About: I have loved dogs since before my parents finally fulfilled my Christmas wish for a puppy when I was five. Since then, dogs have been a constant in my life and a crucial source of joy and fulfillment. Over the last decade I embraced the adult side of dog love by regularly dog sitting for friends and family and eventually adopting a dog of my own. Dogs have always been one of the best parts of my life and I look forward to meeting yours! I don't have a formal dog training certification, but I think my dog Rafiki would gladly give me one. I adopted Rafiki 7 years ago and he is wonderful. His special talents include spinning his tail like a helicopter and being the first dog that 'non-dog-lovers' actually enjoy. He was not always such a dream though. When he was a puppy he had all sorts of terrible habits that I won't get into (RIP tv remotes, shoes, untoppled drinks). I decided that I needed some help with this adorable rambunctious puppy and signed him up for day camp training with a trainer in Durham. Every day when I picked him up, the trainer would spend 30 minutes to an hour teaching me how to work with Rafiki. He taught me a million things and really opened my eyes on how interact with dogs, how to read their body language, and how to best communicate with them. Though I’m no expert, I’d be happy to reinforce any training or problem-solving you’re working on with your pup. I am also happy to just spend some quality time together making sure their time away from you is fun, safe and enriching. I would love the chance to take your pup on some walks and adventures while giving you the peace of mind of knowing they are in good hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for pet care. I like to stay active and enjoy hikes and walks with our furry friends. My dog is able to come in and out as he pleases. We have a fenced in yard (front and back) with plenty of room to play.

About: For nearly 20 years, caring for animals has been one of my greatest joys. I have 19 years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a devoted cat owner, and currently care for a flock of chickens and an angora rabbit on our peaceful two-acre woodland property. I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! I do have a kennel available for dogs who prefer to be crated, and if not, I have free roam dog beds, couches and human beds available for all pets who enjoy them!

Must be house broken and leash friendly. I do not have a fenced in yard. 2 day minimum stay Dog walking, boarding. We live in a neighborhood perfect for walking dogs- low traffic, quiet. I schedule my day around visits, walks, feeding times, and play so each pet gets reliable care and attention. I treat every pet like family. I follow their usual routine for meals, walks, and playtime so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I also provide lots of attention, love, supervision and updates so both pets and owners feel safe and at ease.
About: I've always enjoyed taking care of animals all of my life. While not being able to own too many myself, I have always opted to taking care of other's pets, whether it be dogs, cats, or something else. I am always happy to see/find new experiences, and am up to the challenge for anything new! I'm taking online classes currently, so my schedule is open after 8AM! If needed slightly earlier, I will try my best to compensate for such a need, as my schedule is very flexible. I live in a townhouse, so I do not have a fenced yard or any of the sort, however, I can provide a quality experience with your pets in attention and exercise!

About: I have loved dogs since before my parents finally fulfilled my Christmas wish for a puppy when I was five. Since then, dogs have been a constant in my life and a crucial source of joy and fulfillment. Over the last decade I embraced the adult side of dog love by regularly dog sitting for friends and family and eventually adopting a dog of my own. Dogs have always been one of the best parts of my life and I look forward to meeting yours! I don't have a formal dog training certification, but I think my dog Rafiki would gladly give me one. I adopted Rafiki 7 years ago and he is wonderful. His special talents include spinning his tail like a helicopter and being the first dog that 'non-dog-lovers' actually enjoy. He was not always such a dream though. When he was a puppy he had all sorts of terrible habits that I won't get into (RIP tv remotes, shoes, untoppled drinks). I decided that I needed some help with this adorable rambunctious puppy and signed him up for day camp training with a trainer in Durham. Every day when I picked him up, the trainer would spend 30 minutes to an hour teaching me how to work with Rafiki. He taught me a million things and really opened my eyes on how interact with dogs, how to read their body language, and how to best communicate with them. Though I’m no expert, I’d be happy to reinforce any training or problem-solving you’re working on with your pup. I am also happy to just spend some quality time together making sure their time away from you is fun, safe and enriching. I would love the chance to take your pup on some walks and adventures while giving you the peace of mind of knowing they are in good hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for pet care. I like to stay active and enjoy hikes and walks with our furry friends. My dog is able to come in and out as he pleases. We have a fenced in yard (front and back) with plenty of room to play.
About: Hey there! I'm Alice. I started dogsitting in college and have cared for every kind of dog, from puppies to seniors. I also love cats (so much so that I get weekly allergy shots to snuggle with them). I spent several years as a foster for Saving Grace NC, where I cared for dogs with high medical needs. Today I'm lucky to live in a home with a fenced in back yard where pets can have supervised sniff adventures. I work from home and don't travel much, so I'm available to care for your animals and give them all the attention they deserve. I work from home full time, so I'm available to take dogs for multiple daily outdoor adventures-- from neighborhood walks to trips to the Eno River. I usually go to the gym in the morning, and spend the day at home working. I'll sometimes leave the house for a few hours in the evening. I have a fenced in back yard and never leave a dog outside unsupervised. I'm diligent about leaving every home I visit better than I found it, and love to send clients photos of their pets while they're on their travels.
