About: I have been surrounded by pets my whole life. Growing up, we always had dogs, cats, and birds. When I moved to the U.S, I lived in the country side with many dogs and thousand of birds (literally). Now, I have a little Chihuahua mix; he is like my baby. So you can be rest assured I care for yours as they're my own! I can assist with pet care in your home or mine. I offer dog walking for when you are at work or away from home on holiday. Playtime is paramount for most pets. It keeps them engaged and happy. Dogs that are active should have extra activities while you're away. I'm an active person and I believe it's your pets utmost health benefit to have lots of playtime and outdoor time! I also have fostered and pet sit for elderly or more low key dogs and always provide just the right amount of activity to take any limitations so not to strain or over do. I am currently taking dog behavioral training classes. I have some behavior training for dogs to best understand your pet. As I am always seeking to further my studies. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. About: Have had pets my entire life, bred multiple reptiles in the past, have had several dogs over the years, exotics, still have a 23 year old african grey who is my middle child who won't leave the nest, spent a decade volunteering at a no-kill shelter, multiple animal rescues, have worked in multiple veterinary offices, been vegetarian since 1997, worked as a vegan chef in several restaurants, and still love to cook for potlucks, friends and fun!
