My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. About: I’m an experienced and attentive dog caregiver who truly loves spending time with animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for many dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I have a large, fully fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run, play, and explore safely. I’m very observant and hands-on, so pet parents can feel confident that their dogs will receive lots of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection throughout their stay. I work from home and have plenty of time and attention to give to your dog(s). I wake up early so we can get outside before it gets too hot. Happy for short or long stays! About: Pet sitting was one of the first jobs I ever took up. Along with my family being a pet owner household, I’ve taken care of many family members pets and also friends of family pets. About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. My mother was a dog sitter when I was younger so that has made me comfortable around most if not all breeds. I would help her with the feeding while she took them out. Now that I’m older I have two huskies and a cat. My goal is to eventually have farm animals, mainly as pets 😂. So, my love for animals is quite enormous. I do currently work from home M-F. I can give potty breaks every 2-3 hours while working. Since I work from home your pet would have to be well mannered while I’m on the phone. They of course will be welcomed to lay around me while working and will be loved on the entire time 😊. I have a huge yard, 2 acres worth. About 1/2 an acre is fenced in for the dogs. I have 2 spunky huskies well one tends to be more lazy than anything and I have a cat that loves our dogs.

Friends and family have always trusted me as their go-to person when they travel or need help with their pets. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding routines, medication schedules, or just quality couch time, I treat every dog like my own. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I’m currently working from home and make my own hours, so I’ve got plenty of flexible time to care for your pets! I’m available weekdays and most weekends morning, afternoon or night. When I visit your home, I follow your pet’s existing routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walk routes, and any special instructions. I always send photo and text updates so you know your dog is happy and comfortable. I’m careful about securing doors and gates, and I’m happy to discuss any specific needs like medication or dietary restrictions before the first visit. I also do require that I come meet you and your pet before accepting you as a client. I want to ensure both you and your pet are comfortable with me and vice versa.
“Tristina was able to come walk my dog with very short notice. She was kind, loving, and my dog SERIOUSLY loved her. He loves everyone, but he had an instant connection with her. She was comfortable with walking him, even tho he was really excited. She listened carefully to my instructions and made sure to follow the training we are doing with him since he's still a puppy and we're still training him. She took him on a 1.2 mile walk. She showed up on time and returned him on time. I will be hiring her again for sure! Thanks!”
