Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. He was excited to meet her even on our meet and greet before we started care and was immediately comfortable with her and her other dogs who are sweethearts as well. He’s been over there for a couple of weeks, but in that time, I’ve dropped him off and picked him up with the biggest smile on his face. She’s helped a lot with training as well since he’s my first dog I’ve had and he’s doing really well with that both at her home and at mine as I learn proper commands too. Communicates very thoroughly with me on how he was throughout the day, what he learned, and his overall behavior and she’s very attentive to care instructions. I couldn’t be happier with her care and honestly wish we found her earlier!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets since 9 and taken care of a few others before applying here can drop in for visits at any time during the summer months I currently own an American bully which we love she’s about 6 years old very loving does well with most dogs. Mom of 6 very used to being around dogs and often help take care of my dog as well. Can drop in for 30 minute visits for potty breaks and company , feed and make sure their area is clean before heading out. Can also acomódate emergency visits if necessary

My neighbor growing up had 4 cats, that I loved dearly! She was the first person who allowed me to watch her fur babies when she went on vacation! I've pet sat many times since then. Dogs big and small of all breeds from a little pug to a 100lb+ Rottweiler. I own a 85lb pit bull mix and a 10lb weenier dog. 🐶 They are my babies.💗 I can drop in anytime to check on your fur babies. Spend extra time with them. I do bathing, and walks also! If you need your fur babies to be crated, no problem! I will make sure their safety comes first. You can put your mind at ease knowing your pets will be taken care of! This is my full time job, I enjoy every second of it! So day or night I can always do a drop in visit or a walk! Your pets safety comes first! So during a meet and greet I will be going over a small list of questions to make sure I can take care of your fur baby to the best of my ability. With this I create a “pet profile” so when you need to rebook with me I’ve already got a reference to look back at. EXAMPLE; if your dog is good with other animals, or if there is a certain amount of food that needs to be given. These are just notes I make for myself, and so you can rest assured your fur baby is getting the best care!

About: Hello! I have owned and cared for dogs for over 10 years. I specialize in small dog breeds of all ages. I have two small dogs of my own, and one has that classic small dog sass! My goal is for your pet to forgot that mom/dad is not around, and have fun/release their energy while maintaining their normal schedule. I have cared for multiple dogs ranging in weight from 5-40lbs for personal clients. I always treat every pet that I work with like they are my own children, because let’s face it, they are! My availability is currently to limited to outside of standard work hours. I am available Monday-Friday after 5:30pm and any time on the weekend. Thank you! “Tristina was able to come walk my dog with very short notice. She was kind, loving, and my dog SERIOUSLY loved her. He loves everyone, but he had an instant connection with her. She was comfortable with walking him, even tho he was really excited. She listened carefully to my instructions and made sure to follow the training we are doing with him since he's still a puppy and we're still training him. She took him on a 1.2 mile walk. She showed up on time and returned him on time. I will be hiring her again for sure! Thanks!”

David often takes the dogs to a neighbors fenced in land and just lets the dogs run and explore in a safe environment. There’s even a small pond for them to splash and swim in. in addition, our dog is safely socialized as David will typically keep 2-3 dogs at a time and makes sure the dogs are staying are all friendly and compatible.”
