graduate school, which gave me experience with administering medication, pet safety, checking vital signs, soothing anxious pets, basic grooming, etc. I also spent two years in grad school walking dogs, boarding, and doing check-ins with "Wag!" which I thoroughly enjoyed! Professionally, I am a biologist and have a working knowledge of animal physiology -I have personally mothered and treated a Heartworm Positive dog, so I am well-versed in caring for a pup currently undergoing that! With my current seasonal position coming to an end, I expect to have a wide open schedule for the next few months. I am a pretty early riser, but can be flexible It is priority to make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible while missing you! I choose to not use a crate with my dog, but can with yours if you prefer that. I'm very active and like to ensure that animals get as much activity and enrichment as they like. I am very big on sending lots of photos and video updates on your pet throughout the day!

About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs for 10 years now and have gotten a good amount of experience. I am capable of handling all ages and have experience with special need cats and dogs. I also have experience with large aggressive dogs, dogs with excessive energy, and dogs that are very strong minded. I am not afraid of a challenge! I currently go to school, however I am free all of the rest of the day to spend time with your pet! this includes all day weekends and holidays I am very familiar with both cats and dogs as I have owned many in my life. I can work with both animals in early and late stages of life quite well. I have experience working with aggressive large dogs, and am not afraid of a strong willed pup.
