“I cannot recommend booking with Mickale enough!!! My sweet cat just recently went through a tail amputation procedure and Mickale took excellent care of her while I was gone. While I was away, my cat’s tail wounds reopened and she had to be taken to the emergency animal center to get them stitched back up. Not only did Mickale pick my cat up from the emergency center early in the morning and drop her off all the way across town at a pet boarding hospital, but she was incredible at communicating with me about what was happening throughout the entire time she was caring for my cat and she went so above and beyond with caring for my sweet kitty. About: Growing up, I have always had pets. We have had both dogs and cats that I had to care for since a young age. As I’ve gotten older, I have been watching friends’ pets when they go out of town. In 2019, I made a Facebook post about my dog sitting that caught many people’s attention. I had many responses that led to lots of pet sitting that summer. Every summer since 2019, my schedule has been completely booked up with pet sitting in my area. I have experience with small dogs, big dogs, puppies, older dogs, and cats. I have experience giving both oral and injectable medications. I have spent time volunteering at the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County, Southern Pines Animal Shelter, and the West Memphis Animal Shelter. I am very comfortable being around both dogs and cats, understanding their body language, and caring for them. I am a social work graduate student in the North MS area. I have an internship 3 days a week and class 2 nights per week. My best availability is Friday-Monday, because I don’t have class or internship on those days. I am unable to bring pets into my home because I have 2 roommates with 4 cats. However, I would love to care for your animals in your home! My family used to rescue dogs and rehome them, so I have experience with a wide range of breeds from Great Danes to Yorkies to all kinds of kitties as well as a range of ages from newborns to seniors. If a medication has to be administered at a specific time, I will adjust my schedule to ensure your pet's safety and consistency. I take care to keep toxic plants, foods, and loose wires out of reach, and I maintain clean litter boxes and bowls throughout my visits. If certain pets cannot share a space, I will follow your instructions closely to keep everyone safe and comfortable. In case of emergencies, I have a reliable vehicle that pets can safely ride in if transportation is needed.
About: I began providing pet care services around 10 years ago, when I was just 13 years old! Over time, I have gained an extensive ammount of experience caring for a wide variety of animals! I have experience administering medication to elderly/senior dogs, as well as caring for litters of puppies. I'm currently working full-time as an assistant store manager of a tanning salon! I always work 7-hour shifts. I am also always off of work on Wednesdays! I do not offer dog care in my own home, however, I would be more than happy to keep your dog as comfortable as possible in their own home! Provide me with your dogs feeding schedule and I will make sure that it is followed exactly. Fresh water will also always be given! For dogs-they'll be taken outside to potty whenever they need to. For cats-litter boxes will be cleaned daily. Any other special instructions will be followed as directed. Your pet will also recieve as many cuddles as they'd like, of course!
About: I have been taking care of dogs and many different animals since I was a child! I had many pets ranging from birds, frogs, iguanas, hermit crabs, ferrets, cats, and dogs. I have always been an animal lover! I unfortunately do not get to have a pet of my own due to my husband being in the Air Force. Which means we move around a lot. This has been really hard for me considering the fact that my whole life I’ve been acclimated to caring for and loving pets. About: I've had pets all of my life. I love all animals especially dogs. I currently have a toy poodle named jewels . Jewels is actually my sister's dog but she was born on my birthday and we've been inseparable since the first day I laid eyes on her. The love of a pet is unconditional and that's one of the characteristics i love most about dogs. They can sense danger and they can also sense when they are in good hands. Im a 35 year old stay at home mom (to a 2 year old daughter) that loves animals and wants your fur baby to be shown as much love as I would show my own. Then, I would play with them to ensure that they do not get bored and not have separation anxiety.
