About: I grew up with dogs, big and small, ranging from Shih Tzu to Siberian Husky and Rottweiler! I care about dogs and all animals and treat them the same I would treat any person. I understand that animals have feelings, needs and wants. I want to be able to help families with their animal care needs, so that you have no worries while you are away or at work. You will know that your pup is in good hands! I am here to make your pup happy, comfortable and safe while you're away. When stopping by your home, I will visit your pup 2-3 times a day, morning, afternoon and evening. During those visits, I will verify that your pup has food and water, is let out to do their business and go for a walk for at least 10 minutes. When dog walking, I will walk your pup for a minimum of 15 minutes and will make sure the dog's food and water is full. I will provide walks as long as the dog may need, care in my, or your, home and be patient with any special needs or potty training. I believe that animals should be treated in a positive manner and will do so when taking care of your fur baby! When dog walking, depending on the individual's ability, we will go long and short distance, walking and running. We will explore areas where the dog can play and enjoy his or herself. I'd be honored to help you and your fur baby. I work full-time currently, but can do early morning check ins, afternoons depending on location & evenings. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! I can provide the best care and love for your pup or kitty in your home and during check ins. I look forward to meeting you!

“Brooke and her family were great! They clearly took great care of my pup as he was content around her, but worn out and ready to nap by the time we got in the car. She was really flexible and great at communicating. Would recommend and will use again in the future!”

About: Hi! I’m Kat — and I offer personalized walks and enrichment as a trusted extension of your dog’s care team. I know how hard it is to leave your dog. They’re family. Clear communication and consistency matter, and I take that seriously. Every visit is an opportunity to build trust — with both you and your pup. You’ll receive thoughtful updates that include notes on energy, potty, behavior, and anything I’m noticing (because yes, I absolutely pay attention to the details). I truly treat each dog as the individual they are. Some are bold explorers. Some are thoughtful observers. Some love a purposeful walk, while others prefer a slower pace with time to sniff and take it all in. I adjust each visit based on age, health, temperament, and your household routines — meeting your dog where they are and supporting what helps them thrive. I’m especially attentive to patterns — what helps a dog feel calm, confident, and engaged. Safety and steady leadership are always my priorities. I’m mindful at doors, leashes, transitions, and the environment around us so your dog’s experience is secure, structured, and positive.
“Charlotte had a great day with Lilli and her family! We are thinking she will be in the rotation now for my Charli girl. So many cute pics and I could tell she was loved. I was nervous since it was a first day. But Charlotte was tired when she came home so she must have been played and cuddled. We look forward to spending the week with Lilli and her pups!”

“I am in town for a wedding, and my dog was too stressed to stay in the hotel while I was gone. Desiree was a life saver by taking my dog at the last minute for doggy daycare! I was able to enjoy the wedding knowing my dog was having fun with other people and other dogs, and I picked up a happy and tired pup 😀 If I ever find myself back in the area, I would 100% ask Desiree to watch my dog again. Thanks!!!”

About: Hi, I’m Izzy – an educator and lifelong animal lover! I grew up with cats and dogs and now have two sweet, friendly pups of my own. I’ve worked at a dog grooming salon, cared for pets over school breaks, and love providing reliable care when pet parents need a helping hand. Whether your dog is a high-energy adventurer or a mellow homebody, I’ll adapt to their needs and give them all the love they deserve. I’m happy to provide references from other families I've worked with! I look forward to connecting soon. I work remotely as a teacher so I am available during the week and on weekends! I am happy to come to your house for drop in visits or walks. I also do offer doggy daycare in my home for one dog a day. I have two dogs of my own who love to have visitors. Your dog’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I’ve cared for dogs both in my home and in their own familiar space. I always follow your pet’s routine and preferences to make sure they feel secure. I have two friendly, crate-trained dogs who love making new friends, and my home is pet-safe and well set up for boarding or drop-ins. I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so you feel totally at ease!
“Shea is awesome! Messaged me throughout the day with updates on Pepper (doggy day care at sitter's house). Our dogs got along really well and played hard! Definitely rebooking and recommend.”

About: I’ve dog sat for my friends in this area on and off for years. I grew up on a ranch with animals and am comfortable with them. I have a 3 year old chocolate lab who absolutely loves friends to play with and has never had any issues with other dogs or people. I currently work part time, and have a lot of days with full flexibility. Most mornings after my kids go to school I’m free, and weekends or evenings my 12 year old and 8 year old love to walk with or play with dogs with me. My yard is fenced in, and my home is dog friendly. I’m happy to stay in clients homes as well if my schedule with my children allows. I don’t mind driving a bit to go to different neighborhoods for walking either.

