Sarah's husband played an important role as co-sitter, giving my dog another person to add to her favorite people list. My dog and I met with Sarah about a week or two prior to the stay, to go over any of Boo's specific characteristics. Sarah's household was very pleasant, and the backyard was nicely fenced in for a large playing area. Communicating while planning and during the stay was excellent. About: I have had cats in the home since I was about 6 years old, I am now 23 and still have a 17 year old, an 8 year old, and a 1 year old. I have had the experience of raising kittens from kittenhood until their golden years. Besides my own pets, I have rescued and taken care of multiple stray cats as well. Most notably would be two years ago when I rescued two kittens from my local park. I spent countless hours with them before catching them and getting them to the vet for all of their shots and fixing. Afterwards, they lived at my home where I would spend hours sitting with them, trying to get two feral boys to be friendly so they could be rehomed. Currently, they are living with a loving home that provides frequent updates and they even sleep in the bed with her! About: We have had dogs in our family for years. I have all the basic experience of taking care of a crate trained dog. We also had a high energy Australian shepherd that had to go boot camp a few times…that being said I understand their training is very important to keep up so I am open and receptive to all their training and dietary needs. My dogs get along very well, even though they were introduced to each other a few years apart. However, they must be fed separately to prevent any fights or food stealing. I also have experience caring for dogs who cannot be in the same space together. Because of this, I am fully capable of handling specific care requests, whether that means feeding pets separately or maintaining a safe distance between them for their safety.

About: As a young girl I've always had a fondness for animals. I would beg to have a dog until I finally got one. Pepper. Then later Betsy. I've had guinea pigs and rabbits. A rat and mice. Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. Drop in visits are the easiest for me right now as I will not be able to provide boarding or stay in home.