“We were on vacation from Louisiana during the fourth of July weekend and needed one day to ourselves with out Sara. Katie did wonderful. She constantly was sending pictures and updates. Sara was just exhausted when we got home, and slept like a beauty on the 8 hour drive home the next day. If I lived in the area I would defiantly be a repeat customer!”
“Kristina was absolutely AMAZING with our sweet Ozzy girl ❤️ She kept us updated and sent tons of pictures and videos of Ozzy & her beautiful pup Murphy hanging out and playing together! Would recommend her to anyone who wants the best of the best for their fur baby❤️”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a kid and I absolutely love animals of every kind. I am very active, I have lots of experience with dogs (including fostering 13 dogs and puppies through a local rescue) and I can provide basic training, as well as baths, and lots of love while you are away! My goal for every booking is for your pets to feel like they are the ones going on vacation at the same time their family is :) I also have two dogs as well who loves to play so they will keep each other company during your pup’s stay. I typically go for a walk in the morning and a walk at night with my dog so I can provide lots of exercise if desired! I am also always happy to just provide lots of snuggles if that is more your dog’s speed! I have a large fenced in backyard and I live in a neighborhood with lots of safe sidewalks for walks. I never leave dogs outside unsupervised and provide lots of mental and physical exercise!
About: I have raised or taken care of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, sheep, cows, chickens, etc. You name it, if it was on a farm, I've helped to take care of it since I was a wee lass. I have a special place in my heart for senior kitties and doggos. We had a dog with Addison's Disease, so I am well versed in administering medicine orally, as well as subcutaneously. Our bearded dragon recently passed away, but she lived 9 years, which is decent in bearded dragon life! I do enjoy beardies and reptiles in general. I'm a stay-at-home-mom (prior teacher, but we have a bunch of little kids), and I'm always in town running errands and doing school drop-offs. I'm looking for exercise, and I love animals, so it seems like a beautiful fit. I started off with house sitting on my profile, but I took it off because I cannot to commit to sitting with them all day long because it takes a lot from my family. I can, however, spend hours with them at a time, and spend the night, but can't stay the whole time. Feel free to send me a message about house-sitting if that's what you need, and we can discuss. I know not to overfeed an animal; understand that exercise keeps them out of trouble; can easily crate your dog, and keep everyone fed, watered, and loved while you're away. I take pride in the fact that I am a quality person with high morals. I am too old for any hoodrat ish, and if you leave a vacuum and/or cleaning supplies out for me, I will use them for you. I am here for people and families, but I do prefer animals LOL
About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets, I have worked with a wide variety of dog and cat breeds, personalities, ages, and needs. From energetic puppies and playful kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention, I understand that every animal is unique and deserves personalized care. My experience includes feeding, walking, administering basic medications, providing companionship, maintaining routines, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am comfortable caring for multiple pets at once and have experience with pets of different sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. As a dedicated pet lover, I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing reliable, compassionate care and giving owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in trusted hands. As a stay-at-home mom of three children, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable and attentive pet care throughout the day. Being home most of the time means pets receive plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, exercise, and affection rather than being left alone for long periods. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for your pets to exercise and use the bathroom in a clean manicured area. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication administration, and cuddle time. My daily routine is built around caring for others, and I extend that same level of patience, responsibility, and attention to every pet in my care. Whether you need daytime visits, overnight care, or regular check-ins while you’re away, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment where your pets feel comfortable and cared for like part of the family.

I am very flexible and I am very willing to get the work done with your pup or puppies! I will do whatever it takes to make it work. Although I don’t have a fenced in yard I will make sure they are on a leash if needed when going out to do their business. I love to walk multiple times a day so you can be assured they will get lots of attention and exercise.

I spend quality time with each pet, not just quick visits, and always make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. I also keep you updated so you have peace of mind.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me time and time again to look after their pets (and even their plants), and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I share my home with my sweet lab mix, Congo, and my newly adopted cat, Mayo, who bring so much joy into my life. I’ve also spent years house‑sitting and pet‑sitting, and my time working in the local restaurant industry has taught me to be dependable, patient, and attentive. I treat every pet with the same love and comfort I give my own! I’m a local college student with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to give your pets attention, playtime, and consistent care. I follow safe walking practices with secure leash handling and close awareness of my surroundings. I also stick to your dog’s usual training and routine to keep them comfortable.

“I recently adopted Tucker and he is very shy around new people. Before the first walk, Shannon took the time to sit with him and get Tucker comfortable with her. After that, he looked forward to the daily walk. I will definitely use Shannon again.”

I’m happy to take your pup on neighborhood walks, play in the yard, or go on outings to Sniffspots or parks. I can drop in and check on your cats or spend time doing enrichment activities. I’ll treat your home with respect as I would my own and can take care of house sitting chores while you’re out of town. At my home, I have a large fenced yard and three very playful dogs. A large greenway runs through my neighborhood and is shaded for year round walks. I can crate your pup separately as needed.
About: I have had pets all my life. I have had dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. Dogs are my favorite and I treat them as part of the family. I currently stay at home and homeschool my son. I have a very flexible schedule. In saying that, I am willing to work around your schedule. I have a large fenced in backyard that your dogs can run free in and have a great time. Or they have space to just lay in the sun, like most dogs enjoy doing at times :)
About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life and truly love caring for them. I’ve worked with horses since I was 8 years old and have cared for dogs since I was 16. About: I will go the extra mile to make sure your pup is well loved, hydrated, fed, and exercised. I am new to the area and am eager to explore with a furry friend that I cannot financially support currently, so I will love and care for it like my own. I just moved to Southern Pines, and am looking for any kind of word I can. My experience having dogs in my house all my life has made me responsible and capable of taking care of any kind of dog. We have a very safe apartment complex that we take long walks around many times a day to keep your pup happy and comfortable. If your dog is also a competent swimmer we have a nearby lake with public swimming spots to enjoy.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.

About: Hi everyone! My name is Madison and I have experience with petsitting for about 7 years but have started growing my business (Maison Concierge) most within the past two! I absolutely love spending time with and taking care of all kinds of pets! I currently make my own schedule and work hourly so I have pretty open availability but in pieces. I pride myself on having flexibility & availability! I am always willing to work around my schedule if it conflicts! I prefer to provide care in the clients home but would not be opposed to care taking place in my home! I have amazing references who I will be happy to send your way as requested… also please feel free to check out my reviews here on Rover!
“I am so grateful for Kris! She is so kind and accommodating. Our dogs are a little high maintenance (one has some behavioral issues and the other has special needs) and she was more than happy to take care of them. In the past when we’ve had a poor experience with other walkers my dogs are stressed when I get home. Every time Kris has taken care of my dogs they seem so calm and content! She leaves detailed notes about the visit and sends lots of pictures, which I appreciate. She also stopped by to meet them beforehand to make sure it was a good fit. I would 100% recommend her services and will continue to book with her!”

Currently I have 3 dogs, a cat, and 2 beautiful little girls. One of my dogs is diabetic and I have to administer insulin daily. I have a lot of experience caring for many animals with different dietary and health needs. Right now, I am a stay at home dad. My wife is off work for the Summer, so I will have time available to help care for your pets. My children will also be starting pre-school in the Fall so I will have plenty of time available for pet visits. I am very detail oriented, and will make sure I care for your pets how you prefer, and follow your instructions to the best of my ability. I currently have two daughters in elementary school. I drop-off and pickup every day from school. I am available while they are in school (approx. 8:00AM-2:00PM) and may have availability later in the afternoon some days. I am available for any drop-in visits at client's home (including walking, feeding, and other routine pet care) but, am not caring for pets at my home at this time.

It gives us so much peace of mind knowing Penny is happy, well cared for, and loved while we’re away. Highly recommend!”

About: I became a dog mom at 19, and have been dog-sitting off and on ever since! While the extra income is always nice, I mainly do it to prevent coming home with a new puppy every week. I treat all the dogs I meet like they're my own and give them as much love as I do to my own babies - an 11 year old Lab mix and 6 year old German Shepherd! They both have loved every dog I've ever had staying at my house. I'm comfortable with all breeds and all ages, and have no problem giving medications if needed. I am available during the daytime for long walks and have a very flexible work schedule, which means a lot of play time for your pup! I’m currently working remote part-time and have the flexibility to choose my own hours, which means I have plenty of spare time during the day to spend with your pup! I treat your pets as if they are my own, giving them the same amount of love and attention if not more! I always make sure they are well cared for and that the client comes home to a clean house and happy pets!
“Although this is the first Taylor’s sitting Kiki, I can tell Kiki was happy and comfortable at Taylor’s house and played along with Taylor’s dog, a golden retriever. Taylor’s daily photo and sms update of Kiki’s activities gave my wife and me a peace of mind. We are happy and thankful for Taylor’s care of Kiki. We will definitely ask Taylor for help again when needed.”
